Rerin:
Good day all,
kindly assist with the least number of days to state for a visit visa or appropriate no of days, self sponsor with hotel booking and disposable income a bit less than 300k considering the covid bohaha.
Any success rate to apply by Sept against November trip?
Can I apply with 5months statement of acc and present 6 months payslips?
Is 560k appropriate to claim to be spent for the trip for those no of days?

Kindly advise the best.

I have been issued before but could not travel due to covid.

I am asking due to unnecessary denials recently and covid protocols.

There is no better success rate in any given month but financially summer months are more expensive because the weather is nicer and tickets sky rocket.

Most denials are not “unnecessary” as you have wrongly stated but happen because people do not take their time to do the right thing or want to outsmart the system.(A very small percentage get rejected due to quota system or a careless case worker etc).
When you read some rejection letters on here it’s no surprise why they were not approved.
You have started with a mistake already you want to use 5 months statement with 6 months payslip does this information tally to you?.No.
You earn 300k which is roughly £530 so if you want to travel you can but do a quick calculation then factor in your flight ticket, accomodation and miscellaneous this will tell you how many days you can honestly afford.
Do your home work, make sure you can back up everything you have said with proof, double check your information for contradictory information and submit genuine Documents that’s all.Good luck.

Please I’m still expecting responses.

Thanks.
MamaCaptain:
Good afternoon great people, I got this refusal mail. I wish to reapply. I want advice on what are the chances.

Ps: I clearly stated the sources of the funds they raised with backing documents. I am unsure if they checked.

In my Aunty’s case, we have a family picture together but I didn’t add it to the application, she also said she’s going to write a cover letter to back it.

I need your advice on how to go about it.

Thanks.

when the embassy is done they will get back to you. No two applications are the same and as such no one will be able to give you a timeline moreso on how they operate.

Hello my people.

Please how soon can a student who travels to Nigeria go back to UK, considering covid tests, isolation, vaccination, restrictions, etc.

Only going to pick the son.

Please help, this is a very important decision.

How old is your son? Do you want to consider using the unaccompanied minor service from your airline and that way you don’t have to travel back

With profound humility, I wish to know the success rate for Visiting visa application to UK recently, especially applicants applying for UK tourist visa for the first time and using Hotels and tourist attractions in their application.
Thanks

The success rate should be high if you have the right documents and build a strong case.

If he is tagged as an unaccompanied minor by the airline, no immigration will touch him. He will be handled only by the officials of the airline, he will not wait in a queue, he will be fed, he will be at the top of every queue and escorted through border control by an airline staff. He will wear a noticeable identification tag on his neck. If there is a stop over he will be ket at the business lounge or first class lounge.
If they need to get on a shuttle bus before getting on d plane, the staff will put him at the top of the queue and escort him through all this.
He will also be handed over to the captain.
The part I dnt know is if he can sit by himself on the plane, you know your child better.
Finally when he lands in uk, an airline staff will get him off the plane and get him through immigration and will only hand him over to you or any other named individual that was filled on his form at his departure from Nigeria.
Very seem less.
You just need to ring the airline and confirm with them by written evidence that they offer this service before purchasing the ticket.

Different airlines accept different ages, some 12 and above. U need to find out their age cut off

Just checked some airlines now. Virgin Atlantic has suspended this service. BA allows 12 years above. I'm still looking around though. Thanks

Good evening everyone. My cousin is traveling to the UK on Sunday and took his COVID test yesterday Thursday. The government site specifically mentioned “3 days or less to departure date”. He is flying with BA…

However, someone is saying that the rule is 72 hours and that Thursday is not covered. Please can anyone help clarify this?

I am not aware of any airline that would take a child below 10years unaccompanied but you do some research online.
As Nigeria has joined the restricted list for child Adoption since March 2021 due to human trafficking and document falsification, anything that concerns a child is double scrutinised and nearly impossible, especially if they are alone.

I hope this helps.

if he is coming on sunday. I think he is covered till sunday but for same time. So if he had the test on Thursday 10am the test expires Sunday 10am.
This is from the govt site. Use this example
‘For example, if you travel directly to England on Friday, you can take the test on or after Tuesday and will need to have the negative result available before boarding on Friday’

BA leaves in the night. Even though Medbury didn’t state the sample collection time on the result; just the date alone

Hello Guys, need urgent help right now... I live in the UAE but I am a Nigerian and I intend to submit my visa application in Dubai here... While trying to complete my visa application, I got to a stage where they asked me the below questions

Which country did you visit?
What was the reason for your visit?
When did you enter this country?
When did you leave this country?

I also attached a screenshot for better understanding... I can't proceed at this stage... what can I do guys ?

Hello House,
Please do fully vaccinated passengers from Nigeria still need to quarantine for 10 days and book day 2 & 8 covid test?
Travelling with my 12yr old son will he need to provide a negative covid test before departure as well?

Will appreciate your inputs.
