PoliticsRe: Oyegun, APC Governors In Crucial Meeting by Positiveminds(m): 10:25am On Jul 31, 2015
The meeting was to address the problem of Acting DG of SSS that was brought up by PDP. Lie Mohammed had told the world there were no ties between APC and the DG before PDP proved their position with facts. Obviously, the meeting is a move to fabricate another lie.

Bunch of liars.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Presidency - Two Months Of Indisputable Success by Positiveminds(m): 8:37am On Jul 31, 2015
Lies everywhere. Buhari's performance has been less than general expectation.

1. Electricity: There has been no remarkable improvement anywhere.
2. Foreign Reserves: APC concocts tissues of lies. They said that GEJ left empty treasury yet there was $29.5b left in foreign reserves. On that amount there has been modicum increase to $ 30.6b since PBM entered.
3. War against Boko Haram: They said it was a sin for GEJ to seek the help of neighbouring countries in the fight against Boko Haram, yet PMB, from that his gworo- stained mouth, said again that the individual efforts cannot win the war, so he had to travel to the neighbouring countries to seek for their support.
3.Image of the country: PMB has proven to the world that Nigeria is a huge joke. When the President of a country says one thing this minute and denies it the next minute, that is making mockery of the entire nation. When the President does not even know the name of his political party, forgets the name of his hosts, that is bad enough image for the country.
4. Failed promises: How many can we mention here! Where are the Chibok girls? What about the N5,000 allowance to the unemployed? Where are the jobs promised? What of the assets declaration?

This Buhari- led government is a scam
PoliticsRe: Buhari Administration: Two Months, Failed Promises, Zero Success... by Positiveminds(m): 6:44am On Jul 31, 2015
kenny091:
I have realised no matter the amount of good Buhari does, some people will always hate him, what surprises me is the moral justification that PDP has to castigate him. I wish Barcanista would one day take time to compile an article of all the failed promises of his party PDP in their 16years in governance. Buhari and indeed APC need opposition to function properly since this is a democracy but PDP is just not the right party to provide it. They are grossly inexperienced, overeager and too hate-filled to fulfill this crucial role.
Stop defending the indefensible. Let us admit, when things are not going the right way. Nigeria will be a better country for it. As things are now, Buhari's government is failing Nigerians. We expected him to hit the ground running. Go out there and you see people suffer untold hardship. The economy is being strangulated, all in the name of fighting corruption.

Yes, he should fight corruption but that should not stampede the present. I think there should be a balance. He should stop allowing the country run on auto-pilot and sole administration.
BusinessHow Best To Mitigate Tax Liabilities by Positiveminds(op): 1:41pm On Jul 29, 2015
The current stance of the Federal Government is to increase its non- oil revenues. One good way to achieve this to enhance its tax administration machineries. In the days to come, Nigerians shall see the Federal Inland Revenue Service enforcing on tax collections, and this would inevitably lead some people to jail terms .

It is important, therefore, to understand the dynamics of taxation in Nigeria, with a view to mitigating possible future tax liabilities. This is particularly important to owners of businesses.

To reduce tax liabilities, the following should be done.

1. Engage the services of qualified Tax Consultant.
2. Ensure that your books of accounts are properly kept. Create cashbooks, payment vouchers.
3. Do not throw away those receipts of assets purchased. Keep them properly.
4. Reconcile your bank statements to cashbooks.
5.Separate your personal expenses from those of the business, and as much as possible, do not pay your personal money into the company's bank accounts.
6. File your tax returns within due dates.
7. Avoid rushing to FIRS alone. You will get into trouble, if your Tax Consultant is not there.

Seek for help when you are in shit already!

How else do you define wickedness ! Some of them may since have died of hunger, not being able to take care of their medical needs.

Truly, truly I say unto us, these our politicians are close associates of Satan the Devil. They are wicked.
PoliticsRe: Railways: Jonathan Lacked Vision –obasanjo by Positiveminds(m): 12:51pm On Jul 29, 2015
It is regrettable that OBJ's hatred for GEJ knows no limits. There are times when elders should learn to keep quiet so that children don't begin to associate them with witchcraft. OBJ has lost every sense of decorum and is near to being consigned to an asylum.

While he was President of Nigeria, OBJ knew that the country's railway system was in comatose, yet he did nothing. This same OBJ spent over N95billion on electricity yet there was no light. Many Nigerians and foreigners died in air disasters, all because he,OBJ, either deliberately meant evil for the nation or just was nonchalant.

Yes, Jonathan failed Nigeria in many areas but OBJ did even worse, and is in no position to criticize anybody. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!
PoliticsAPC : We Regret The National Assembly Crisis. by Positiveminds(op): 12:36pm On Jul 29, 2015
The All Progressives Congress on Tuesday expressed regret over the leadership tussle in the National Assembly.

It also commended the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and his colleagues for what it called their sense of patriotism in their handling of the situation in the House.

The National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, said this at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.

He was reacting to the resolution of the crisis in the House of Representatives and the crisis in the Senate.

According to him, though the APC was uncomfortable with the crisis, it noted that the emanating issues were part of the country’s growing democracy.

Odigie-Oyegun said, “I want to commend the Speaker and his colleagues for their sense of patriotism. It is my hope and expectation that the wounds will now be totally healed and the APC family will now reunite fully as one.”

To Nigerians, Odigie-Oyegun said, “I have already offered our regrets. This is part of growing. We are new in government and we are a democratic and progressive movement.

“We are in the process of welding all the various tendencies into one and today we have scored one major victory and I can assure the country that the party has begun the process of healing all the wounds and becoming one strong force.

“We are moving from being a movement to being a strong political party that will back the President for the good of the entire country.”

Referring to the crisis in the Senate, Odigie-Oyegun said, “The Senate is a different level and a different situation. I think the way we are going to handle the situation will be totally different. But at the end of the day even the Senate issue will be sorted out too.”

Questions is this: Why did APC come prepared to handle the responsibility of governance? Today, fuel scarcity seems to have come to stay with us, as DSS now wants to fight hard to monitor the lingering problem. I pray that APC gets its acts together and begin to assuage the pains of Nigerians.

Long live Nigeria.

All that I read was a President talking about corruption as if that is everything about Nigeria's problem. Did you guys not observe that the man has no clear-cut plans on how to tackle specific issues bedeviling the country. Generalized response to questions indicated that we are in for a long thing.

In one breath he talks about amnesty, in another he condemns it. Appointment of Army Chiefs was for those who understood the terrain, and that had to be the northerners. I hope those he also appoints Army Chiefs who understand the terrain in SS very well.

PMB is a mistake. Error-plus!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Will A Master's Degree Improve One's Employment Prospect? by Positiveminds(m): 2:31pm On Jul 25, 2015
There are questions you need to answer to enable take the right decision. What do you want? Who do you want to be? Are you out to be wealthy and rich? The you want fame? You must be open to yourself in answering these and many more questions.

If your plan is to live wealthy, rich and independent, start with skill acquisition. Attach yourself to private organizations from where you can acquire skills. As you do this, get professional certifications. Start to build your world, as you set up your business.

If your plan is to be famous, go for the masters programme and make inroads to lecturing in schools.
