You mentioned please help a brother to survive, are you a brother, huh shocked
Okay these pipes are very much needed in the Oil industry and also domestic markets, do your research online, and you will see. The market is huge if you know the right source to channel the product it is always better to ask the factory to build to the market specification. Just go to your local market where they sell kitchen and toilet stuff and i am sure you will get some good interests, if you need me to partner with you get in touch, wink

How much will you pay thanks your last price + are you using it over there
PhonesRe: Browsing With An Iphone by poske(m): 1:05am On Feb 25, 2008
The first question is does yur iPhone work in nigeri, if it does not work then you need to unlock it please dont ask me where. Secoundly if you need to browse just go to the wifi settings and you can browse the thing is that you need WIFI available where you are, it is not like browsing using gprs. So you get the gist,

Why do people buy the iphone: you may just buy the ITOUCH it will do exactly the same job without the phone utility. The iphone has a touch sensitive screen, so imagine you are talking and your ear touches the face of the phone binko you ring off the phone. Okay if you say you will avoid that by putting on an ear phone. Imagine your phone suddenly rings the way to conveNiently answer it, is by scrambling over your tangled ear phones (imagine what flasher will do to ur life). Atleast if it had bluetooth this would have been avoided.

So what i am trying to say is just buy itouch and you get all the features ipod/browsing except phonecall for that you use your normal brick phone at least you can afford to drop it several times  grin grin

BusinessRe: Between The Telecomms And Agric. Sector! by poske(m): 11:21pm On Jan 28, 2008
Telecom
This sector is much cheaper to enter, think about it most of your asset is based on traffic, so all you need is equipment to capture that traffic and then license to protect you legally some fancy adverts and you are good to go.

Agriculture
In agriculture first and foremost you do not make money on the first day, it takes time. Now during that time you could easily lose everything based on pests or weather e.t.c Not the mention the crippling amount of money needed to move a stone in this sector.

Finally in a recession- economy we will continue to eat but make less calls. So agriculture is a much safer investment when you exclude natural problems. Hey i feel a lot of naija folks should be farming, especially all those ladies selling vouchers what a waist of quality labour.
BusinessRe: What Do You Trade And Why by poske(m): 1:08am On Jan 20, 2008
Yeah i feel you, too much info to crunch when you need liquidity. A lot of the problem is the way people where thought to trade. There is this "saying you are only as good as your teacher", See why dont you read up hedging that can result in a fixed income every week/month with minimal risk. If you do your research you will come up with something.

All the best bro, i used to be like that when i first started but when i started learning hedging and how it can produce a fixed income. I beGAN to become much more relaxed in the market, and was now able to think with my brain and not my heart, hA HA HA smiley

InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills Information Wanted by poske(m): 1:58am On Oct 23, 2007
maybe i should open my brokerage and make some bucks from this thing at the same time invest in it. I always wonder why brokers dont direct people to these kind of investments.

Anyway for those who need to know more should go and ask them at access bank, i do not have any investment in it yet so, but it is a definate opportunity and i look forward to do it when i have the funds.

@otox well you dey naija why dont u go and ask them, @cranvill nothing in life is guaranteed, life is about believe, hope and risk management. Imagine the amount of people dumbing money into the Nigerian stock market, they never stop to ask if this paper am buying is wothuh? e.t.c anyway likewise govt bonds anything can happen. But stocks are at least 100times more volatile than bonds. That is why wise investors use it to hedge their portfolios, anyway just my 2 cents,

InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills Information Wanted by poske(m): 1:54am On Oct 14, 2007
Why dont you go and ask the fellows at access bank. shocked They are dropping 10% for a 3mth coupon. I believe these investments are much better than investing in stocks in general its just that the average man on the street is not well huh informed about this alternative risk investment. And should be used to balance out or hedge any portfolio. I posted something like this and no one seamed to know what i was talking about, i called it money machine. Because if you work out a good compound interest on them they could turn out to be your own personal (ATM) cashpoint. grin cheesy no need for yahoo, wink after a continous 5yr investment it just spirals out of control as far as the asset continues to perform. Right now it has out performed the USdollar in the past 2yrs. Although i have not compared it to local inflation that will be the test. Anyway all i need is for it to outperform gold then we know we are talking cool Hola at me if you need to discuss this one to one, smiley
InvestmentNigerian Bonds (money Machine) by poske(op): 2:35am On Oct 09, 2007
Hello,
Please i need more info on this. i hear access bank is offering 3months maturity bonds For 10%. Does this mean that if i invest N100K into it, and compound it over 5yrs i will get ? ?? what, please i need assistance from those that did compound interest in primary 6. Ha ha ha. grin

http://www.accessbankplc.com/bonds.cfm?id=77

Also can i easily cash my bond out if i do not want to reinvest it(if possible online). Is this better than investing in shares or can it be used as a hedge/insurance for your share portfolio. I can see that these bonds have out-performed the US$ but am not sure about the local inflation. Thanks, Let me also have your alternative investment strategy that can outperform this, month on month year on year cool wink

BusinessRe: Robert Kiyosaki: His 'Rich Dad' Does 'Not Exist'? by poske(m): 8:28pm On Aug 04, 2007
Okay Guys in the mean time i have access to the game CashFlow. It is an unbelievable game. It simulates real life finacial descions to detail. In the game if you give to Charity you start to use 2 dice instead of one which increases your speed by 100%. Also if you do not ask for your salary you miss it, if you depend only on your salary you will start to see how long it will take to reach your life ambition. Also if you decide to buy properties immediately b4 doing small deals you may run bankrupt b4 the value of the property increases.

SO WHY WILL RK TELL YOU WHO RICH DAD IS ERGGGGHHH WHY! SO YOU GO AND MEET HIM,

BusinessRe: Robert Kiyosaki: His 'Rich Dad' Does 'Not Exist'? by poske(m): 10:41pm On Jul 31, 2007
Hey Guys,
From what i have seen there are some people who just enjoy arguments. And i will not devote my time to them thankyou. Please can we overlook if the story is real or fake. See if i give you my own story even folks that were hanging out with me in the early days will not believe me. Its just my story and not yours @dolly, Mr Reed e.t.c

Okay i have listened to the tape, and having leaved in and outside Nigeria, i can assure you that the concept of what is called the rat race is a real disease. As of today the only person that has clearly put the cure into a book is Robert.K in the contest of his rich dad , it was someone who did not have to work but employed people. And so grew his business, he did not have to be a millionaire in his life time but left something his kids could turn into millions.

Anyway let me shed more light, on the situation of the "ratrace" and Nigeria, as companies keep on growing (as we can see in the NSE) they will eventually need more workers, these are the people who will or their kids will eventually be caursed by the ratrace syndrome. In other not to fall into that shoe read the book and pray. I rest my case,
BusinessRe: Any One With Alternative For Power Supply? by poske(m): 3:55am On Jul 28, 2007
Hey Guys,
It is one thing that you need power to run your laptop and printer and it is another thing that you need power to run your Deep freezer, iron and washing machine. See Solar is by far more expensive than Generator and if care is not taken "it does not do exactly what it says on the tin". I have tried solar in Nigeria and these were the problems i faced.

(1) You need a qualifed electrician to wire up the whole stuff accurately.

(2) The cost of the following far exceeded the cost of a generator that will supply the equivalent energy.
a) solar panel b) inverter c) energy storage battery. d) monitoring and cut flow device.

(3) Everyone claims we have abundant sunlight is that really through; the solar panel is not interested in
intesity but is interested in the U.V component of sun. So this means how long do we have exposure to
sunlight in Nigeria
, it is typically 10.5hrs on a good day. In many other non equitorial regions it can reach up to
15hrs in some seasons.
That means we must have very good battery storage capacity. Which brings me to the last point ??

(4) Most of the energy is drainned out over night and before the solar recharges the batteries we are talking
about 10a.m the next morning this compounds the problem of depending on only solar for your energy
requirement.

Conclusion: Is that Solar is an alternative when you remove investment costs, all though in the long term the fuel and maintenance costs of a generator will exceed the cost of a solar system but it will have to be over a period of 2yrs. shocked

Let me know if you have any Solar projects and i may be able to point you in the right direction. cheesy
BusinessRe: UK Relocation: I Need Business Ideas by poske(m): 2:59am On Jul 28, 2007
@Me Sharon

Please give us feedback on how things have gone. I personally feel you would have joined the I.T contracting market. one major thing a lot of people dont understand in the U.K is your leaving costs/expenses/taxes and bills. See that Cleaner Guy had to parasite someone for 1yr or so and then saved £5K then launch into business (cleaning). One thing am sure is that the people working for him do not have papers(i may be wrong) and once he is caught he will pay fines that will not only cripple his business but will,

There are loads of opportunities here but its all about beign able to maintain it, in such a way that it grows from a liability to a long term dependable asset generating income. (Low risk low and slow return)

In Nigeria you got a situation that is high risk and high fast return. So the first question is to ask what type of investor you are then you will be on your way to,
