Honestly, I haven't noticed that discrimination. I interact with them very well.

I only pity the poor Albinos, who do not have the means to take care of themselves and the unforgiven harsh weather. We had one in school then from a wealthy home. His skin was always looking flawless and spotless. He had an expensive sunglasses and dressed well.

Those from the poor family will feel the impact of the weather on their skin and poverty is always evident in them if they are not well to do.
you are right . The rich ones always have flawless skin and looks fresh

Tbvfhhh. Well sha. Na the OP know watin im experience. Both Albinos oh and those Muslim women that cover everything from head to toe, remaining only slit for their eyes, I enter buses with them very very very well. And there is nothing like anyone being uncomfortable or whatever. In fact, I believe the MOST of the stigma they get (that I've not even seen) has been done away with.
Call me a racist, but I don't enter Keke with those Muslim women that covers everywhere. I no dey try am.

I don't know if this is the right section for this post, but With tears in my eyes am making this write up.

I prepared for Church early this morning, so as to meet first service on time, on getting to the road I stopped a tricycle (keke napep) to take me to my Church.

A man stopped the keke driver, he was a very fair man (albino) putting on a well ironed chinos trouser and a clean white shortleve. At first the kekeman didn't want to stop, I was the one who touched him, that can't you see your been stopped? Before he held his break.

The man walked a few steps and came and sat down beside me, (saying good morning) which I responded with a welcoming face. While we were going I was pressing my phone, still looking at the time...then the keke driver stopped for another passenger, the woman came with his two kids, as soon she made to enter, she saw the albino, immediately she stopped, told the keke driver to keep going (muttering that space won't contain her both children)

I was surprised, because I saw the whole thing, but I kept quiet, not up to 2min the keke driver stopped again for an elderly woman (about 65years old) as soon as she saw the albino in the back seat, she waved her hand to the keke driver, he should go on.

All this while, I was sad, the happiness and joy in me going to Church this morning just died, I felt it..... the fairman stopped at the next intersection, which he paid his fare, but I can see the expression on his face, the shame, the embarrassment (he couldn't even looked at my face).

I can't help to think about the bias treatment from this white FOLKS towards we black men. When we don't even love and respect one another.

At first, I didn't want to talk about it but please let's treat each other's right, Irrespective of our personalities.

I got u right. But cause of it is illiteracy. The difference between the educated and the poorly educated (those that never go beyond secondary school) is shown in our relationship friends and foes. I'm a Yorubaman but it's only in Yoruba tribe that education finds it difficult to withstand culture.

He decided to buy bread and mineral, because of bottle, he had to eat it there.
As he was eating, within a second he say make we dey go fah.
I say what about your mineral now?..
He replied that he fill like to vomit, so he pour away the mineral and took the bread.
As we were walking back, I noticed he was continue staring at one albino on the roadside. that same albino walked passed us, not quite long.
Damn, then I knew what was wrong.
I was pissed, but what am I to say,

nigerias are the most bias creatures on this planet earth, you see them treat an individual like a lesser man Once they know is deaf and dumb, talkless an albino, or cripple that needs no introduction.

That racism for you, i still wonder why blacks likes racially abusing albinos but will shed crocodile tears when they are racially abused by the white race, the other day my neighbour came home with her albino husband and everyone were like "na albino dis mumu go marry? Tufiakwa" the albino guy was very sad likewise i myself, the earlier we humans start realizing that nobody created himself the better for all of us, had it been those albinos were given a chance to choose how they want to look would they have chosen albinism?,

you should have said something in his defense
Not just having pity or being sad ........Soro Soke and educated them

There was a time I was seriously looking out for and albino to have as a girlfriend. I do like those whose skins are fresh without spots or wrinkles.

Yoruba movies can't pass on ridiculing albinism or people with disability.

Mariangeles:
The way they even portray them in our movies make matters worse for them. Like an object of ridicule not worthy of any respect.
If stares could kill, no albino would exist.
Then, there’s a Nigerian tribe that has this superstitious belief of a pregnant woman most likely to birth an albino child if she stares too much at an albino.

According to some reports, they’re are even hunted and killed like animals for some kinds of ritual in some African countries.

Those people are very stupid.
People with albinism are very tender and nice people to be with. If you have not had anyone as a friend yet, I think you should.

Their discrimination experiences make me sober.

This is the same way the Whites treat the blacks.

Not even the blacks, just mistakenly let it escape your mouth you are a Nigerian...they will treat you with so much disgust. You hear them ask you if you are a prince bla bla.

I'm in tears now.
Lol. African prince..

You guys have never seen fine Albino. You would kiss him or her. The way they carry and take care of themselves can be amazing.

Those of you that love bleached skins and oyibo, you can hardly tell the difference to fine Albino.

Their natural blood hair in the hand of a skill hair stylist is enough to attract most people compared to fake animal wigs.

Only unexposed, ignorant people would try to look down on another person in order to make themselves feel superior.
