Ibadan will line up where major cities in Africa is and in Nigeria, the city is in the class of Lagos, Sokoto,Kano, Enugu, etc.

If you want to know Ibadan, go there and seek data's about her economy and other statistics and stop relying on what you see while peeping out of your vehicle's window, those views does not account for 25% of Ibadan.

You can ask non indigenous business people here who are investing and developing their businesses there, if they do not economise with the truth, they will make you understand that Ibadan ranks higher than you rating it.

I once told a Ugandan guy that in Naija we visit our villages for christmas etc, the guy was like ''huh? ...which village?'' He said in Uganda the villages were deserted, undeveloped, with only a few poor old people in mud huts. Most Ugandans don't even know where their so-called village is, he said, with their parents or grandparents having 'escaped' from there long ago.

In Naija villages we have banks, schools, electricity, tarred roads, mansions, markets filled with goods. Bobo said nothing like that in Uganda. Kampala or nothing.

Senegal, been there, first the positives, I really like the weather, they are very peaceful people, the law there works better than in Nigeria, power and water supply is constant, roads are decent. Garbage is collected every day for free

1, though I find them welcoming, Nigerians there have a bad reputation and they tend to avoid Nigerians especially when it comes to business, A dude once stepped on me in a club at the Almadies, and even threatened to deport 'all of us' if he ever gets into power.
2, You'll definitely have issues with their food. Infact they do not have good varieties.
3, Renting a decent apartment is expensive. Coupled with the fact that most landlords would prefer a Senegalese to a Nigerian.
4, There is a huge language barrier except you speak French, even that won't be enough as most uneducated Senegalese which makes up a large percentage of the country speak only Wolof.
5, They have limited public buses, so you might spend a lot on Taxis if you move around often.

To wrap it up, I had the intention of establishing a business there, I weighed my options and decided to invest in Naija. Though I am still questioning what led me to that decision.
