Before you cap rental prices, cap costs of building materials and cap cost of Dangote cement. If that is done, rental prices will fall.

no matter the economy challenge we're facing, is not enough for us to justify fraud yes I know it's not easy but hey don't they have conscience or imagine telling ur children that you're into fraudulent business or activities, just like what one of us said"that you're setting urself up if you engage in such" and people who engage in such are no longer innocent because 90 percent do fetish things and after wasting so much of ur time getting rich and you're caught you'll forfeit everything especially if efcc catch you and to me yahoo can never be justifiable because it's the same as stealing, prostitution, kidnapping and all other dirty business so let's call a spade a spade.....

Yahoo has come to stay and will forever stay and not only in Nigeria...We are still learners compared to the Yahoo boys is USA,UK,KUALA LUMPUR,CHINA,RUSSIA,VIETNAM,SINGAPOR....All of them are into fraud so stop deceiving your self...

And if you think people will lay on their bed and die of suffering after going to school with their parents last kobo only to become teacher with 15 k salary in Nigeria when house rent is over 400 k for a decent place unless you move to village then you must be mad upstairs...Take a work around your street or estate and tell me how many people you see employed...

Our leaders have failed to create jobs and make the living conditions ok for us...They purposely make life difficult for nigerians....To work in goverment office without paying is impossible.to work in army is imposible or navy or airforce without brie...how many people can afford 300 k bribe??to set up a business is impossible because it needs capital..if you have capital..Thank God...

People buildin houses like they are buying palm slippers and you think they dont cut corners then you are deceivig yourself not me...only few people have salaries that can afford the things we see daily and they buy it cash..ot installment for years like usa or uk.

Of course I am older than them and not their spec- thankfully so!

What exactly would I be doing with younglings that wear pencil jeans, graphic tees, earrings and cross-bags. Guys that hop into their ES 330 and start blasting Zlatan and Naira Marley’s music while driving like retards. Guys that give themselves nicknames like Splash-Money and Izu-Wire-Wire. Guys that sleep knowing someone is crying, maybe dead because of their actions. Guys that spend their lives evading and settling law enforcement agencies.

You mean I should be angry that these sets of guys do not find me desirable? I do hope your partner uses protection to knack you. This level of shallowness can easily pass for an STI.

This is below the belt finish-ment! Kai

So, please clarify your point (If you have any).

Pocohantas Civil Servant boyfriend vows never to patronise the joint again as a SIMP that he is, The new rich kid vowed to always get their liquor at the mall or ShopRite and drink at home

Question is, in all fairness who brought down the business?! Pocohantas Civil. Servant boyfriend or the young boys

Well, I already answered your question earlier as seen below:

Angelfrost:
Well, that business killed itself not necessarily "Yahoo Imbeciles"!

You don't lower your standards of conducting business all because you meet nouveau riche people... That's business indiscipline!

You ought to work to keep your main clientele while attracting new ones, cos at the end it is the regulars that will keep the business afloat.

This principle applies to all forms of business!!!

Aunty, no vex, but it's the gospel truth. I'm 28, have a decent job, earn around 250k a month. Getting a decent girl for a healthy relationship is hard, believe me I have tried. The ones you meet will expect you to compete with yahoo boys. Like I can comfortably take care of a woman, but I'm not going to buy a phone worth my 2 months salary, it makes zero sense to me.
At the end I'm labeled 'stingy'. The average Nigerian lady, expecially the Gen Z and millinials want to date fraudsters, that's the simple truth. They don't care how the money comes, as long as you can buy iPhone.

Change the type of girls you roll with, there are decent non-yahoo loving girls everywhere.

I am starting to like your posts more and more. you see this Yahoo thing, it is some thing i have never liked. I and my Girl live together with high ambitions and we are actually working towards it. this has prevented us buying crazy things (though i spend almost 80k monthly sha). Her Younger sis which is actually a fur-wear and Iphone carrying Yahoo girlfriend looks down at her. like why are you dating a guy that earns like around 40,000 when you can be dating a millionaire.

this is a brat that has never worked a 30k job in her life. My girl get thick skin, she no der reason am. and the funny thing is that, I earn at least 180k to 200k + consistently and am a small millionaire. but at 24, i no get the financial strenght yet to spend up to 100k monthly or i will eat my seed and have no harvest to reap in the future. my girl senior me small o but her commitment to her dream and her not disrupting mine with excessive spending gives me hope and age no be my issue at all

You've got yourself a great wife.

Don't let anything come in-between you and her. You will surely progress and make it together.

Water and oil doesn’t mix…

If it is about the money, which I LOVE, yahoo boys do not even rival some legit hardworking men. What exactly do yahoo boys buy for their green-wig-wearing-gfs? iPhone, organic cream and small handbags. Is that what you want to use and razzle a 43yrs old woman like me in 2021? Guy, behave well abeg.

Can't believe some dulll brains are blaming yahoo boys for the cost of clothes when dollar is currently at 560 this means a proper Denim worth $10 at wholesale will set you back #5600 excluding other expenses and $10 denim is not what you get in such boutiques. I mean it's an exact copy of a designer wear so you start at $30 at least.
Maad people, always placing their anger at the wrong place.

Good point sir...

However, is the exchange rate the reason Landlords also hike their rents??! Why services locally produced or sourced go up once patronage from online criminals increase??!

Years back yahoo wasn’t something people wanted to be associated with, in first person or third person sef. Now it has been normalized and in the long list of the justification for yahoo, there is this one that stands out- YAHOO BOYS HELP THE ECONOMY AND SMALL TO MEDIUM SCALE BUSINESS. This is supposed to make us appreciate them right? Interesting.

The bar owner is simply not Innovative. He should try spice tyns up. Dia are joints like this in owerri. They are still booming, the business requires daily changes.

Very true!

Not only for businesses.. But also for other individuals!

House rent is now on the rise cos of these guys(they can pay millions for accommodation) and the greedy landlords expect all other tenants to pay up too(not minding the fact that people don't have the financial muscle to compete with G boys).

I can attest to the house rent point you raised. I wanted to give out my house at Ilupeju for rent. You need to see the way these very young dudes with questionable dressing and fancy cars were ready to dole out over 6 million for a 4 bedroom house even beating some Indians that wanted to get the house. My spirit just wasn't okay with them. Something about them just gave me the creeps. I ended up giving it to the Indians that work around Ilupeju.

I think the key word here is "Upscale", and there is a method to that madness...

You can give preferential treatments to celebrities and wealthy clients in such a way not to directly insult the status of lesser earning but loyal clients.
