There are two types of installation, we do either fixing on block walls when the client is not doing concrete work or fixed on wall so that roof beam will be casted with it.

why should one spend extra to cast a beam when it can be done without? What's the difference?

sir,
The roof beam is a normal thing for proper building procedure, it helps to hold the building together but most people use the lintel to chain the building together to avoid doing a roof beam.
The polystyrene parapet doesn't have weight so it can stay on block work just as seen in the attached.

Over time, is it possible for the Styrofoam on the block work to loosen, say the binding wire rusts?

yes that is why we use galvanized binding wire which life span is longer than normal binding wire and the poly plaster also helps to hold it to the wall.
the best is when it is casted with the roof beam.

Most of this thread is focused on parapet fascia, don't u handle ceilings? I have seen some polystyrene ceilings and i must say one cannot tell the difference from POP.

If you handle can we get like a ball park estimate of what it will take to cover a standard sitting room

You are not getting my inquiry sir, you know what one can consider a standard sitting room, you are in the business. Just give me a ballpark quotation of what it takes to put a ceiling over a standard sitting room. I have noticed you avoid making your costs public and that's not good advertising, also you are selling polystyrene as a cheaper alternative to the others so lets see the cost savings

sir,
The reason we avoid cost and phone no display is because a lot of fraudulent people are online and they use people's profile to scam people, we were almost a victim but thank GOD a vigilant and good nairalander sent in a message to verify if we know about this transaction and phone nos.
In terms of cost the difference in POP ceiling and Polystyrene ceiling is not much but it has more advantage.
1) it helps to prevents loss of energy within an area it is used
2) it prevents water leakage from leaking roof into the building and doesn't draw maps caused by water leakage.
3) it reduce noise transmission better than POP materials.

The raining season is coming in gradually, POP ceiling helps to prevent water leakage from the roof to destroy your ceiling. it doesn't draw maps like normal POP and holds the water from getting into the building.

looks as if it is long we updated with pictures of work, guess we need to show more on buildings with roof already installed on them.
