What you said was not relevant. I didn’t say it was a clear foul. I said it was a borderline foul so saying it wasn’t a clear foul is out of point to what I was saying SINCE I never said it was a clear foul in the first place.

They will get them playing better than they are playing now but don’t deceive yourself that they will play good footy.

McTom for one won’t have even been promoted into the senior team by Pep and if Pep had met him he would have offloaded him. Klopp might have use for him though.

Fred would also be better but might still not make the grade. There is a reason Pep was initially interested in him but then left him to us.

The other player Pep left to us was Alexis Sanchez. That might tell you something.

Do you think that VDB can be Utd’s Busquets. If we are going to be a possession based or direct play team, we may just need a player that can recycle possession or/and make short, safe and maybe incisive passes to our attacking/central midfielders.

Or better still, consider two DMs, VDB with one of Fred or McTom making the interceptions and tackles. Bruno, Pogba and Sancho as AMs/wingers in a 4-2-3-1 set up.

This could be an option. VDB with one out of McTominay and Fred. If we can't get a CDM that can play solo we can play a double pivot in which one of them at least is comfortable with the ball.

Probably try Fred and VDB first even though McTominay is so useful in both boxes and with set pieces. McTominay saved Lindelof's blushes against Leeds when he prevented a Bamford near post header.

Bolded is major Reason I believe he has to play to get things right. He can comfortably pass from the back, short passes. He's good at finding and utilising spaces and he can pop up Goals if opportunity arises.

He has played as a sole DM many times, so he's not gonna be unusual if he plays there for United. VDB, Pogba and Bruno can work, especially once Varane starts playing as well.

OGS should change formation to 4 3 3, to win Titles you must be sound tactically and technically, and should be paying Attention to the Match, not watching something on the Tab.

VDB is like Gundogan and even the ultra-attacking Pep is not playing Gundogan as the sole shield in midfield while Tuchel partners Jorginho (their VDB ) with workers like Kante or Kovacic.

Donny has played quite well in his last two or three appearances for the first team. I can't quite believe Ole hasn't found a proper role for him.
Cavani is very fit, Varane was already back in training before his move, Sancho has been with the group for 4 weeks.
it's only at United we act like new signings need to attend some KG lessons or something while we continue with more of the same ineffective players that cannot offer anything new.
