Well, me and my baby reside in different states, we met during my undergrad days. I finished and moved back to Lagos, she stayed behind with her family. We remained friends for years, and started dating just a year ago. Infact, today is our first anniversary. Communication has been strong and we reconcile almost as immediately as we have our differences. The relationship is very healthy too. I trust her, because I feel it's the right thing to do and I believe she trusts me too.
No relationship is perfect, be it long distance or "short distance" relationship, understanding matters the most, and "love conquers all"

People doing Long distance relationship are decieving themselves. Reason being that one of them is going to be cheating while the other will be sheepishly behaving.

Mistrust from your part? The lady I'm getting married to soon, we've been dating for 5yrs now n only see each others once in a year. She's in abj while I'm in lagos. Distance relationship have been my thing right from time anyway. U Av time to focus on yourself and anytime you meet it's a if it shouldn't end

It worked for some while others didn't scale through.. LDR is not meant for those that gets controlled by the flesh easily..
Just have an open communication and be honest at all times and if you're both meant to be together, it would work out.

One thing about long distance relationship is communication and communication, honestly it's not really that easy for me but I have to, I spent nothing less than 2k daily on call.. Just to keep the communication between us going, I call morning and night and I make sure I spent at least 1 hour on phone gisting about everything not to talk about online chatting when we're both free and that's been helping us going forward since we met each other some years back, and also trust. When you're in long distance relationship, you'll lose trust sometimes because you'll keep guessing why is she not picking up her calls and other stuff like that, but as the time goes by I keep trying to forget about such things, I just like her and trying everything possible to make it work out, but honestly it's not been that easy but if you really believe in it, you'll try everything possible to make it work out

I'm currently in a long distance relationship (2 months now).
