And OP's father is alive because they are spending money they dont have for a project that will likely not succeed. I will encourage him having a heart to heart with the doctor on the probability of the man comin back, after that its a matter of diverting his resources elsewhere and letting nature take its course.
Poor people die daily of such ailments without lasting a week.

I had issues with my lecturers as my attendance were poor and my course adviser said it to my face that I would never graduate but I never told them about my travails or they wouldn't even believe me anyways cos they were mostly SADIST,All Engineering lecturers in Uniben especially Mechanical/PRODUCTION ENGINEERING from 08/09 upward,OGUN KILL ALL OF UNA!!! Life was tough for me and my Mum....

Now that I am a Man and supposed to be focus on my life future and raising a family but this is still taking a toll on me emotionally,financially,mentally and I will come home to my mum nagging,crying that she has tried enough over the years and i might come home one day and she has left ....THIS BREAKS ME,I AM TIRED,I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO....I LOVE MY DAD,HE IS IN PAINS TOO!!!

I passed through something similar. Dad was sick for years. We eventually lost him late last year after spending in millions. Time and effort nko? Mental stress nko? Yet, till date, I still feel guilty for not being able to diagnose the illness and responding quickly enough.
But that's me anyway.

Euthanzing is the correct word here. I swear if he could talk to you, he would tell you to go ahead. He is in pains, seeing y'all going through all that to take care of him is making him sad also. He just can't tell y'all. Hospitals does euthanization, you just have to talk to your mom and brothers about it. It's not a decision you can take alonew, except you have a heart like mine. The hospital would make it faster and easier. I think they'll put him to sleep first, then inject something that'll stop his heart. Thereby, he wouldn't even feel anything.

Oga, I have experienced same alright, you Know the sickness of your dad,my dad had different sickness all in one body, my dad own was worst than stoke, hospital to hospital, in this Nigeria and outside Nigeria, I wish I have my dad, alive in that sickness that killed him badly than dead alrighty.

Euthanasia, or assisted suicide has to be voluntary. The invalid has to give his consent, except for cases where he/she has no control of their cognitive faculties. That is not the case here.

I sympathise with you but hear a lot of excuses,you need to have informed your school lecturers on the situation and showed them some hospital paper work some of them would have shown compassion and assisted you but you are here asking Ogun to kill them.
Your father,s condition is degenerative so at this stage it is too keep him comfortable and free from pain there are prescription only high strength ones like Dihydrocodeine and morphine.They are affordable and can be used at home since hospital bills are piling.
It is sad you would think of taking his life as if he forced your mum to abort you we would not be reading this story today.You can decide with your family not to resuscitate him if he has an episode that’s a DNR but should not take a life.
May Your family find strength to bear this hardship.

Firstly I would commend you for your efforts and how you managed to conquer engineering amidst all odds.

You have to call on your siblings, time to work together and harder, he's still alive for some reason that would be known to you sooner or later.
