Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed why he left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

POLITICS NIGERIA learned that FFK joined the ruling party on Thursday after President Muhammadu Buhari met him and other leaders of the party in the Presidential Villa.

FFK, who was beaming with joy explained that his decision to move was a direction from God.

He said that he was led by the Spirit of God in his decision and that he joined the APC to help for the unity of the country, adding that he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of Nigeria.

The fiery Politician has been a very strong critic of the Buhari administration. He is known for regularly heaping insults and strong criticism against the party even once swearing that he could never become a member again.

Without doubt he will be finished in the APC.

Without doubt again he is not a man of his words. How would he ever look his sons and other children in the face and tell them that he is a man of integrity? We were never in doubt that he would rejoin APC. All the abuses he heaped on Buhari did not matter. He called Pantami “a sociopathic jihadist”. He always left a door open to enable him port at the last minute shamelessly.

Is it possible that now that he has joined the party of the “saints”, his sins should be washed away. We wait to hear how he intends to describe the PDP.

I believe firmly that just like Joshua Dariye and co. who ported to APC to have their sins forgiven, FFK may also suffer similar fate in APC.

The same primitive, gullibiles, unexposed people who have been praising him for insulting PMB few months back suddenly turned his enemies for joining APC. This is politics not an injunction that binds him to PDP for life. You can't just love a party religiously in Nigeria for no reason because they're all the same and share common goal.

If someone is still dwelling on the usual bigotry thinking this people will serve his ethno-religious bias then that person should know that the religion and tribe of politicians is money and power!
