UACN Monday 14th June is the last qualification date....... Since Monday has been declared as public holiday for Democracy Day, then today 11th June will probably be the last date for dividend hunters to pick.......if not yet seated in the bus. Reminder Dividend: 65kobo Special Dividend : 55kobo Bonus: 266 UPDC-REIT for every 1000units of UACN held (as at the last qualification date). UBA One entity or some entities seems to be selling while another one is buying @7.10...........this has been ongoing for quite some days now........... We see what they're up to........once they're done satisfying their interests. LEARNAFRICA Quite a lot of activities here.........selling/buying/crossing upandan........ Pa Emma what's up here? UNILEVER Increased activities observed here since yesterday..........lots of bargainers sighted on bid table @ different bargain junctions........ VITAFOAM High volumes crossed at @12 in early market..........guess another director is taking his/her own position as well.... 2 Likes |

Weldon sis, pls will anybody buying today get the 1:6 bonus? yMcy56: |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 1:55pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
Kereokwu:NO! The qualification date already passed. Whosoever is buying now will be doing so for possible price appreciation later..........or positioning for interim dividend.......coming up much later after Q2 result is out. It's only UACN you can still qualify for, if picked today. After today, no more qualify. 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 2:48pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
ojeysky:Maybe you can either: Average down and sell at minimal loss to move on.........or, turn it to long term investment. ........but I expect FTN Cocoa to re-strategize cos Agric Sector is now booming, they needed fresh innovation or needs to diversify. **Caveat: Not any form of sell recommendation. Mr. Market has a mind of its own. If fund used in buying is not urgent or needed for any other biz, you may stay put, anything can happen in this market** 1 Like |

Is ABCTRANS a good shares to buy and hold? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmasoft(m): 8:12pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
Wapgod: The date bonus shares are to be credited to investors' cscs account is not normally stated by the company declaring it. Once you qualify, the stock marked down and regulatory approval gotten, bonus shares can be credited any time even if you sell all your holdings the bonus will still be credited to your cscs. 3 Likes |

bepositive11: You need to invest in your financial education. Someone who just lost his job and has no back up plans and emergency reserves, needs a steady source of income before thinking of the stockmarket. 6 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:05am On Jun 12, 2021 |
bepositive11: I am a day trader. I make 10% and also loose 10%. I have a back up business that sustains my family while I engage myself in a supporting income which is trading. When you loose your job and no backup business to sustain you, how do you think you will succeed in trading stocks which is full of up and down? Even if you make 10% as profit in trading, how much do you think you can invest to make 100k as profit? Go through pa Emma response to your post.I think he gave you the best answer. I can trade and loose up to 10 times and still remain in the business because of my extra income. Hope you get the point. Secure yourself another thing to keep you going, then come back to this market and you will have a chance to survive the up's and down of it. 6 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by bepositive11: 8:21am On Jun 12, 2021 |
locodemy: Thanks for your reply, but there's a misunderstanding. I didn't post the original question. I have a stable source of income and I'm looking to start investing. I'm reading through the comments to learn. Some have been very helpful. You mentioned in your previous comment that you gain 10% and lose 10%. If that's the case, why do you still do it? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmasoft(m): 9:16am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Wapgod: If you bought shares from the floor of the NGX It's through transfer form the registrars is suppose to get your signature specimen hence you are to complete the transfer form and submit to your stockbroker who in turn send to the cscs onward to the registrar. It's after that you are to submit your e-dividend to either your bank or the registrar. |

bepositive11: Invest in your financial education Save and have an emergency reserve Live within or below your means Invest what you have saved in whatever you have mastered eg real estate, business, fixed income, stock market, mutual fund etc. Although I recommend having a mixture of them. Creat multiple streams of passive income cash flow Be humble. Pray for the best but be prepared for the worst. The list can't be exhausted 10 Likes |

bepositive11: Traders lose some and gain some, the strategy is to make sure their gains exceed their loses. I won't recommend day trading for a newbie. Rather invest for dividends, you can then use you dividends to speculate. Or use just 10% of your capital for day trading until you have mastered your strategy and you have a good risk management plan 4 Likes |
