Please Gurus in the house, I strongly need your advice urgently, my program started 7th of September, and I tried to defer it to next term, but the school said they don't defer, they either refund your tuition to you or leave it with them and reapply next fall.
I had no faith in my application as I stated and asked them to refund. And my refund was approved yesterday which they said will take 4 to 6 weeks, then my visa approval came this afternoon. Kindly advice best decision to make at this point please

Write to them that your visa application has been approved and you would appreciate a re-consideration on your offer letter. Persuade them to disregard the refund request and also note that you would be glad to start class as soon as possible.

Hello Bukun

Unfortunately, this is one of the "benefits" you get when you use an agent..

Agents do not carry their applicants along with their application, they tend to make you know everything is going on well, whereas things are not going on well with such application... And there is no how such applicants can know what's going on because this set of "Wicked people" have side-lined applicants from knowing anything that goes on with their applications..

I had an instance of an applicant that came crying to me that is there anything I can do that his application came with a 5 year Ban just because his agent was evil all through his application... His agent applied with a fake account and after some months IRCC sent the applicant PFL to explain the SOA he submitted, but because the applicant used an agent and he never knew what was going on, he didn't get the message but the agent got the Message and didn't do anything... It was when he ordered for his GCMS notes that he saw that IRCC had issues with the SOA IRCC requested for an updated SOA, and when he couldn't provide an updated SOA within the Timeframe, then IRCC landed him a 5 year Ban... I told him there is nothing I could do after a ban, as I am not the PM of Canada neither am I an MP.. I only guide applicants from start to finish in applying for their Study visa and getting it..

I am sure your agent didn't use your email to be getting info from IRCC, am sure he didn't give you ur UCI or application number... Just pray he hasn't done anything in your application that will warrant a ban..

I will advise you order for your GCMS notes to see and know what is actually going with your application and also to know if IRCC has requested for any document...

Truth be told, that agent will keep you in the dark all through the processing of your application..

Peace

Pls I need guidance, I wrote my info here yesterday, @lekkiboboe replied with a detailed note on schools and programs but I need step to step guidance, I have registered for ielts (general) before I picked interest in studying. I learnt I don’t have to write ielts except I’m using NSE , to use NSE or not to ?

What do I do next ?
Should I register for the program to begin admission process?
I wish to have someone I can reach out to when I need answers to certain questions. Pleasssse .

@lekkiboboe I still need your help lipsrsealed

PLEASE HELP

Good day everyone. Please I need someone to advise me on my current situation; I applied around May 2021 and since then I have not gotten any feedback, my program in school started last week, I emailed my school to defer my admission and I was told I can take it to June 2022. In my initial application my financial statement was not too strong as my dad was expecting some money from a sold property but couldn't get it in time so I just applied with the available funds then (7mil), the money is now available and I wish to update it, how can I do this, will I also attach a letter of explanation? If yes how

Secondly I will like to send emails to some of the possible embassies offices where my application could be, can someone help with their email addresses and also is there a format for sending these emails.
Please I will appreciate responses thanks

Please apart from NSE which other route
Apart from the NSE route, the other route is the conventional normal study permit application route that does not requiure IELTS test result, 30KCAD etc.

You are to get the admission first before applying for STUDY Visa.

Letter of Acceptance (Admission Letter) is very important to apply for Canada Study Visa.

Go to the first page of this forum and read about the NSE route, it is well detailed there.

Ask your questions here on the forum, so you can get response from others who has your kind of Profile e.g Marital Status, Kids etc. and have gotten approved and also response from others.

[quote author=Myki007 post=106044540]It eventually ended in Praise PPR dropped for me this afternoon by 12:40. Today.
This is completely God at work in my life, and it is happening the 2nd time in my life, 1st was in my 200l days when I got a scholarship I never sat for though I applied, then this happened again. The person I initially planned to use as my sponsor disappointed me, at that point I had to apply with someone else even if the fund isn't enough just to get disapproval so I can get my money I paid as tuition back...but God has a different view.
Below is my timeline
3yrs Diploma program.
Applied May 19th
Biometric June 1st
Upfront medical August 12th
Medical passed August 26th
Eligibility never ever started
Sponsor Acc Bal. 5.9m
Personal Acc Bal 1.6m.
Made errors in my application as my sponsor names was totally different from my Mum surname I claimed to be her brother.
Normal route and applied all by myself even before coming to this thread.
No IELTS exam.
Eligibility started Sep. 21st
PPR dropped Sep 21st.[/quote

Congratulations!

There is 75% assurance you would get a fully-funded PHD offer if a Professor finds you fit for his/her research group/lab.

Go through the contents in the links, its a guide, relate and apply it to your own field, research interests then shoot your shots

I read about NSE when you mentioned it yesterday, aside expediting the process does it have any other effects?
( I won’t like to pay for another test since general isn’t acceptable)
The school mentioned in their requirements that the proficiency test is for country that doesn’t speak English as first language.

The school with affordable fee only offer 1 year PGD courses , I hope it won’t be a problem for my visa application ?
Lastly , who can proof of funds come from ? How is the limit in naira ?

Thank you for your kindness.

Going for a 1-year program has nothing to do with Visa Chances. Most PG.CERT programs in Canadian colleges offer one-year programs and many folks on this platform have gotten their VISA APPPROVED with it.

Reapplied on 15th May 2021 after analyzing the GCMS Notes and gathering more information from here!!!!!!

People were even telling me that I need an Agent but I insisted that I don't see the reason for that since all that I needed is here.

God did it for me. My PPR just landed this morning.
No need for an Agent or special WhatsApp group if you can read, comprehend and pray

I will come back to give details

What God can not do does not exist!!!!!

I did my biometric on the 28th, May. I haven't discovered this thread then. I haven't gotten any mail from IRCC ever since I did my biometric. I am really worried now that I am seeing many May applicants getting their decisions and even June applicants. I hope IRCC haven't forgotten me. Is there anyone here with same date or there about that's facing this same challenge. Note, I used an agent.

There has been tons of people here who have gotten PPR (Student Visa) even when they're still on the Express Entry Route.

Dual intent is allowed. So you're safe. Don't be nervous sir smiley

Do you have access to your profile?

Have you gone for medicals? If No, please go for medicals ASAP.
Also your application has passed standard processing time.

I'd advice you use the Web forms and Emails to remind IRCC and the rest of the team.

Most importantly, keep praying! smiley
