The day I went inside the politburo hall in China was the day I knew that Nigerian rulers are evil! I walked around the whole place in company of my Chinese friend. Most of the Chinese government establishment revolves around The Tianamen square. Yet that place is the biggest tourist attraction for ordinary Chinese, who save up to go and see these places, including the summer palaces and the great wall. Very freely and with little disturbances.

Infact more security checks were only introduced at The Tianamen square as Islamic militancy grew , especially around the Muslim dominated region in China. It makes you think deeply! If a socalled communist country can be so free to allow her citizens to walk around the corridors of power , what's it that frightens Nigerian leaders? Because this is a Nigerian problem. No one has pictures of Aso Rock. Yet, even in places like Cotonou and Lome, you can easily walk up to the gates of the state houses.

Nigerians and lies...Nawa o.

As a student of a Unity School Abuja in the early 1990s, we went on excursions around Aso Rock (Presidential Villa).

Who told you people do not have pictures of Aso Rock?

Aso Rock wey dem dey show for TV every time...abi, you wan make dem show you as Buhari wear boxers lie down for bed?

I just hate this very rampant attitude of always putting your race and continent down just to praise other races and continent. I just hate it because it is too prevalent on this forum. Everything is a put down and comparison like other races and continents don't have their challenges and missteps. How many African presidential palace have you visited to quickly arrive at the conclusion that we are all just terrible people and every one else is so much better. You people are just sick in the head with too much self hatred and inferiority complex. After telling us about your freedom in Brazil hope you will also tell the people you are trying to impress how black people are treated worse than dogs in Brazil.

The well documented issue of racism in Brazil is a lie to you because you are an African boot licker who probably lick the boots of the muzungus(white people) just to be in their good books and deny what is in your face. I don't blame you I blame the poverty that chased you out of Africa to deny the rampant racism against Afro Brazilians. The same denial you people do in the US about racism that made the Afro Americans to resent you.

Just make a daring move near the "Three Arm Zone" adjacent the Eagle Square and those military men could fire you. So unfortunate honestly.

Disgusting to note that ordinary Nigerians have not even seen pictures of ASSHOLE rock, let alone being able to visit it. The press are not even allowed to publish pictures of the place so apart from those privileged to go there officially, none of us know what it looks like. What a shithole for a democratic country!

Baloney. I've been in this shithole for over 40 years and have never seen full pictures of either Dodan Barracks (when it was the seat of power in Nigeria) nor Asshole rock which is the current one. Which TV station has ever shown the full presidential villa including the buildings? Can you tell us how many buildings are in the villa?

What has your staying in Nigeria for 40 or 100 years got to do with the fact that pictures of the Villa being in the public space?

At age 9 or so, I and my schoolmates at FGC were at the Villa on excursion. Certainly, like everywhere in the world, you do not expect that access will be granted into every space at the Villa.

The Villa was even shown very well last week as FFK was received into the APC by President Buhari. FFK was shown right from when he alighted from the vehicle that brought he and Gov. Buni, up to when the climbed upstairs, to the President's office wing.

Na village you dey? Oga, I am a proper Abuja boy. Many 'everyday people' in Nigeria have being to the Villa. Some do regularly sef.

What has telling how many buildings are in the Villa got to do with anything? Quite childish!

Check the attached pictures and tell me if na una house for village that....

You dey mind the mugu?

Nigerians, always getting overly excited over nothing.

In JSS 1 at FGC, we visited certain places in the Villa during our excursion, including other landmarks such as the CBN, Agura Hotels, City Gate, National Mosque, The National Ecumenical Centre, ECOWAS Building, The International Conference Centre etc.

I did a similar visit in Mexico during my Corrosion Engineering Program in Aguascalientes, some years ago. There certainly are restricted areas.

God bless you real good.

It is called 'second-class mentality' or 'mediocrity'. It is the height of loss of self identity and human dignity.

Nigerians in the US will show you everywhere beautiful in the US...aren't there equally beautiful places in Nigeria?

Aren't there tons of slums and places across in the US without power supply, water and motorable roads?

It took the US over half a century before women were allowed to vote in elections, but in Nigeria, women started participating in elections from day 1.

Nigeria and Africa are fantastically corrupt...Yes, yet the US, UK and all the so-called saintly nations do not think it is a problem collaborating in warehousing these monies for them. Who is deceiving who?

We just keep putting ourselves down...

Truth is the people are not happy with the state of the country now...which is surely going to get worse with no effort to remedy the situation.

Check it with the number of coups we had since the 60s. P&t was over looking the state house in marina many years ago and no state house security operatives harrased people walking along the fence.

Not that I fancy any of our leaders, but I can not fault them for fortifying their abode and convoy.
Murtala Mohammed was on his way to mosque in '76,with only his driver and adc before he was assassinated. In shagari case,no gun was fired, except the one shot by shagari adc to kill col. bako when he informed shagari he has been overthrown.

Becoming president or governor is a gold mine, enemies are all around them every time. Transport unionism is a close example of how it is like up there

No use coup give excuses
