What I can deduced from the fuel saga is that due to high dollar rate n scarcity couple with government opaque subsidy removal the importation of fuel has been left solely for the government via the Nnpc who are secretly paying subsidies on the imported fuel in a fake bid to keep prices stable n use that as a political achievement, certainly the burden was going to unbearable in the long run hence the scarcity we are witnessing now,APC is never truthful about the fuel situation in the country just using all sort of gimmicks to deceive Nigerians, at the present dollar/naira rate it's impossible to import fuel n sell at #145/l to make profit, nobody is asking questions on how the extra revenue above the budget benchmark for fuel is been used,APC accused PDP if using govt funds for campaign,in a bid to appear superficially clean of govt funds in 2019 the APC is devising various deceptive ways of siphoning n a cumulating illicit funds while presenting herself n Buhari as a saint as is seen in the ongoing documentary on various media,if we Nigerians can not see through the emptiness of Buhari/APC n make amends at the right time then we should only blame ourselves.

This means all the previous talks of nnpc having enough reserve to last for weeks was all lies, same as the excuse that independent marketers n depot operators hoarding fuel is also a lie,as the sole importer of products now can the nnpc,Buhari/APC pls tell Nigerians what the landing cost of the products is,how much is government selling to the marketers, is any subsidy still been paid or not,how is the fuel revenue above budget benchmark been accounted for n managed.let's see the true
state of the fuel situation in Nigeria viz a viz the governments so call honesty n transparency.

Just use your usual line,"the present fuel scarcity is cause by the unpatriotic actions of misguided PDP elements "your gullible supporters will easily understand n accept it without asking questions.

Thank you very much,this is exactly what I have been saying on this forum all along,Buhari/APC has never been truthful with the subsidy issue,the government has been deceiving Nigerians all along while cajoling the stake holders into towing their line of action,due to rapid changes in market mechanism n the Foolishness of government policies, the deception couldn't hold n the stake holders couldn't take it anymore, the murmurings has been on for sometimes now n any close watcher wouldn't be surprised by the scarcity.

The government has never been sincere about the subsidy issue at all,their abracadabra just got busted n the resultant effect is the fuel scarcity.Buhari/APC have always try to be clever by half,now it appears their actions are now on a boomerang mode,what a life!.

If the PDP really want to win the 2019 elections,first they need to assure the SW of a meaningful stake in their future hoped government by guaranteeing them at least the Senate presidency to compensate them for loosing out of the party chairmanship, then pick a SE vp,the SE can choose the most preferred candidate amongst themselves but my choice will be obi,then there has to be a concrete evidenced agreement for the northern president preferably of NE zone to do a single term so that the SE can have a shot at the presidency by 2023,the issue of a SE president will surely be a big deciding factor in the 2019 elections,I hope the PDP gets it right.

personally I'm not surprised one bit by this fuel scarcity cos any body that have followed the fuel situation in Nigeria closely will know that the Apc/ Buhari government is not been sincere with Nigerians over the fuel issue,the importers n marketers have just ran out of patience with the deceptions of the government, it's unfortunate they choose this very important period to burst their dissatisfactions n frustrations,just ask yourselves,at what rate was forex promised the dealers as part if subsidy removal n what is the rate if forex now?,how are the dealers making profits to keep afloat n pay back their bank debts?,it's wuruwuru all along,it has simply gotten to the elastic limit.

personally n I know many others wished for pdp to get it right with this convention to stand a solid chance against APC in 2019,but as it turn out I think the chance may be there but not so solid now.APC has got NW,PDP has got SS n more of SE,with a NE presidential candidate PDP would stand a good chance in NE,NC would also be a fertile ground, therefore with a SW chairman PDP would have gotten a good chance in the SW too.but now except by miracle the SW is likely to abandoned PDP giving APC a field day there, this will accentuate the confusion n doubts in NC n NE giving the APC the free way to muscle into those zones, frankly I doubt much if the PDP can really stand the APC with this SS chairmanship starting with ekiti elections next year.or what do you think?.
