delishpot:
Sex and marriage are two different things. And how do you know she was having sex? Did you investivate her vagina? Not every 16 year old makes sex their priority so dont use your ignorant belief to limit every girl child. Dont 16 year old boys also have sex? Do you force boys to get married at 16 because some of them have started having sex?
and not every 40 year old woman makes sex a priority, a lot r still virgins. Sex is the union in marriage that is why in every scriptures God instruct that it should only be shared btw married couples only. I repeat if she is old enough to ve sex then she is old enough to be married. Stop the cosmetics the reality is the reality.

Did you see this in my post or just expressing your opinion? undecided
an opinion of course. if 16 is ripe for sex then why a crime for marriage? i feel disgusted when people choose to criminalize one side of thesame coin.

At 16, she wasn't ripe for a wife. She is still a kid.
Maybe she was just trying to play out what she had watched in kannywood with the thought he will just die for a moment and reappear later since actors do die in one movie and feature in a later one
Aboki and this marrying of newly weaned children sef.
35 married to 16, that is 19yrs difference, haba.
ok but she is ripe for only sex right.

PoliticsRe: Tumba Garba, Senator Binta's Father Speaks: I Didn't Burn Her House by Positivepoint(m): 2:26pm On May 05, 2018
Letenwam:
Contrary to claims of burning her daughters home after she married a Christian, Senator Binta's father, Tumba Garba, who sat for an interview with Punch, said he gave his daughter blessing on the day she chose to marry a Christian.

Recall that Senator Binta had in April narrated during her 50th birthday how her properties were set ablaze by her father after she became a Christian while she was in primary school.

“My father was infuriated and he burnt everything I had because of my decision to follow Christ. I suffered so much because of the name of Jesus. I would have been nothing if not for His grace,” she had stated.

Tumba, a 104-year-old retired military corporal, who noted that that his family had nothing against his daughter on Thursday, added that his family was a tolerant one which never discriminated against any religion. Tumba said that was why he allowed his children to practice any religion that they wanted.

Speaking in Tudun Wada, Michika when he met with the leadership of the Muslim Council from Adamawa North Senatorial zone, teary Senator Binta's father told the gathering that Binta never intended to insult Islam when she converted to Christianity. It was gathered that the meeting was to set the records straight

He said, “My father was a Christian and I converted to Islam. So, when Binta wanted to marry a Christian, I gave her my blessing.”

He also said that the happiest day of his life was the day his daughter took him to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that he had tried in time past to meet with the President when he became a military ruler.

Following the meeting, Binta told journalists that she was glad that her father had come to assure the Muslim community that the earlier remark attributed to her wasn’t true. She also called on her political opponents to judge her based on stewardship rather than religious sentiment.

South-South Igbos do not actually know that if they can come together under one umbrella, they would automatically become the largest and most influential group in the south-south.
Instead they rather prefer to identify with their local govt areas.

SS Igbos control 2 of the top 5 most influential cities in the SS, Asaba & PH. They have let Ijaws become the identity of the SS out of their own foolishness.

PoliticsRe: Transcript Of Donald Trump's Meeting With Buhari by Positivepoint(m): 10:23am On May 01, 2018
Mcoutureankara:
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Thank you very much. It’s an honor to be with President Buhari of Nigeria. We have many things that we do together, as you know, probably — especially on terrorism and terrorism-related.

We also have a very big trade deal that we’re working on for military equipment — helicopters and the like. We have met before. We have developed a great relationship. And we look forward to our discussion today — very important — but again, especially as it relates to terrorism. And that’s terrorism here and terrorism all over the world. It’s a hotbed, and we’re going to be stopping that.

Also, we’ve had very serious problems with Christians who have been murdered, killed in Nigeria. We’re going to be working on that problem, and working on that problem very, very hard, because we can’t allow that to happen.

Mr. President, thank you very much for being here. Thank you.

PRESIDENT BUHARI: Thank you, Mr. President, very much for inviting me. It’s a great honor. I’m very grateful for it.
Sadly, security is the main issue. We very grateful to the United States for agreeing to give us the aircraft we asked for — the spare parts. We are even more grateful for the physical presence of the United States military (inaudible) that are going to our institutions in Nigeria, and train them and go to the front, in the northeast, to see how they are performing, as an example of the training given to them.

So the commitment of the United States to get rid of terrorism across the world, we have firsthand experience of that, and we are very grateful for it.

The problem about the (inaudible) and jihadists in Nigeria is a very long, historical thing. But the state is most concerned — they know that the Nigerian jihadists never carry anything more than a stick, and occasionally a machete, to cut down foliage and give it to the (inaudible) and carrying AK-47s.

So I don’t think people should underrate what happened in Libya: Forty-three years of Qaddafi. People were recruited from the Sahel; they were caught — and nothing other than shoot and killed.

With the demise of Qaddafi, they moved to their countries, into their regions, and they carried away with them the only experience they have — trained using weapons. And that’s what is aggravating the situation.
We are doing our best to make sure we have stopped the cross-border and so on, and — to get the weapons from the (inaudible) and weapons in the region checked. But it’s going to take time, and the action by the United States in trying to see the end of ISIS has helped us a lot. Because Boko Haram in Nigeria at one time made a statement that they are loyal to ISIS.

Now that ISIS have virtually gone with the help of the United States, we are very grateful for that. And we are sure that we are still (inaudible) the situation and the security in Nigeria.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: We have very much decimated ISIS. Much has taken place over the last 12 months. But Boko Haram has been terrible. And how did you do with the young women that were kidnapped? How is that going?

PRESIDENT BUHARI: The Chibok girls and the Dapchi one — the Chibok one was before we came — 2014. But only a number of them — we recovered about 80 of them. But the Dapchi one, there were 106 that were kidnapped. We got 100 back. Four died; one is still held in captivity. And we are very grateful to the United Nations organization that is acting as (inaudible) between us and the kidnappers. And we haven’t given up. We are trying to get everybody back to join their families and their schools.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: A terrible problem. Mr. President, thank you very much, everybody.

PRESIDENT BUHARI: Thank you very much.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Thank you very much everybody.

Q Are you working on a deal on immigration?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Yeah.

A BBC documentary titled “Sweet Sweet Codeine” recently exposed the problem of codeine addiction amongst Nigerian youths and the drug dealers that fuel this addiction. In the documentary, a sales representative of Emzor Pharmaceuticals was caught on camera illegally selling codeine to the BBC’s undercover reporter and boasting about how the drugs that he was supplying them were “straight from the oven”.
