I'm tired, everybody is trying in Naija,but the country make am be like hustling guys are lazy,bills go choke making it look like we ain't making progress financially...imagine earning like 75k and spending over 100k monthly due to unforseen bills and high cost of things,from food to clothes,to housing to transportation to maintaining relationships and a standard lifestyle....E no easy...depression don build duplex for my head,Na everyday migraine dey knack me for one side of my head (left side)... I'm just tired, mentally exhausted, spiritually low, psychologically unbalanced atm...men are working yet nothing to show for when all earnings are used in paying one bill or the other....Na die just remain like this cos I'm tired of this long struggle.

Food stuff has started coming down in the North.
Mudu of Rice is now about #520 in the village markets.
New maize and Corn is now #250 and #290 respectively.
Fives average sized tubers of Yam that used to be #3,500 is now about #2,000. But a kilo of cow meat is still is till high and btw #1,800-#2000 in most Northern cities.

The first thing I do when I receive salary is to draw up a list of the things I don't have in the house and shop for them first especially foodstuffs because the worst thing that would happen to you is if you're hungry in this kind of economic situation

Then I subscribe for internet and my DSTV to keep me entertained in the house so as to avoid some unnecessary things that would make me leave my house and spend unnecessarily

I try not to carry a lot of cash around so as not to fall into the temptation of unnecessary expenses

Finally, as a single guy, I avoid slay mamas for unnecessary billing or if I can't, I'll just say things to get them upset and not apologising so that the drama will last long

Not to mention that I'm still acquiring skills to help me move out of this country and be useful outside because I can't allow my kids experience what I'm experiencing

I earn 13k a month: data, transport, feeding, taking care of myself dey chop everything. I literally have no savings; can't even eave anything. My only hope is to make it as a software engineer. Life's not easy when you are poor.

I see the current cost of basic commodities like food, fuel, gas, etc, and I wonder how those families earning less than 60k a month are doing it?!!

I mean, a single person can't even survive on 50k a month in this accursed administration. How then can husband, wife and kids survive on it?!! What and how do they feed?!!

This country is sitting on a very dangerous time bomb!!!

Those of you who think you are financially secure, hence far removed from the million others should think again...

A nation with millions poor and hungry is completely ripe for anarchy!!! No one is safe!!! High fences and personal security won't mean a damn thing!
