God will leave you if you involve in this sin , fornication, adultery ,Idol worship , shedding blood , mating with same sex .but other sins your conscience will keep on judging you ,he will be there for you but won't be much active unless you ask for forgiveness.if God leave you devil will drive you into scrap ,so if you know you did anything wrong just ask for forgiveness , and his spirit will be activated . God can not leave you nor forsake his Son or believer. It just the way u pay attention to your intuition or feels God in most cases. Ranging from how u worship, praising, studying Bible and every other activities that as to do with God. If above activities dropped drastically. Note something strange as set in which is sin. And this so called sins will make u feel less interested in the things of God. |

God can never leave you for as it is above so it is below and you're the best of his creation so He lives in you if you know what I mean. It is easier for you to leave God than for Him to leave you. |

@OP I don't think there is such thing as "God left you".. It's you that can go stray reason we have concept of lost sheep and not lost God, but you can always choose to return to Him and lead a righteous life. |

The True Test is Absence of Troubles, Peace, True Prosperity and not the foolish definition of prosperity which people say and True Riches and not not the foolish definition of riches which people say. And it is only those who have Truly accomplished it, that can tell you. The normal world is to live in troubles and Observable Tragedy is not normal. Like the plagues in Egypt and in the world right now, That is a Judgement! So observable tragedy is not a way to measure. |

As someone once said: “If God seems far-away, guess who moved” God does not leave us, it is we who ‘leave’ God by living ungodly. Yet, even in our unfaithfulness, He remains faithful. This is the foundation of our faith, the fact that God does not change His mind with every whim and caprice. God does not have mood swings. Repent! this essentially means to re-think , by renewing our minds with God’s grace & truth, so that like a radio , we can tune in to God’s frequency, which is always broadcasting. It is an impossibility for God to leave anyone or anything in existence. Existence cannot leave things that are in Existence. Maybe you are feeling that the words or influence of a particular god aka Jehovah is not making impact in your life anymore. Well, that's understandable because we are in an era where religious philosophy will clear out of human consciousness. |

Going to church has nothing to do or a sign that God is with you. doing or not doing Godly things has nothing to do with God present in your life. been righteous doesn't take you to heaven,sinful life has nothing to do with u goin to hell or not. we leave by grace,going to heaven is by grace not bcuz you are righteous or u are a sinner,God said he will show mercy to whom i chose to.. there are many people in the bible God use mightly,those people were not righteous and they where not sinner,but God presence was with them. i just believe in humanity thats all,not what the bible says Rhozabeth: |

hopefulLandlord:No tragedy befalls any person who rejects God on this earth. Time and chance happen to us all here on earth. The Kingdom of Christ is NOT of this earth. For the OP, God does not leave His own. God may be displeased with His own but except in case of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. |

Omooba77:God doesn't leave a true child of God. What is percieved as God leaving a believer is when the indwelling Holy Spirit LEAVE YOU ALONE to do as you wish with your life. The implication is that the Holy Spirit choose not to interrupt, caution or reprimand you for any of your actions. When a true Christian feel through his/her conscience that the Holy Spirit has withdrawn, it is their responsibility to God back to God for a restoration. God didn't leave you: You were the one who left Him to somewhere else. Come back to Him If we are expected to forgive those who wrong us 70x7 times, how much more our God and Father in heaven? |

You can know that 'God' has 'left' you when you start thinking that the only thing that can end your misery in life is to divide Nigeria. When you start defying a constituted authority without any justification, when you engage in indiscriminate unjustifiable protest against your government, when you love painting your country black on social media and offline, when you are always praying negative prayer against your country, and don't expect anything good to come out of your country, that's when you know God has 'left' you simply because you embody darkness!
