Fidelity bank beats most banks in dividend payout compared to it's price currently. Only zenith is above it.

With these reports out in one day, I wonder how today's trading will look like.

Which stock should one watch out for?

Which one will be a good buy for dividend and short term.

DD will be applied.

Thank you @yMcy56 for your selfless contributions here..we appreciate you..is UACN paying N1.20k dividend I see a special dividend in the report...please any comments on this? The price should be going north if I’m not missing anything here...pls elders in the house what’s your viewpoint on UACN based on this print...thanks in advance...

The dividend of 1.20 is 65kobo normal and 55kobo proceeds from their divestment moves. At current price of N9 yield is 13% not bad but the 55kobo will not always be there as the name implies it is special. So without any special sales their dividend is 65kobo which gives 7% yield.
For the conservatives that is fair.

Note also that UACN is unbundling it's share of Updcreits. 226 reits for every 1,000units of UACN subject to regulatory and shareholders approval

Sorry for late response.
ACCESS - currently declaring bonus @ below 8........
*updated* just watch of for dumping and when it hits support, you can key-in.

FIDELITY: I said it, that Fidelity will one day take it's position back as the tier 2 leader.......seems the time has come. Where is the person arguing it that time? cheesy

UACN: Full bid @9.90
@Onegentleguy is justified here eventually.
Chai!! UACN where are thy enemies? grin

This Market can be so unpredictable.........
If I were the one and not seated in the bus yet I won't join them to rush anyway. I'll just be patient and take my time.

@Emmasoft already did justice to your inquiry.
Total dividend = N1.20
65kobo normal 2020 fye dividend + 55kobo special dividend (from sale of UAC-PROP arm possibly).

See if you can also get UACN below 10.
I was calling attention to this UACN's body language in the market before now.

NB: Not in any way claiming any prediction on UACN, I never predict am........just referring to my normal market observation........before someone will come out and say Mcy is taking glory for UACN.

We give it to OGG, AGBA and this guy......make I check the moniker again...

Can be very painful, especially if someone just disposed a stock and it starts rallying.
I hope Peter and @brokerharuna didn't miss out too......cos they noised the stock here so much.

SEC or NSE should wake up to its responsibility. If Guinness comes out with anything extra ordinary in its result. Then know it that before this results get to the public it is usually compromised, friends and family sees the results. It just happened with uacn . That is why you see the demand for such share keep going up both in price/quantity.This country is just too corrupt.Guinness will confirm my allegation. We watch

Yeah very well copied. Thank you @ Emmasoft for your clarification there...UACN is a significant part of my portfolio even though entry price is on the high side... about N9. Will keep an eye on events over the next few market days, would you hold or sell? medium term view in mind with current turnaround going on here and Reit shares delcaration @yMcy56 @Emmasoft @ all of our other esteemed experts in the house....cheers

would be nice to form an investment club to mop up universal insurance plc at 20kobo. we can buy the stock individually, but with consensus agreement.

We need to form shareholders association and dislodge all these old papa and mama from the boards of quoted companies as well as the audit committees.

Don't Sell your UACN.
If to say you have much fund or asked before now, someone like me would have told you to buy more at cheaper price to average down your cost price.
This UACN relief is long overdue.
Like it was said here before, UACN will be improving going forward......their loss arm has been disposed off, so expect more turnaround from that quarter ......all things been equal.
**NB: Final decision is yours**
