So everyone should remain in Nigeria and be paid less than $80 per month like he pays his pastors? 2 Likes |

TrueNigerian300: Bless you brother for this statement! Why I particularly find this part of his statement offensive is that the members of most Nigerian-headquartered Churches outside the shores of Nigeria are predominantly (over 90%) Nigerians - this is the case all over the World - from Oceania to Asia to Europe to North America; and they are mostly very small Churches. It is very difficult for them to attract Native Believers in their Localities because you can't be praying mostly about "your enemies will die by fire" or preaching mostly about “Jacob paid his tithe and God blessed him with .... ," and expect people to be interested in your Church, as their own orientation is quite different from what obtains in Nigeria. That's my observation over the years. The only one exception is Pastor Okulaja`s Church in Ukraine, and his is not a Nigerian-headquartered Church. It was founded in Ukraine, and he has been very successful because he has focused more on caring for the sheep than taking from the sheep (which is what our Church Leaders are doing in Nigeria) and he speaks fluently the 2 main Local Languages (Russian and Ukrainian). |

This man and his fellow members are indeed deluded. Why would he wanna move when he knows that he can't get away with all the atrocities he commits in Nigeria. Americans aren't as gullible and foolish as Nigerians. These diaspora Nigerians he's abusing are also the ones that pay heavy tithes ooo, just imagine. This man is a FOOL and his members are even more foolish! |

Eriokanmi:this uour last paragraph though. He's not appreciated because he sells cars? We both know he's probably better paid than most of his old mates who are languishing in abject poverty elsewhere. For every successful Nigerian there's like 10 abject failures. We're talking of a country where the minimum wage is 33k naira. How many Nigerians have a high living standard? Very meagre percentage. 2 Likes |

You can make it anywhere but one thing about Nigerians is that they blv once they enter plane, they have made it in life, but they are not aware that every other countries face same situation as Nigeria does, it is just little difference. 1 Like |

You refused to move to the US. Later you established churches with help of your poor congregation. You pay your graduate pastors mere N38k monthly salary. This amount is less than what you spend on designer shoes. Jesus Christ used to feed His followers but modern day pastors feed on their followers. Only God knows those who truly worship Him. |

Elxandre: Indeed, and the guys last paragraph is weird. So is it a bad thing for the Professor in NC to have a side hustle selling cars? Lots of Americans have side hustles to earn extra income. And trust me a professor in America is much more appreciated than being in OSU or even Unilag with salary of N250k, where you are forced to make ends.meet by doing things against your conscience like selling handouts and being settled for Marks. 3 Likes |

Eriokanmi: Besides the guy selling the inverter thing would never have got to that stage if he had never traveled abroad in the first place. If he had stayed back, then that opportunity would likely never had come. He would never have had the contact with that American company and with poor salary in Nigeria he'd likely not have the capital to do that business. So going to America is what helped him. 2 Likes |

judedwriter:You're right about this Abraham has to move, Isaac was told to stay in Gerrar Gen 26:6, Jacob was told to return to Bethel, after about 400 years Israel was taken out of Egypt. Now in Canaan Israel with Judah were deported. Conclusion: life is not mathematics, nobody has the manual on how best to live life. Just do what work for you and stop comparing yourself to others We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 2 Corinthians 10:12 Thank you very much for your time and patience |

jesusjnr2020: And you have been seeing since that 2003, and this is 2021, 18 years after you decided not to relocate from Nigeria, and you are already growing grey hairs on your head, and we are yet to read your name on Who's Who in Nigeria, but only on the anonymous Who's Who on the insignificant Nairaland forum. And yet you desist not from being a seer. And has Nigeria gotten better since the day you made that decision, or gotten worse? And if you had only depended upon your myopic vision and prophecy since that 2003, and not on your God, would life have been better for you in this going-down-the-hill country? Well, let me not discourage you, keep on enjoying your sweet dream until the politicians loot away all the country's resources, until the bandits and the unknown gun men walk freely across your own side of the street killing, maiming, kidnapping and extorting the innocent neighbours close to you, until the yahoo gangs, the young prostitutes, the ritual killers, for the love of money continue to destroy the societal morality. Keep on dreaming Bro for your utopian Nigeria that is never going to come to pass until Jesus arrives. 3 Likes |
