I use to tell people that I am living someone else's life. Truth is that why I am still alive, only God knows.

I won't be able to say all since incidence were numerous.

The first was when I was a toddler. Mum said I picked the local incecticide (A. K. A Ota pia pia{as deadly as sniper} ) from where it was hidden behind the fridge compressor and drank it up. I know the drugs I took wasn't why I survived since she also said I didn't even purge.

Others were too numerous. My life is just "testimony". There is no one telling me that there is no God.

I have on several occasions when death was just a hair's breath away, but i'm alive today only because Someone up there decided that my time to depart this world had not yet come, some of which I'm going to share here.

The first was one I wasn't even aware of myself when it happened because I was just an infant at the time. It was my mum who later told me about it.

She and my dad were about to zoom off to church with the car when they had a crackling sound underneath the car, and had to stopped the car immediately.

When they came down from the car, guess who they saw under the car? Yes it was yours truly, to their greatest shock. I was the one under the car that made the car to make that crackling sound, after they had just began to move, but please don't ask me what I was doing there, I didn't even know that I was there at any point. But thankfully when I was assessed by them, I was very fine and yet bouncing, no bruises, nothing, which was also shocking but a much welcomed one.

However they were still in complete shock because of what had happened as the thought of how differently things could have panned out couldn't leave their mind.

Just imagine what the news have been would be like regardless that it wasn't deliberate. That they had ran over their child on their way to the church and he died as a result. It was better imagined than lived but thank God, He who never sleeps nor slumbers was watching over me that day, so it panned out in a way they could still share the story with me much later, not without me.

Now I had looked to the left and thought it was clear, and then to the right, but just as I was about to cross, I had "voom", as a car pass me in high speed. I was in shock and wondering where the car came from, because it was that close. The car would have just carried me along to where i didn't plan to go, but thank God things didn't pan out that way. However what happened that day is something that's still vividly on my mind because up til now, I can't explain how that happened and where the car came from.

Yeah. Quite fortunate to be alive
Firstly, when I was in SS2, I had a face to face encounter with death. I used to participate in marathon races. So on that fateful day, I was almost at the 3rd quarter of the race yet I hadn't taken any water nor glucose. Not that I didn't want to, but because our house master failed on his path. It was always the duty of the house maaters to position house members at strategic points of the race to provide water and glucose to his participants. Other house masters did but mine didn't.

Provisions were usually made in this regard financially and up till today, I haven't come to terms with why he did what he did.

I pleaded with ogher House members on the road to give me water but they refused - that what they had were for their contestants. That was the last thing I remembered till I woke up 9 hours later. I was checking my watch. It was around 4pm but I woke up past 1 am.


I would have been long gone but for one ugly-faced woman who constantly frightened me away whenever I wanted to cross over to that paradise before me. There was just one visible line separating where I was and where I wanted to enter. I would normally change location so as to sneak in but she would always fly there before me to frighten me back. I would always shout Jesus. I learnt when I woke up that I was only shouting Jesus. He saved me.

Secondly, I once fell from a tree and heard my parents crying. I decided to turn back because if their weeping.

Lastly, a live high tension wire fell just t few inches away from me just months ago.

Brethren, it's not just my time yet. I shall not die prematurely. Amen!

Wow, I had escaped death so many times and i know that it can only be God........ When i Remember the time i was in coma in 2016, i just give thanks to God for sparing my life. Two times in 2017

First one was when I was crossing the road after it just rained and I slipped because of how wet the ground was, a bus was coming with what I would call a good amount of speed. I no even know wetin move me from where I dey o but my heart cut because that could have been the end.
A man in my church died in that manner in 2019 when a Hilux hit him so hard after he slipped that his brain even splattered on the ground.


2nd was about three months after the first when armed robbers broke into my home. I saw two but had no idea that there were three outside. I try from Rambo na there give me double smackdown and pointed a gun to my face. I no know wetin do the guy but e later komot the gun.

I even thought the gun wasn't loaded but they shot at someone as they were making an escape.

About 7 years ago, I was at Oshodi around 11pm, looking for ATM to use. I passed by some touts partying, so I stayed in the middle of the road, so that if I had to run, I would be able to do so successfully.

I passed by the touts, I still kept waliking in the middle of the road... All of a sudden, I heard a car engine rev up behind me. Apparently, the driver of the car was scared of the touts too, and sped up the car, coming at me at full speed. I ran left, he turned left, I ran right, he turned right (out of panic), next thing I knew was I was flying in the air. The car hit my side, and I spun around multiple times before landing on my shoulder.

It all happened within a couple of seconds. I think I was out for a few minutes, because when I got up the touts had surrounded me, and they were saying in Yoruba, "ko ti ku sha." He isn't dead.

My shoulder was dislocated and I had a few scratches, but nothing so serious. It was a crazy experience.

Was traveling in a commercial bus on high speed wen the back tire suddenly bust. Luckily there were no on coming vehicles cause it was a one lane high way. the driver was able to control the car till it stopped. It was frm the incident that I learnt wen in such situation, NEVER APPLY YOUR BRAKES cause na serious yawa if u do. Had the driver done so, the bus for somersault.

After I bought my first car, the only car I ever drove, I no go driving school, just normal street driving, till one day recently I wanted to go to Onitsha from owerri to get a document and come back same day.

7 am. I took off. Accompanying me is one bootylicious I met on Facebook. I wanted to use that trip and get close to her well for easy access.

Car is a sound Lexus es, I bought fuel, guaged my tires we hit the road. In less than one hour, I de Onitsha. I was doing 100-120 km/hr. I went into the office, I suffered a 4 hour delay, mission accomplished and we set for return. We branched somewhere, ate food and started moving.

By this time, I was doing 150 on the express.

I reach mgbidi in 45 mins, on a downward slope, I was overspeeding. One korope bus de in front in the middle of the road, I blow horn blow horn bus is not shifting, I am way too close to rely on my brakes. Immediately I swerved, come see giant potholes my heart skipped, I jump the potholes and lost control of the steering. I was struggling with it, tires were screeching, road is empty. I noticed I was still matching my gas pedal while struggling to control steering, e shock me. Then I stepped on my brakes and the denso OEM brake pads did wonders. Car stopped but was already spinning. It stopped at first spin and lo and behold, the gear don enter neutral I don't know how. I position am front and continued home.

Did I stop overspeeding, I did not.

How manage this car no somersault, I don't know

Everyday we face a thousand ways to die.... Sometime this year,i was on a bike, and the aboki took one way and was speeding,an oncoming truck scratched almost killed us

Thank God for your life. Accident can also happen if you carry Yoruba or Igbo man bike but you see those aboki they are careless and their orientation abouth death differs from ours and never will I make the mistake of letting aboki carry me on an express road.

That reminds me of a guy that wanted to save his brother that was drowning, thats how both of them died. Thank God for your life

I still remember the day i got shock by electric, I wanted to go and switch on the water pumping machine, I didn't know it was shocking.

It was around 7pm in the evening, immediately I power on the machine then turn to switch the flow of water, that's how I couldn't remove my hand from there, I was dragging with the current and shouting at the same time hoping someone will come and turn of the light, the gen was on and I was the only one at the backyard.

I passed out after some seconds I guess, only to wake up to find myself a meter away from the spot it happened, immediately I got up I ran outside, shouting jesus jesus, the electric shock was still in my body, like something pressing me down and I felt helpless.

It was when a lady poured water on my head, that the shock went down and regain myself.
My tongue was white, my toes were burnt even till now is till have those burnt like red black blood clot.

It was a crazy experience, some people were saying thank God it threw me away, if not it would have been a different story.

From my experiences though, it seems the contrary, that I was not destined to die by car accident, hence it not being able to kill me even when it should.

I was driving from Yola to Keffi fully loaded with honey, as I got to hawan kibo slope before forest, the compressor hose pulled out and the air in my truck finished. The implication of this is that the brake system is gone.

I lost control of the truck but I was so lucky to sight a broken down truck by the road, I don't know how I was able to successfully hit the packed truck with minimal damage, we (I & motor-boy) would have died if I missed it.

God has been wonderful to me in such situations, I'm always on the road but God has always been ahead of me wherever I go.

Maiduguri 2012/2013 when it was hot a soldier was beckoning on us to come, but if you know NA sometimes they are dare devil's, so it's was evening one of the most dangerous times, we decided to run can you believe this soldier opened fire on us, poor unarmed civilians but thank god no fatalities, but I can hear bullets passing phew phew I will never forget that day in my life, but many close encounters borno Tori dey plenty oooo like when boko boys came to our area started killing everyone for supporting the Nigerian army killed like almost 60 ppl or wen boko boys killed three soldiers for Our area soldiers carried or let me say abducted almost like 100 ppl uptil today no one came back, "weeping" that's why if I see stories like bandits or unknown gun men swears it's civilians I'm pitying places like orlu or wts it's name in imo they know wat I'm talking Abt.

Yes many time. But God save me. From accident to electric shock and fatal falls. But God has been merciful. Thank God

My time in the sea trade gave me lots of close calls.
Near sinkings in unrescuable spots,near high speed collisions,navigating blind,etc...

Back then I was in 300 level in the University, I was coming back home after a long day of lecture. I took a bus going home and immediately i got to my bus-stop it started raining at the exact side of the road where i was standing. To my surprise it wasn't raining at the other side of the road, so i decided to cross over to the other side. Immediately i crossed over a car came from no where with top speed and crashed the wall at the exact spot where i was previously standing. At that moment i knew it was a miracle because the car will most likely crash me on that spot.
