When you swallow drugs or get injected with the components of the tablet you swallowed, will you get the same result or not? When a sick person refuses to eat, are the nutrients required for bodily existence not passed to the body via infusion?
Leviticus 3:17 stated categorically that we should not eat blood AT ALL. It is not negotiable, whether you eat it orally or via injection, it is not acceptable.

We are Jehovah's Witnesses, we don't just take orders from anyone without ascertaining what is the significance of such injunctions so whenever Jehovah ask us to do anything the first thing true JWs often do is to question Jehovah to be sure that the spirit talking is in deed the true God!
Abraham, Moses even Jesus did this before taking action on whatever they hear from the spirit. So when we read in the scriptures that Jehovah warned his faithful servants of old not to eat meat along with it's blood {Genesis 9:4; Deuteronomy 12:23; Act 15:29} we need to question Jehovah to be certain of such injunction, but we can't see or hear him directly unlike our people of ancient times with whom Jehovah spoke directly!
So how do we question Jehovah to know why he gave such orders? It's by studying his words with diligence so that we can defend His words before all kinds of people.
Jehovah explained that the (life) of a creature is in its blood {Leviticus 17:11} meaning such a thing is not to be transferred from the body of one creature to another!
Of course when Jehovah gives such orders we can't expect those who don't know our God to take such injunction seriously. But we need to be certain of the evil consequences Jehovah wants to prevent from affecting His loving children. Isaiah 48:17-18
Today there are so many deadly diseases ravaging lives throughout the earth though before now such do occur but not to this level, surely all these are the consequences of man's disobedience to the wise counsel from God's word. So, your sect deliberately twisted the law of God and in so doing you have sent many into their early graves. So yes, you guys are extremist. God never said humans should not be transfused with the blood of fellow humans. God can see into the future so He could have known that a time would come when blood transfusion would be a form of treatment yet He never spoke against it.

In blood transfusion, the person whose blood you’re refusing is not killed or dead so the analogy is not the same.

Is it legal to stop someone from having blood transfusion before? You don't understand the mind of religious zealots. Knowing such law exist,what do you think they'll do next when they have that child who'll probably need blood transfusion? Take him to the hospital?

The ordinance was to avoid eating fat or blood. You chose to obey one law and to reject the other.

You refuse blood transfusion but eat animal fat yet you claim you’re obeying God’s law.

The bolded belongs to the nation of Israel but it's no more an order for those under the new covenant! Jeremiah 31:34

The fat is poured on the fire so that the smoke will serve as the sign that the sacrifice has been accepted as the smoke keep ascending high up to heaven, so if the Israelites are eaters of the fat then it will become difficult for them to let go of this part. Through too much consumption of fat also has its side effects but since it's not included in the order given to our brothers who entered into the new covenant we know that Jehovah has put an end to that injunction!

Do you notice that the blood is no more mentioned along with fat?
Well that's how JWs distinguish between what Jehovah wants us to continue keeping as order and those that has become obsolete.
