This guy na stubborn guy. I like your view about life.
You remind me of my Pakistan friend back in school, he always had nature's answer for everything.
A mother i can accept since she is more careful but anyone else is a NO, nor go chop egusi and bitter leaf with Hero then come kiss infant grin
Ofcourse we are taking of mothers, not simply any mouth abeg!

So you are suggesting nature didn't program human but only animals? undecided
Nature gave you a sixth sense for a reason. These animals don't have same, nature does not give the same. Some are given more while others are given less.
A cat will lick its infant clean while a human would wash/bath... sixth sense.

I know folks who still kiss their mothers or dads even in old age. Na case by case if you ask me. undecided
Photos of grown ladies (Nigerians) that are kissing their dad on the lips usually cause serious internet noise.

I see nothing wrong as it is her child.. that you were sexualy abused have left a scar in your memory but you have to deal with it..

Maybe you should let her understand your point of view rather than just prohibiting her authoritatively from the act...

Everybody loves the feel of the lips of babies bro.. don't be mad..

Feel of what? Even if it means introducing germs and bacteria to them.

My wife is fond of kissing my 6months boy in the mouth. I personally don't like this and I have told her to stop it but she refused.

This issue in causing a serious argument in my home and I want to take a serious action since she has refused to stop it.

Please I need advice from experienced parents.

I was abused sexual as a child by a cousin staying with us and there are cases of incest around me. I don't want any of this to happen to my son.

The teenage girl staying with us always sees my wife kissing my son in the mouth and I am afraid she my copy it and start doing it.

Please am I wrong? Am I over reacting? Is it a normal practice? Please advise me.

Apart from moral aspect of it, medically is wrong.
Little kid of few months is still fragile, the immune system is not strong yet.

I understand your fear, but kissing a 6 months old baby is not bad at all, even from your maid, as they child aged more the kissing will stop without anybody telling them. Don't add hypertension to your unnecessary fear. Read Job 3:25, What people greatly fear most often happen to them.

The reason a human mother does not lick her young clean is because nature did not program that in to her. undecided

Nature giving humans ability to think does not then mean we are to believe ourselves wiser than Nature is.

You need to see a therapist, you're obviously still dealing with trauma from your abuse.

There's nothing wrong with a mother kissing her baby in the mouth, you're just projecting your trauma on your wife and child.

Please, deal with it before it ruins you.

This right here is 100% correct.

So have you considered if nature did not equip women to kiss their infants on the lips?
If it did they won't be getting infections, don't you think so?

When you were abused did you go for therapy? You need it, because it will destroy your home if you are not properly heal, from the tryna of the past.

Because you were abused by an older lady, you feel your wife can abused your son,
Please any man and women sexually abused as a child should please go for psychological healings before thinking of marriage .

Uncle you are over reacting , she is the mother mother and new born babies bond that way.

See a psychologist on you ur case.

Me staying with those guys for a day is like labor most times.

I dislike people that berate or belittle house wives.

Please dont get the guy wrong. My wife did the same with my twin babies, a boy and a girl. Buh when the are i year. I see them often playing trying to kiss each other. Imagine a brother and sister kising each other mouth to mouth. I sugget he stops it. They even went ahead praticing it with me. The boy is used to kiss me mouth to mouth. I have to warn their mom to stop it at all cost. I asked her to change it to side peck kiss. Its really dangerous. Am talking from my own experience

According to aproko doctor

“so many adult have blister that occurs on the side of thier lips, it is caused by a virus known as Herpes Simplex. A baby's immune system is not properly developed, kissing them on thier faces can cause such an infection that affects even the brain. This has happened".
