Foreign AffairsRe: ECOWAS Rejects Niger Junta’s 3-year Transition Plan by poseidon12: 12:18am On Aug 21, 2023
Throwback:
Igbos and Obidients are looking up to judiciary in Nigeria over a contested presidential election that an Igbo candidate claimed the winner did not merit.

Same Igbos and Obidients are also the ones supporting a military junta that illegally and treasonably sacked a democratically elected government.

Same Igbos and Obidients want ECOWAS and other foreign nations to respect the sovereignty of Niger, even when the legitimate government wants those world powers to remove the military junta, so that the legitimate government can return to its constitutional duties.

Igbos and Obidients want the very same foreign powers to help them remove the democratically elected President of Nigeria. They have written letters to ask that the President in Nigeria should not be recognised. They have forgotten that Nigeria is also a sovereign state - one that is even having the legitimate and democratically elected President in power.

What do Igbos and Obidients truly want?

What is their moral character judging by all their unstable interests that conflict with each other?
And Yoruba Muslims and Tinubu that rigged election (civilian coup) are the same people that are asking military coup plotters to hand power back to civilians?

They strike because of excess of France, they have Uranium but France won't allow them to generate electricity with, whenever they sell any resources to another country France will get 50% of the Money, even the remaining 50 % Niger is only entitle to 20% from it.. France gave then Cefa but the same France is spending Euro..... even all the francophone foreign reserve must be in France.. if they want to do anything like any project... maybe road and co or purchasing any military gadget they must consult France first and if let say 100 people bid for the contract and there is just 1 France citizen among they must award the contract to that France citizen even he fail... they are fighting for alot
If this is true, then the coup is in order. They need to reclaim their country from the stranglehold of France.

jumper524:
I watched a video where Sanusi stated that we shouldn't vote anybody that tells you it would be easy to rule Nigeria.
These are one of the challenges a president face.

The president is the most held accountable individual in this country.
But then again, there are other people who should be held accountable as much as the president but we tend to turn a blind eye towards.

1, is we ourselves : how often do we pay our tasks, it would be a great sin if you commenting and criticising is yet to renew your expired drivers license but then again criticise Mr president at same time.

2, state governors: I'm surprised more people tend to hold Ganduje that construct multiple state projects and is debt free of salaries responsible and accountable much more than Obaseki and okowa of the PDP who are/were governors of oil rich Niger delta states but yet left the states in a terrible condition coupled with having one of the worst state schools in the country.

3, Senators: Now this arm of govt were quick to approve the president plea to 8k monthly palatives for over 12 million Nigerians.
I did the maths, that's over 110k slots per senator.
These men who are educated knows better than to pass the bill, even those in the jesus christ labour party didn't object to the bill cos they weigh their pocket before their constituents.
Imagine holding over 20k slots of over 110k slot?
That's about 160million monthly, the senator would still be perceived as saints if he disburse the rest 90k.

The president has the lowest to gain of the country fails but then his advisers/ministers and other arms of govt have the highest to benefit if they loot what's good for the economy.
The president has been elected, and instead of being the president enemy and hating for no reason, we should rather be his best friends in guiding him towards the evil sets around him.
The useless constitution makes it so.

Okoroawusa:
What exactly is Lamido saying? ECOWAS should leave the coupists in Niger because they are your brothers?

So if tomorrow some Hausa soldiers overthrow a democratically elected president in Nigeria, Niger should not contribute to ECOWAS troops because the coupists are their brothers?

I am not getting these Northern elites. If Buhari was the president would they react like this?
For your information, there is no democratically elected President in Nigeria. Tinubu was not elected. That is why the case is in the Court.

You can't be an expert In everything, he is an accountant and that's why he has advisers.. especially NSA

ECOWAS 15 members country organization declared military exercise on Niger not Tinubu

Tinubu took the mission to the Senate for debate

Sultan of Sokoto, Emir of Kano, former Head of State Abdusalam all went for dialogue but got entertained at the airport and turned back

PS: what will Peter Obi and Atiku do differently in this case

.
Peter Obi and Atiku would not have given the junta an ultimatum and they would have talked to the junta respectfully. Tinubu was talking to the junta as if they were his servants. He was arrogant. Niger Republic is a sovereign nation, not a State in Nigeria.
