Top teams in the EPL are now using a striker who can play outside the box. City. Man United. Leicester. Liverpool. Chelsea, etc.

The situation is similar in La Liga and the Bundesliga, although to a lesser extent. I think Inter is the only top team with a 9 who isn’t good at team play in serie A.

As long as he’s providing assists and creating chances, why not? It makes it more difficult for the opponent to stop you if your striker is partnering well with other forwards and goals are coming from everywhere. They won’t know who to mark!

Exactly. Most fox in the box and chicharito kinda striker at fast disappearing now. I think even lukaku at serie A(with the few games I watched) is better with his team play compared to his man u days, due to how serie A is a slow-tempo league. But aside that, no modern top team will accommodate a striker that's lazy just because he can score
