Lightning will strike twice in history.Louis XVI of France,an irresponsible monarch ,was executed in the wake of the French Revolution in 1789.This king, trying to stand in the way of this move may become an easy target to be run over when the whole plan starts to boil- he'll be seen largely as a cog.

What Nigeria is for crying is restructuring and some individuals hate it with passion because their benefits lie in the confused state of Nigeria.

I get your point but it isn't just a muslim vs christian problem as most Yoruba extended families are mixed religion.
There are people fuelling crisis underground. Most parents and kids don't care what other students wear to school until some
bigot preacher starts spreading hate.

Stop responding to that fool. Can't you see that they are not Yorubas? They are only trying to sabotage our efforts to get our nation by pretending to be disgruntled Yorubas. Stop wasting your time responding to them unless we unleash heavy curses upon them.

Would you believe my uncle who's a Christian lives with us harbors unimaginable hatred against Muslims? He hides it with "Fulani" whenever issues of Hijab comes out, he's on Facebook typing and spreading hate. I don't have Christians, I want a good life but I'm a Muslim and I wouldn't want my rights to be trampled upon. Christians can do whatever they wanna do, but would they allow Muslims? I highly doubt it because the Christians in Yorùbá land are known to frustrate the Muslims, ordinary Hijab these people hate to see our kids wear.

Now imagine sharing a country with such bigoted folks, I can't bro

I'm a Yorùbá Muslim and I don't support this their republic. They're all shouting "Fulanis" but after getting rid of the Fulanis Yorùbá Muslims would be next, if we demand anything they'll tag us as fulanis or extremists. I can't support a republic where we would be oppressed, all the issues with Hijab have always been with Yorùbá Christians. If they can't tolerate Hijab, do you think they'll tolerate the Muslims in general when they demand for their rights?

grin grin grin

One was calling me names and immediately assumed tribe and religion on the other thread because I ask serious questions about the viability of an dictatorship republic ruled by touts such as Igboho.

Igboho was a PDP tout, he's supported by the likes of Fani Kayode who were one of the people that destroyed this country. If we have a Yorùbá nation, these same people would have a stake and we back to square one

What happened to Oba of Lagos will be child's play to what will happen to him. Mark my words here.

In Yorubaland of old, when a king misbehaves, we, the people present a covered calabash to the king to open. Once he opens it, that is certain death.

Wasn't this skunk that said he was an emir? It gets me how people still take these traditional clowns seriously. They are part of Nigeria's problems as they prefer maintaining this status quo, as it favours them.

Coronabirus:

You can't dream of building country based on religious bigotry & fanaticism. Is it not obvious that only Yoruba Christians are advocating this bigotic movement? You can't be subjugating others religious right and expect thm to support a movement that will further deteriorate their agony and abuse of their right.
In one time in history after civil war, arms spread all over south. Most arm robbers in Nigeria were either Yorubas or Benin people and humbly nobody coded them with ethnic names but they were all seen as criminals. North was safe, people only hear about arm robbery in the far south but in less than a decade they're in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria perpetrating their robbery and up till now arm robbery is being a business in Nigeria to many criminals.
So, why now do suddenly criminalise Fulani tribe, after Endsars there were criminals all over SW and they are indigenes but suddenly you exonerate your people and accuse Fulani for every crime ur people commit.
You opposed FG and created Amotekoun & claimed they'll secure your land, you even went to some extent to use formalities and exclude many Muslims from participating in the security network because of sinister only known to u. Use the security network and catch all suspected Fulani criminals with justice and fairness, deal with them and stop this nonsense that is obvious to us long before Igboho become adult. We are the most sensitive Nigerians, what ever body language u use we'll understand it fully.
If u want subjugate Muslims then your struggle will definitely take another dimension. Muslim Akul Muslim!
Fulani terrorists, your divide and rule tactics is no longer working.
Foolish unity beggar

Well, your case seems to be different. My aunt, a muslim actually raised the children of her sister a christian.
She used to punish them whenever they are late from church. There are bigots but they are not as many as
we think. They just make the loudest noise.

I am not religious but I abhor bigotry coming from any side. A country that will be based on bigotry is no country at all.

It's unfortunate that this is turning to religious issues, with the killing by the Fulanis I'm surprised that any Yoruba either muslim or Christian will support this evil in our region anyway time will tell another book haram thing is about to start in the south west

That is a faulty generalization........Lets not get deceived ......Only the elites and the people benefitting from the current arrangement are not supporting Oduduwa.....Dont get caught in the web of division and disagreement set by the elite, no gawk am o, only 2 tribes in Nigeria....the rulers/beneficiaries of the current system AND the governed/masses/others ....if u must know lots of Yoruba pastors that receive big gifts n donations from people in governement are not in support of Oduduwa or division or whatever

I have no problem with Igboho's PDP roots because some undesirable people can be used for good sometimes.
But some of his utterances took me aback. The most painful one was the security meeting that was held in Ibadan.
Rather than focus on security, it was hijacked for secessionist agenda by people that shouldn't have been there in the first place
with threats issued against dissenters.

He can say that, after all he is not facing what the ordinary masses are facing. His children are abroad enjoying good governance. He too is living fine. But laslas...his statement is inconsequential to the plans the youth have. He is a nobody.
