How I sent my Passport to Abuja.

I did my Biometrics in Lagos but I sent my passport to Abuja,
So I had to pay a transmission fee of NGN 8,920 to this account
CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.

I bought a fresh brown envelope and added the following documents, so follow:

- Your International Passport itself (That your passport !!)

- Print only 1 copy of the transmission fee payment receipt and put in your envelope

- 2 copies of your passport data page (I printed it in colored copy)

- Those stapled papers that was given to you after the completion of your Biometrics (put them as it is [original copy] not the photocopy)

- The PPR letter (1 copy)

- 2 copies of the Consent form (I filled and signed the second page only) . Download the consent from here: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/dominicanrepublic/pdf/Consent-Form-TTS-English.pdf

- A plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number (this is not really needed though, but I added it)
NOTE: I paid for 2 ways Courier at DHL and insured it to and fro

2 courier means: As I am sending my passport to Abuja, I want Abuja to send back my STAMPED passport to the address I stated on the Courier.

I have deferred my admission till Winter 2022 )but the university is not issuing a new LOA as the former one has both January and September start dates. A deferral letter was rather issued stating that admission deferred till Jan. Should I send this via web form to IRCC or I should just leave it. If yes pls I need help on how to raise web form.

Hello,
I have couple questions and hope to be answered. So i have applied for schools in Canada(haven’t gotten accepted yet) but I want to start prepping my documents with faith i get accepted to atleast one. So I stumbled on a video saying while applying we should have our personal statement aside that of our sponsor, Is that compulsory or necessary, if yes how much should be there and for how long? Also what if i finished school 2019, served(Nysc) 2020 and now 2021 i have no job would that affect my application or can i get a letter from a company but didn’t work there? And also been trying to wrap my head to write a perfect SOP but I don’t seem to even know what I’m writing. Please i need your assistance.Thank you

Hi everyone. I am yet to submit my visa aoplication but i have booked my medicals with qlife. Can i go ahead with this.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by gaduchendu: 2:51am On Sep 08, 2021
It is when you reside in Canada.

If all your brother did was to click the submit button and pay with his credit card it doesn't have any effect on your application as long when you/he was filling your application you/he indicated that your country of residence is Nigeria

Enjay316:
Please I have question o.what does application submitted from within Canada mean.Is it wen u reside in Canada or if u submitted from Canada. My brother actually submitted my application online within Canada on 24th 8pm after paying for my application with his Credit card. I filled the whole forms but I had to log out around past 12am on 25th and gave him my gckey info to help me pay for my application and submit.I noticed that my application stated I submitted on 24th cos it was my brother in Canada that submitted it even though it was 25th in Nigeria. my question is will it be counted as application made from within Canada ?

Good morning all

This is my first time on this platform and I would like to appreciate all the gurus for their wise response, I've learnt alot in the 10 mins of being on this platform.

Please I would like your advice, I applied for visa two years ago and was denied, please some one should please further explain the reasons for my rejection and how to correct it as I would be reapplying soon. Thanks

Its PPR
My wife got her passport request yesterday morning and also lost her dad in the same hour. It was a mixed development.

First Application
Submitted on October 14th 2020
Delayed on January 15th 2021

Reasons for refusal
Purpose of visit
Personal asset and financial status

We ordered for GCMS and discovered that the Visa Officer misunderstood her course of study. She has bachelor of Technology in Management and Accounting from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(Lautech offers B.Tech for almost all their courses and not Bsc like other non technological school). The VO Claimed that she has Bachelor degree in Technology Management and Accounting (Instead of Bachelor of Technology in Management and Accounting)and that the course doesn’t relate with Business Management.

Second Application
Submited on May 14th 2021
Upfront medical uodated to pass on June 7th 2021
PPR on September 7th 2021
School: University Canada West
Program: MBA

What we did to tackle the first refusal
Justmellow of GCMSWRITERS wrote a well worded and detailed LOE to address the concerns raised by VO and redrafted her SOP. Justmellow also insisted we pay one year tuition fee and raise GIC of 10,000cad to tackle personal asset and financial status. We made the payment and raised GIC
I made her a director and shareholder in my company and i started paying her salary every month. I made sure it reflected on my company website and CAC documents that she’s one of our directors.
We have two cars registered in her name for UBER BUSINESS, we submitted the agreement with the driver and the payment reflects in her personal account on monthly basis. All these to tackle personal asset and financial status.

Documents submitted
Client Information
Transcript
Certificate
IELTS certificate
Land documents
Cars documents
Uber agreement
Family pictures
Children passport and birth certificates

Proof of fund
Sponsor: Husband
Co sponsor: wife
Applicant MBS of N3.8M showing salary from husband company and uber business monthly payment.
Husband MBS of around N4.8M and also domiciliary account with 28,000USD
A year tuition receipt
GIC Certificate
Pension statement

I think those are the major documents submitted.

This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. All the glory belongs to God.

Thanks to justmellow for what he’s doing here. Although i paid him for the service but the value gotten from him was beyond the payment. If you can not DIY pls contact him.

TennieYF:
Long post alert!!!
It could only have been God, it has ended in praise.
My journey started 2019 July during my NYSC. I was still a novice about Visa applications then and my focus was on going to a top rated school. I applied to McMaster, Memorial and McGill. I don't know why I thought I would be able to afford them without funding(lol). Got admission to McGill in February 2020 but the tuition was almost 30k with zero funding and I wasn't selected for the scholarship I applied for in November 2019.

I deferred the admission with the hope of reapplying for the scholarship the next year while still applying to other schools.
I still wanted a high ranking uni but this time I was more strategic and looked for for schools with good ranking but relatively affordable fees. I applied to both UBC and UAlberta and only got UAlberta admission.
I also reapplied for the MasterCard scholarship for McGill since I had a deferred admission, this time I was nominated and was so happy. I went through the rigorous scholarship application process and submitted Jan 2021 only to get a rejection from the scholarship in April, I won't lie it broke me and I almost gave up but we moooooove.
Thankfully I had my University of Alberta admission so I started my Visa application and eventually submitted in May.

My timeline is as follows:
[  ] Upfront medicals: May 13th
[  ] Applied : May 14th ( I didn't include my medicals slip because I wanted to submit it with my IELTS result, lol but they updated it to pass before the physical IELTS result came out).
[  ] Medicals updated to pass: May 21
[  ] Biometrics: May 24, updated same day
[  ] IELTS: May 17th (I did CBT so my result came out online in 2 days) - LRSW; 8.5/9/7.5/8.0 band score: 8.5.
[  ] Eligibility review: Sept 7, 2021.
[  ] BVL and PPR: Sept 7, 2021.
Program: MPH, Occupational and Environmental health
School: University of alberta
Duration: 2 years course.

Please note I did not get NSE request but sent the IELTS via webform. Also, I used a stanbic mutual funds account so I was unable to get an MBS so I just used a regular bank statement and confirmation of investment letter.
The funds available were not so much so I was scared it might affect my application but God thank God for grace.

After submission, I realized that some things I submitted in the financial part were really blurry, so I sent them again via webform and emails.
Also, registration for tuition opened late May but I only paid for fall semester and sent the tuition receipt via webform and emails.

I also got a notarized confirmation of name affidavit because the name on my international passport was shortened to Teniola as opposed to all my others documents that beared Oluwateniola.
I sent it with a mini LOE explaining that both are the same thing, I sent both via webform and emails.

Special shoutout to Lekiboeboe, he helped to review my SOP and adjust it without charging me a dime. I initially wanted to use an agent but that one charged 1m, me wey no get money, I ran away, lol.
Also, shoutout to Frank, when I sent him a mail about my SOP he was willing to help as well but it was short notice and I really wanted to meet up with the May 15th deadline then. But he still helped me look through and encouraged me that my application had prospects.

I used table of contents for both client information and Proof of funds part. My POF part also had like a mini LOE because I wanted to explain all the transactions and any lump sum very well. I have attached pictures of both below to show the documents I submitted.

I wouldn't lie there were times when I felt discouraged and my faith was shaky, but I always encouraged myself with God's word and followed NLP morning prayers diligently to boost my faith.
My NLP people I have Received it o and the Wait is over!!!!
Surely what God cannot do doesn't exist! It has ended in praise for me and it will end in praise for all PPR hopefuls on the TL!
Big congratulations to you Teniola and other PPR recipients. For those expectant, we shall read your testimonies and rejoice with you in Jesus mighty name.

I must say, your timelines and explanations are detailed and helpful. I am definitely saving this for my DW's application.

I am still gathering knowledge in preparation for her application....

Beyond just responding or putting information out there, I feel that we need to do better by verifying and putting Accurate Information out. So others don’t get misinformed or confused.

Remember that this is an information hub. People are here for guidance, so it’s best that we do not mislead them.

God bless us all and grant our heart desires. Amen

Dear all,
Attention: Gurus in the house;
Pls I submitted my SP application since May 15 for fall 2021 resumption. I am yet to do my medicals. I have now deferred to winter 2022 and have received my new offer letter.
Please can I do the medicals even without request from ircc yet and then furnish ircc with the medical slip via web form ? Should I also inform ircc about my new offer letter and resumption date ?
Prior to this time, I have been waiting patiently to get update and request from ircc.
Gurus in the house please respond.
Thank you

Good morning people.

Please I'm sure this has been answered somewhere but I can't seem to find it. For biometrics appointment, is it compulsory to go with two coloured photocopy of passport biodata page or we can use a black and white photocopy? Also do they allow people make photocopy inside the building?

Good morning everyone, hope we all slept well?
Please I have three questions to actually ask so this is my second application and the first one was refused based on financial status and personal assets. I will be applying again soon and this are some things I changed
1. My first application just my dad was my sponsor so I made him and my mum co sponsors as she has a business and bring quite a sum every month, but I had to register her business last month so I can get the CAC certificate included in the application though she has been running it for years now. Hope it won’t be an issue that the certificate was newly issued?
2. My mum’s account statement has her name not the business name and she pays her state taxes with her name, I wonder how it will look to the VO?
3 My dad did an evaluation for all his properties and it’s a lot of pages, am I to included the whole thing?

Hi

Well I don't know if you can go for another Masters cos it looks dicey due to your 8 years study gap.

You might need to get across to JustMellow (@gcmswriters on Twitter, IG) on this cos you would need to convince a Visa officer with very cogent reasons on your SOP "Why another Masters".

But in the lame man point of view, based on your Study gap, a PG.CERT in a program related to your self employed job or your pension fund administration job would suffice.

Based on your pension fund administration job , you can go for a PG.CERT in Accounting in a Canadian college
