This is immediately after Yoruba gave Jonathan their votes with the help of Tinubu and the people that visited Jonathan were Pdp but igbos still saw them as outsiders who don't deserve to be part of the govt. How the table has turned and they are now the ones crying of marginalization. Yoruba shouldn't take igbos serious on anything. Btw, Yoruba haven't stopped asking for regional govt, you just have to work on your hearing and vision. Restructuring is regional govt. richmond500: |

PHijo:Which King of Nembe? Is it the Nembe that was a vassal to Obi of Aboh. It was a known fact that the trio of Aboh, Oru and Benin fathered Nembe. Ijos were no were to be found during that creation and jumped from nowhere to populate Nembe. Check the Kings rulling Nembe from day 1 till today, virtually all had their maternal homes in Aboh. Again virtually all have Igbo middle names, which is a pointer that Aboh birthed the Nembe monarchy. Lastly, Ijos had no guts to come down the Niger, the Oru's would have skinned them alive. Those who sailed the Niger were groups like Igala, with their military might connected to the Kwararafa kingdom. 4 Likes |

Eastlink: Pure lies! Flag-Amachree never went to court against Tonye Cole. It was Magnus Abe, an Ogoni who went to court against Tonye Cole. Coupled with that, if Amaechi was interested in the peace and harmony of the state as he wants people to believe, he should have contested for the deputy governorship slot in 2007. |

Eastlink:Mr man stop taking about my people history that you know nothing about, we are not Ikwerres who don't know their history or where they come from. Igbo man like you can not tell us our Origin or defined us that will never happen. Okrika people are ijaws who migrated from the delta, present day( Baysela and Delta state) Okrika is 90% ijaws We didn't break out from Kalabari. Leave Okrika people alone, you have been trying so hard to create hatred between my people and ijaws from other state, but you will fail and will continue to fail. 5 Likes |

Allen102:You see how these igbo people are trying so hard to rewrite our history? If we are not here on NL that's how they will spread fake narrative about us. Apart from Ibaka,i don't know any clan in Wakirike Bese who have Kalabari Origin. 3 Likes |

WorWorBoy:Nobody is rewriting any history, I'm reterating the true history of Okrika people. This history is known by elderly Okrikans. Early Okrika history was factual until Ijaw fake historians from Bayelsa propounded the west east migration. Okrika came in contact with the white men very early the same with Kalabari, Bonny and Nembe. Their historical origin is in the British archives. Pages were written about it by foremost historian GI. Jones as well as other notable historians. Factual history as told by the Okrikans themselves. 1 Like |

Eastlink:Okrika people are ijaws who migrated from present day delta and Baysela states. E.g the likes of Okochiri migrated from Amassoma Bayelsa while my home town Ogu/Bolo migrated from Delta state. Igbo man like you who is not from Okrika can not tell me my people history i will never accept it. Bayelsa people did not do anything, it is you igbos with your i too know attitude, who act as if you know it all who are trying so hard to change my people history with your fake narrative. Okrika people are not ikwerres who are confuse or who don't know where they come from. We are Ijaw people i've told you before, stop trying to paint Bayelsa people bad cause it's not going to work. 2 Likes |

WorWorBoy:I hope you don't go to Ateke’s palace in Okochiri to spew this crap. Okochiri’s history is well known. Well known more than the backwater Ammasoma. Had it not being for late Alameseigha, Ammasoma will still be a crappy town inhabited by crabs and sub humans. In the case of Okochiri, their history was recorded even before the birth of Alagoa the scam Professor. Okochiri’s forefathers were migrants from Abam. Even the name Okochiri and the language spoken there has Igbo intonation. Okrikans know themselves and who came from where. Those who migrated from Kalabari know themselves, those from Andoni know themselves, those from Abam know themselves and those from Etche know themselves. This is the beauty of Wakrike people and they’ll continue to safeguard that history away from Bayelsa/Delta history thieves. |
