You are not making sense is this.

What is sin? It is disobedience registered against God's own commandments, not some arbitrary Mark somewhere. And the moment you intend in your heart to disobey God, you have already committed sin against God. So, from that we know what God says is sin and it is by not doing that that we know that we are of God. This is not some complicated formula, and it is Truth that is not hidden.

As for masturbation, it is not listed as sin by Jesus Christ. Instead, what Jesus Christ says is that the Lust in one's heart is instead sin. So it is the moment you lust in your heart that you have sinned. Any actions you engage in afterwards comes after the sin has already been recorded against you.

The problem I see with this generation, just like the many generations before them is that everyone continues to choose ignorance even when information is placed right before them. Jesus Christ said that it is when you know the Truth of God, His very teachings and commandments, and obey this truth, that you can indeed be made free from the clutches of sin, even the mental hold it has on you, from sin, not before.

Jesus Christ was accused of being a glutton and a drunk... yet He didn't stop to labeling them sins .

Sin is disobedience of God's given commandments as it is carried out in defiance of God's own Law. And since God gave no rules regarding how much one can eat in a sitting, it means gluttony is not a sin at all against God.

Sin does not have to do with the harming of the human body..that body of yours is not held in such high esteem by God as many like to pretend. So, sin is not defined as that which harm your bodies but instead that which stands contrary to the Law of God.

Now 1 John 5:17 says 'All unrighteousness is a sin' so the question you ask yourself is, is it right to take that will affect you reasoning and health negatively? Answer is no, since is not right, is a sin. Smoking is like trying to commit suicide, which is a sin.

I understand that a lot of you seem to attach sin and its definition to your bodies, the same bodies that Jesus Christ Himself commands that you be willing to maim(pluck out your eyes/cut off your limbs if it causes you to sin etc.) In order to avoid sin and hell. But the Truth of God is that sin is not about your body but instead has to do with disobedience of God's stated commandments.
