Hello all,
Silent follower here figured I might share this:

So I got a refusal a few hours ago with the below reason:
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status"

I did apply on July 7th, refused today September 7th (I am Kenyan)
I did put in a complete application(Medicals included).

Kindly, someone give me the procedure for ordering my GCMS Notes.

Thank you!
So sorry to hear that, you can order your notes from gcmsbuddy dot Com.
Get the notes, and we all are going to tackle their concerns together this time.

Thanks
Payment has been received by Western Union Busines Solutions and is bn transferred to the MUN
Nevertheless I still requested for the telex copy from my bank. I will send it to my school with a copy of my payment status on GPWestern Union as I have already contacted the Finance unit of my school to notify them of situation.

I will advise anyone that want to make payment through CBN Form A to start the process on time. If any bank tells you trash just go to another bank or branch of the same bank.

Firstly, Access Bank declined the transaction and wasted my time for 2 days. I went to Gtbank I was told I had to open a current account, then Wema bank told it will take 5 days or two weeks, UBA said I must have had an account with them for six months. I didn't try First Bank because their head has never been correct when it comes to Foreign Exchange transactions. Finally went another Access Bank branch and it was done with ease.

usor00:
yea, canada imperial bank.Ok mail the Globalpay to send you your textex copy then send to your school immediately because if your program has waitlist you might be opt out if the don't see the payment by today and the will put another person from the waitlist
quote author=gaduchendu post=105563475]I used Access Bank
Filled Form A on Thursday September 2nd
Money was deducted on Friday September 3rd

By CIBC do you mean Canada Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Cos In my case the payment is made through Globalpay to Western Union Busines Solutions

Good Afternoon everyone,

I hope everyone is having a good day

I applied on the 11th of June and my review of eligibility is still yet to begin.

However, I submitted my LOA, and it has an expiration date of 8th September 2021, which is tomorrow.

My courses will be online for the fall semester, but I would like to know if and how I can mention this to IRCC.

Please advise

You still have alot to know about this study visa, you didn't mention wat you studied in your previous degree and this health related program you want to study in Canada, make sure your previous degree is related to the health program you aspire to study in Canada or if it's related to your Employment history.
This one you said your into wall painting !

GOD IS GREAT! I couldn't have done it without His grace over me throughout the journey even when I lost hope on the application. I remember finding this thread 3 days after submitting my application, and I felt bad because I made alot of mistakes and didn't include alot of documents in my application, I wanted to withdraw the whole application, but after reading through the thread, I got an insight that all applications are different, any application can be approved or declined, even the ones you least expect, so I became calm and waited. Your Testimony too is neigh, just be calm.

My Tips (From my Experience);
1) Apply for your study VISA at least 6 months before your School's resumption date.
2) When your Application has exceeded 3/4 months without any update, I suggest you send them mails or webforms 3 weekdays in a week between 5am-7am till you get your VISA decision (Your tone in the E-mails should be extremely polite).
3) When your Application has exceeded 3/4 months, you can try sending a mail to an MP (Member of Parliament) of where your school is located in Canada to help you out. Although not all would be willing to help (Mine wasn't).
4) After your Application, only send documents through Webforms when it is very necessary or sent for by your V.O because most times, these documents lead to major delays in your VISA decision.

I hope this helps alot of people.

Long post alert!!!
It could only have been God, it has ended in praise.
My journey started 2019 July during my NYSC. I was still a novice about Visa applications then and my focus was on going to a top rated school. I applied to McMaster, Memorial and McGill. I don't know why I thought I would be able to afford them without funding(lol). Got admission to McGill in February 2020 but the tuition was almost 30k with zero funding and I wasn't selected for the scholarship I applied for in November 2019.

I deferred the admission with the hope of reapplying for the scholarship the next year while still applying to other schools.
I still wanted a high ranking uni but this time I was more strategic and looked for for schools with good ranking but relatively affordable fees. I applied to both UBC and UAlberta and only got UAlberta admission.
I also reapplied for the MasterCard scholarship for McGill since I had a deferred admission, this time I was nominated and was so happy. I went through the rigorous scholarship application process and submitted Jan 2021 only to get a rejection from the scholarship in April, I won't lie it broke me and I almost gave up but we moooooove.
Thankfully I had my University of Alberta admission so I started my Visa application and eventually submitted in May.

My timeline is as follows:
[  ] Upfront medicals: May 13th
[  ] Applied : May 14th ( I didn't include my medicals slip because I wanted to submit it with my IELTS result, lol but they updated it to pass before the physical IELTS result came out).
[  ] Medicals updated to pass: May 21
[  ] Biometrics: May 24, updated same day
[  ] IELTS: May 17th (I did CBT so my result came out online in 2 days) - LRSW; 8.5/9/7.5/8.0 band score: 8.5.
[  ] Eligibility review: Sept 7, 2021.
[  ] BVL and PPR: Sept 7, 2021.
Program: MPH, Occupational and Environmental health
School: University of alberta
Duration: 2 years course.

Please note I did not get NSE request but sent the IELTS via webform. Also, I used a stanbic mutual funds account so I was unable to get an MBS so I just used a regular bank statement and confirmation of investment letter.
The funds available were not so much so I was scared it might affect my application but God thank God for grace.

After submission, I realized that some things I submitted in the financial part were really blurry, so I sent them again via webform and emails.
Also, registration for tuition opened late May but I only paid for fall semester and sent the tuition receipt via webform and emails.

I also got a notarized confirmation of name affidavit because the name on my international passport was shortened to Teniola as opposed to all my others documents that beared Oluwateniola.
I sent it with a mini LOE explaining that both are the same thing, I sent both via webform and emails.

Special shoutout to Lekiboeboe, he helped to review my SOP and adjust it without charging me a dime. I initially wanted to use an agent but that one charged 1m, me wey no get money, I ran away, lol.
Also, shoutout to Frank, when I sent him a mail about my SOP he was willing to help as well but it was short notice and I really wanted to meet up with the May 15th deadline then. But he still helped me look through and encouraged me that my application had prospects.

I used table of contents for both client information and Proof of funds part. My POF part also had like a mini LOE because I wanted to explain all the transactions and any lump sum very well. I have attached pictures of both below to show the documents I submitted.

I wouldn't lie there were times when I felt discouraged and my faith was shaky, but I always encouraged myself with God's word and followed NLP morning prayers diligently to boost my faith.
My NLP people I have Received it o and the Wait is over!!!!
Surely what God cannot do doesn't exist! It has ended in praise for me and it will end in praise for all PPR hopefuls on the TL!

Congratulations to all PPR recipients and may it end in praise for all those still waiting.

You all remember I got my PPR in August and by then my DLI had withdrawn me from the program. All effort to get back in has been futile. I decided to move on and apply for the next intake (winter 2022) only to be told that it's already closed and I should be on the look out for May 2022. So for now I have 9 months to wait. Gurus in the house, I hope this does not affect my visa in any negative way?

I know I can still get admitted into similar programs elsewhere but is it advisable since I will have to submit a new study permit application? 8 months is a long time to wait again after 6months wait for visa.

But I am still open to ideas on what to do about this. Thank you all
