Biafran4life: Just to differ a little. Guinness year ends in June 30. So, I am not very sure it's about result now because their resultswill not likely be out until around Aug/Sep. May be any other reason though. |

exactly, thats the main goal. we can do it. some of these stocks are severely undervalued, controlling 10% of any these companies gives us a strong leverage in influencing board decision. samguru: |

Biafran4life:Well said. These results gets to some people before it's finalized or submitted at all. Quite a lot of these going on. Where I suspected UACN for instance, was a situation where offers far outweighed bids, yet some people were buying at market price. NSE and SEC just needed to wake up to their responsibilities. See a situation where Union Diagnostic is supposed to make pay off arrangement within certain days but has extended to months now. SEC now replied me that they'll contact First Registrar and revert. Can you imagine? May God help us. 3 Likes |

Biafran4life: This is what I have been saying and will continue to. There are insiders leaking out information. Reports are being prepared by human beings who have family and friends. Even the staff of the accounting firms didn't sign oaths of secrecy. If I have opportunities of getting reports before release, I will be in position to laugh always. 3 Likes |

Biafran4life: Hello, I think you are coming to a hasty and wrong conclusion. Did you look at the second quarter result for Guinness? Did you find out what made it's share price to crash so low? Firstly at the end of every quarter there is always a rally in share price of most stocks. For Guinness the quarter that just ended is its 3rd quarter. One of the factors that affected the business was covid 19 lock downs, clubs, parties, weddings, burials were reduced most of last year and especially during Christmas when they were meant to make a lot of turnover/sales. For last quarter most of the restrictions are easing so it is expected that there would be improved turnover going forward. A combination of these factors and looking at its reports should give you an indication of where the share price is going. 4 Likes |

Dum20:The quarterly results for brewery companies have not been good based on many factors we have discussed here.Even the leader in that sector result for the yr was not fantastic.Guinnes beer section has been bad even before covid 19.This made them call back through products from major distributor to balance credit facilities which showed as receiveables in thr book 1 Like |

Someone here sold all his landed properties to buy UACN late last year. Your new moniker should be GODWIN. . In fact, your village king needs to give you a grand welcome on your next visit. Good job! I hope sir Agbaloweri did not sell all the UACN that he accumulated during the year low. NSE is fascinating! 4 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dum20: 1:50pm On Apr 01, 2021 |
Biafran4life: I am just saying that most of those factors that led to it's price crash do they still exist? The major factors that impacted its share price was devaluation, covid 19 restrictions. As we speak those factors have been factored in and seem not to exist anymore. To me it is not a matter of insider information but information that is available to all, in addition to speculation is also at work here too. |

moneymanager: There has always been a caveat. At least yMCy56 always said you should do ur due diligence; DD. We have also explained here that whether prices are going up or down, they both present opportunities, either to sell or buy or average down. Listen, I hold substantial amount of GT shares and i am presently hoping it goes down so that i can average down. If my prayers are not answered and it goes up, then profit still for me. 7 Likes |
