How many times do you hear of hospitals or Doctors getting sued in Nigeria? And hospitals in Nigeria generally pick and choose which cases to treat. We have heard a lot of cases of accident victims being refused treatment and subsequently dying.
In Nigeria, people just act with impunity. No consequences at all. That is what is in play here. And the Doctor is even narrating the event as if it was a sports event.
