Tetehjewels: Buhari seems to be conflating IPOB with Igbos. This is the problem with Buhari, he sounds ignorant or deliberately mischievous. IPOB is not igbos and in fact only a small segment of igbos ( mainly frustrating or jobless youths in the the south east and abroad) are IPOB members, who don't even have much investments and properties. The vast majority of successful igbos with billions of dollars worth of properties all over Nigeria and the world are not members of IPOB. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Penguin2: Don't get me wrong, no sane Nigerian right now is happy with the leadership of this country. They have all failed! We are only putting into perspective the question he was asked, and the response he gave. It is also not good to say he didn't understand or answer the questions correctly. We should not say what he didn't say 3 Likes |

I can now understand why the country is the way it is today. Buhari is s disappointment. Anytime I look forward to his speech or interview I end up disappointed. 6 Likes |

TimFisher2: That must be Lauretha Onochie. Very stupid lots. They will never see anything wrong with the interview and with Nigeria as long as their pay master is involved. Useless rehearsed cut and join interview without follow-up questions. Nigeria is doomed. The turmoil all over the country will cease once that wimp in Aso rock steps down. Then there will be investors confidence again. The idiot fails to see that he is the cause of all the problems. #BuhariMustGo on June 12. 3 Likes |

Asiseeit:Nope That is just by the Senate to justify spending money appropriated for that task, the presidency agreed because the Senate assured them it's just to keep masses calm and no tangible end product However if you remember malami was exposed last week for suggesting buhari should suspend the constitution This is actually an under lay into that plan 3 Likes |

In one breadth President Buhari said his appointments are based on going through the ranks to get to the top, that appointments are based on seniority. But in the next breadth when questioned on why he appointed the current chief of army staff despite many other senior officers above him. He changed the argument to competence. This is like heads I win and tails you lose scenario. 5 Likes |

Maybe my expectation was very low, but I have to say Buhari handled himself ok. Yes it was not an excellent performance but I think he spoke from the heart. He's basically an old man who wants the best for the country, but is blinded by ethnic sentiments and an inability to be empathic to those who disagree with him. I hope he'll start to have more media appearances, he is the father of the nation and needs to carry everyone along. 5 Likes |
