look my friends, the north has already stated her position on restructuring via the elrufai committee,go get your acts together n get ready for battle ahead instead of this time wasting, now let's see who are the educated enlightened ones n who are really the foolish ones. |
One thing you can not take away from the core north is deft political moves n organization this is what us clearly lacking in the south n amongst the Christian minorities of the north, now the north has clearly outline her position viz a viz her interest one would now expect the pro restructuring to quickly get their acts together n also present a common front to enhance a robust negotiation n resolutions but no what is likely the outcome would be unnecessary bickering n insults In the south while the Christian minorities in the north in their usual manner will be perambulating in a rudderless manner, at the end of the day the north will have her way while the so call very educated lot will be left empty handed, mourning n castigating each other foolishly. |
[quote author=Cyynthia post=60696521]If I say that the presidency is filled with maggots, it would look as if that I am hating. These people are hell bent in ensuring that southern Christians are intimidated/eradicated with their intention of establishing sharing law all over the country. The attack on Ipob is an attack on Igbos/Christians because, Igbos are 99.9℅ Christians and Ipob is ibo and ibo is Ipob because they ordered Sit at home order and everybody complied.Forget all these pretence as if the attack is targeted on Ipob only. They are gradually spreading their wings. Osun state and Kano recently declared public holidays celebrating Islamic whatever whatever in a secular state like Nigeria. They started with Ipob today, tomorrow is another group Once they are done with Igbos, Yorubas will be very easy because half of us are Muslims.. Igbos are those checkmating the northern and Islamic dominance in Nigeria because they are all Christians. They know that Ibos are very stubborn that's why they had to start with them, but ibo governors won't read the hand writing on the wall because they are busy struggling to protect their selfish interest(looting). If they succeed in dealing with Ibos, Islamization agenda will become easy to implement but God forbids. Sharia law is already in 12 states (Don't forget that Nigeria is a secular state). Look at the second picture I attached below. Head slammers are free to cry on my mentions as usual. well through of n said,it beat's my imagination when I see or hear Christians especially of the north support what is happening without remorse!, may be it's fear or ignorance or both but it's certainly very abnormal,it's like kanu never really understood Nigeria if not he would have seen the opportunity when they presented themselves n took a logical course. |
what are they really twitting about him?,I hope it's not about his cadaver like appearance or his gutter tone or some other mundane aspect of him,pls be bold n show us some of the non APC sponsored twits. |
I'm really sad,not because i completely agree with or support KANU,but because what has happen is simply a master stroke by those who feel they owe this country to muzzling up any challenge to their interests,I wonder if those who are jubilating has actually given a critical thought to the implications of this events. |
If only KANU had not allow ego to have a better of him n acted with sound judgement those who are laughing n pouring invectives on him would have been begging n courting him,now all the pro restructuring can only mourn the bitter loss of a golden opportunity on the folly of egocentrism n sentiments while the pro status quo celebrates inwardly n strategize on how to maintain their firm grip thus extending the endless hope upon hope. |
But I thought the APC said it's the looters that are sponsoring ipob, now it's some foreign countries abi,why cant the government sincerely get to the root cause of all the agitations n find a lasting n a generally acceptable solution to it for the sake of the country's unity, peace n progress. |
Way to go,this is what KANU n ipob should be doing |
yes wike,it's good for Nigeria to be united but pls let them know that true unity will only come when there is justice n equity. |
KANU really made a mistake, perhaps his understanding of Nigeria was fueled mainly by sentiments,if not he would have seen the opportunity in the cry for restructuring n key into it for a better result, imagine KANU liaison with the SW,SS n NC n giving restructuring as the only condition for ending the agitations while presenting an intellectual sound collective points or areas desiring restructuring but rather he let ego had a better part of him,now those who are ardently opposed to restructuring will move in to strangulate KANU n any future attempt to change the status quo against their wish. There is a Hausa proverb that " A tatauna tsokuwa don aya ta ji tsoro"I.e chew the gravel to scare the tiger nut.the move by buhari n the north against KANU is not just to stop KANU n the ibos but to send a clear message to any future kind attempt by any other group or persons.isn't it clear why the Fulani herdsmen attacks in Benue,Kaduna,n plateau have not been treated with this same kind of decisiveness.it baffles me when I see people supporting buhari without questioning but on deep reflection it occur to me that some may be aware of the agenda n happy while some are brainwashed n lack self opinion,n yet some are just scared n confused like my brothers of the northern Christian minorities. |
It's really a pity that so many people do not seems to decipher the agenda of the core north n Hausa/Fulani Muslim agenda in this country, throughout the history of Nigeria the north has always n continue to distort the country's history to suit them, presenting the muslim north as the only righteous, patriotic, honest n capable people to rule while others are selfish, corrupt n unpatriotic. we are often told in various northern sponsored or induced write ups how Ahmadu Bello n Tafawa Balewa were patriots while zik n Awo were tribalist, how Ironsi was stupid but murtala was brave, how shagari was clean but ekwueme was a thief, how buhari n yar'adua are honest but obasanjo n Johnathan are dubious n corrupt etc, even this book by Bolaji is just part of the continuous attempt to denigrate others as against the righteous n patriotic north, very unfortunately the very people who are so denigrated n scorned are often willing to not only accept this negative branding but ready to destroy their own to please the north for selfish reasons,Amaechi, oshiomole,Tinubu okorocha, ibikunle etc readily comes to mind here,it will not be surprising to see lot of praise n encomiums been heap on bolaji for his effort in continuation of the agenda.let anyone attempt writing a book or just an article chronicling the negativities of Ahmadu Bello, murtala or any of the northern leaders n see how the northern academia n intellectual caucus rise up spontaneously to defend their own,but is the north at any fault, for the rest of us it's really going to be a very long journey. |
APC are just too good at cooking up excuses to exonerate themselves n buck passed!,if you are aware of the so call illegal evacuations, why not take the appropriate measures instead of this grammatical inventions to paint yourselves with fake righteousness, you think we can't see through you, just keep fooling yourselves. |
paschu:Thank you very much for this detailed response, I don't know y those who support buhari n this government just believe that anything done by buhari n this government is right n must be accepted by all willy nilly, they are often so shamelessly quick to point at Johnathan n PDP as reference that one begins to wonder if the agenda of this government is change or revenge, it's now clear that despite her short comings,PDP was much better than this bunch of deceit, lies, hypocrisy n propaganda. |
Evaberry:look don't let insult you,what do you mean!?. |
I don't believe this narrative, with all the knowledge of the army trying to gain entrance into his compound KANU wouldn't be stupid to store all these stuff there, let the security not cook up indefensible evidence abeg,KANU took a wrong path to pursue a good cause but the government should have done much better, lying will only paint the government in worse light. |
Just imagine the tactless n arrogant response from adesina,so full of pride n feeling of righteousness,at least he could have thank obasanjo for the piece of advice with assurance that the government would give it due considerations, that wouldn't in any way make it mandatory for buhari to abide by it.I don't blame adesina anyway, obasanjo is ahead of buhari in every aspect of life but obasanjo in a bid to curry favour n Influence goes about shamelessly bowing to buhari, who would now fault adesina for interpreting that as acceptance of inferiority. |
Israeljones:so I must be an IBO man to not to support what is going on,see what goes around comes around, don't even mention hate speech where buhari issue is talked about!,I'm a northern Christian minority with lot of bitter experience in this country, if you have not seen or tasted the Injustices, I have OK, so even while you laugh at the Igbo's pls take a moment n ask yourself some critical questions, what goes around comes around, tomorrow is unknown. |
tsdarkside:my friend you are wrong to assumed that who ever is against what is going on must be IBO,I don't know your experiences in this country but I have seen enough to speak out against things like this,I don't have to be IBO,you can hurl all the insults you want,it won't change my view, but I pray you don't become a victim of the bitter injustice in the country you will sure sing a different song, just grow up OK. |
Israeljones:The problem with you buhari supporters is you don't see any wrong in his actions whatsoever, when obasanjo used the state of emergency to removed some governors to instill sanity your type condemned him for acts of illegality but here you are justifying what is clearly wrong by an established law,if the president really want to ensure unity of the country then let him simply be fair to all n listen to the complaints n call for restructuring, if possible organised a national debate were both sides should be challenged to table their views towards building a national consensus and action on the matter, and you would see all the agitations naturally fade out, this use of brutal force may appear effective now but in the long run we may just be postponing the doomsday. |
KANU n ipob made terrible mistakes, yes there is Injustice in the country especially the Hausa/Fulani domination, discriminations, suppression n double standards in various spheres of government therefore agitations for a positive Change is valid but needs to be carefully n tactically pursued not by haphazard approach because of the strategic interest involved, the wide spread call for restructuring offered a very good opportunity for kanu ipob to key Into n pursue a better deal for the Igbo's n everyone after all a fairly n just united Nigeria certainly offers enormous opportunities for the citizens, but kanu would have none of it,I'm afraid a very good opportunity has just been lost on a platter of poor vision n ego. |
To have peace is good but sometimes it's also good to established facts for posterity, it's highly unlikely for Igbo's to attack Hausa's first in jos over Biafra so what actually made the Hausa to attack or fight back the Igbo's in jos?,the plateau people should think deeply about the unfolding events in their dormain and act wisely because as I see it's, places like plateau, Benue, nasarawa n taraba with sizable Christian minority population n strong feelings for restructuring n resistance to northern domination are most likely to be skillfully n tactically sounded out in any dispute between the core north n any other part of the country to gauge their side of inclination so as to counteract them appropriately. when it comes to political manipulations the core north are not to be underrated or not giving a serious analytical thoughts. |
Ipob attacked n kill policemen at a military check point!, what sort of story is this?, well it's said that, when you want to kill a dog, you first give it a bad name.this narrative simply don't add up. |
Hausa attacking Igbo's in jos of all places!?,there is a Hausa proverb that"a tatauna tsokuwa don't aya ta ji tsoro",the people of plateau should be wise to prevent their state from been turn to battle zone, jos has been a long time target of the Hausa/Fulani Muslims for domination, the ultimate target here is not the Igbo's alone, plateau people should be wise.y is the clashes not in sokoto, gusau zarua katsina or kano?,KANU n IPOB made mistakes in their pursuit of justice but me I will never allied with the Hausa/Fulani in a situation like this,my view is based on personal experiences n history. the northern minorities especially the Christians of the middle belt should be very be thoughtful of whatever actions they take in the present situation using history as a beacon.one Nigeria is good but let one Nigeria be for all. |
Hausa attacking Igbo's in jos of all places!?,there is a Hausa proverb that"a tatauna tsokuwa don't aya ta hi tsoro",the people of plateau should be wise to prevent their state from been turn to battle zone, jos has been a long time target of the Hausa/Fulani Muslims for domination, the ultimate target here is not the Igbo's alone, plateau people should be wise.y is the clashes not in sokoti, gusau or katsina or kano?,KANU n IPOB made mistakes in their pursuit of justice but me I will never allied with the Hausa/Fulani in a situation like this,my view is based on personal experiences n history. the northern minorities especially the Christians of the middle belt should be very be thoughtful of whatever actions they take in the present situation using history as a beacon.one Nigeria is good but let one Nigeria be for all. |
we may be laughing at the Igbo's today but let's remember that if we all keep quiet n the Igbo's are crushed without qualms then the rest of us should be prepared to remained silent forever,I'm a Christian minority from north central, school n worked in the far north for years I'm writing from experience, every citizen would want to live in a united peaceful country with a true feeling of justice n a Sense of belonging but certainly no one likes injustice, one may be force to keep mute due to circumstances but definitely not happy, the Igbo's have just been the outspoken among the lot but so many others are also feeling very bitter about the Injustice In the country albeit quietly, therefore we should not be too happy to jubilate over what is happening in the SE,yes KANU made a mistake in his approach n methodology out looking the window of opportunities the call for restructuring presents which he could have easily keyed into but the attitude of the core north n buhari to the restructuring question even made things worse this is In addition to the posture of this government to the SE for not supporting APC n buhari during the elections, but the president should be a healing factor, well time shall tell. |
Hahahahhaaaaah APC!,these were the same refineries Gej gave contract for comprehensive TAM that would have been completed by 2016,immediately APC n buhari came to power the TAM was term an avenue of corruption n stopped, few weeks later we were told the refineries has been fixed using local hands saving enormous money but since then they have failed to operate at any reasonable capacity now ironically APC want to go back to their vomit while using beautiful grammar to appear smart, very soon Nigerians will also get to know that the so call subsidy removal by this government is a complete farse!,as subsidy is still been paid with attendant corruption but neatly swept under the carpet using propaganda. |
But pls I need to ask,if you are not involved in something illegal or shameful, is it an offense to be recorded in a public event?,openness would ordinarily win support for the army but this kind of unnecessary brute force will do the opposite, good thing the army authorities promised to take corrective actions even though very doubtful n more if an after thought. |
peace is not the absence of conflict but the the prevalence of justice n equity, if force were so effective a solution, USSR,Yugoslavia, Sudan would have been one country today,it is Injustice that breed n fuels conflict, take out the injustice n peace will come naturally simple, but it's surprising how some people take so much joy n pride in suppressing others with no feeling of remorse. |
A simple acceptance by the government to look into the various agitations in the country n willingness to positively consider the wide call for restructuring would nip all these unnecessary tension in the country but to the buharia, buhari is perfect n knows it all!!,those talking of war war n how the Igbo's would be crushed should think deeply, in the event of war I doubt much if it will be Nigeria vs Biafra again, as many parts of the country are also frustrated right now,if we must be one then let's truly be one simple. |
