akdjr: Nigerias independence was based on a tripod. The North, The East and The West. If subgroups within these three groups are so docile as to not ask for their basic political rights, that's their own kettle of fish. The East can not follow them to be lukewarm. Whatever, the message from the East to the north and west is simple: After Buhari, kindly Surrender the presidency to the East or this country will never know peace again. We are not your political slaves.. It's either the East is given a chance the way the west was given a chance with Obasanjo or we all go our seperate ways. The choice is yours.. 1 Like 1 Share |

Rugaria: Fielding a presidential candidate of igbo origin by APC shouldn't be too hard. In fact, APC asked for massive support from igbos in 2019 with a promise to give your region its ticket in 2023 but the hatred wouldn't allow you guys to visibly support the party. If APC and PDP give their tickets to SE in 2023, we all know the party you guys will massively vote for. That's the problem APC has with you guys. 3 Likes 1 Share |

GetMeRight: Political choices are made based on interests. Buhari was a calamity, is a calamity and will always be a calamity. With the benefit of hindsight, it's obvious that we were right to avoid his candidacy. If in your warped base understanding of politics, you refer to that as hate, that's your own cup of tea. Our duty is not to always line up to vote for your type. We have to vote to defend our interests! Buhari had no single good intentions for the igbo..We voted shagari, voted Obasanjo, voted Abiola, voted Yaradua... How many igbos have you voted for? You always find reasons to avoid getting caught casting your tribal votes for any candidate of igbo extraction... Ekwueme didn't do enough? Rochas didn't do enough? Okadigbo didn't do enough? You see your treacherous life? I'm the one who always votes for your sons. You have never voted for me, yet you accuse me of hatred!? Hatred Kee u dia... 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: South-East Governors Demand 2023 Presidency by Deadlytruth(m): 7:45am On Oct 10, 2021 |
FamTomx2:You are the ignoramus here who needs to learn Nigeria's political history. You claim you supported Jonathan because you didn't want a Northerner yet the Yaradua whom Jonathan succeeded got bloc votes from your region in 2007 and would have again swept your region again had he survived to vie for a second term in 2015. I guess Yaradua was a Southerner, right? And may I ask you if you had assumed that it wasn't a Northerner (a Fulani) that Jonathan would have still handed power over to in 2019 had he won reelection in 2015? You are obviously deceiving yourself. Why is your beloved PDP currently having cold feet about zoning its 2023 ticket to your region despite all the service of slavery you have religiously offered to the party against all odds for the past 22 years and you are still ready to vote for the Northerner it is sure to throw up soon? You now term as useless all the appointments he showered you Easterners with and claim he failed you for not restructuring? But why do you Easterners find it difficult to maintain a single line of argument? Wasn't it this very issue of appointment that made you people love him and crown him a unifier even though he abandoned you completely on infrastructure? Don't you currently term Buhari a failure for denying you appointment even though he has given you better attention on infrastructure than your Oga GEJ? When other tribes including even the North were carpeting him for the wasteful and profligate Almajiri schools project for which he allocated a whooping N500bn, weren't you Easterners the ones who took exception and applauded him all the way and blindly? And may I remind you that when Jonathan won in 2011 his support base cut across the entire South and most parts of Middle belt but he lost in 2015 because you Southeasterners' support for him had come look like a hedge of sychophancy around him which alienated the SW and MB away from him. Your support in 2015 became toxic to him as it made him a hardsell in the eyes of SW and MB hence his defeat. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Bros your assumed political arrangement does not exist in Nigeria. Go back and check the geopolitical zones and their make up. If you recognize only North (19 states) , west (6 states) and East (5 states) as the political arrangement in Nigeria, you expect the zone with the highest states to rotate power with other zone like you pointed out? Mind you you forget the south south. I have never seen where a region just sit and demand for power shift in a democratic system of government without wanting to negotiate with the region with the block vote. It is not done anywhere Rugaria: 1 Like |

GetMeRight: Even if APC gives her ticket to the SE and PDP gives it to a Fulani man, I can tell you that Igbos will vote nearly 100% for the Fulani man because of hate for APC. I have said it that should APC make the mistake of giving her ticket to an Igbo man or woman in 2023, that will be the end of the party as it will go extinct and become history in the politics of Nigeria. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kyase: Though, I have no contribution to make here because of the South East governors, but I have an observation which needs to be corrected. Orji Uzor Kalu has never been an OBJ boy. Calling Kalu an OBJ boy is trying to boost his image and CV. He cannot even be called IBB boy despite believing so much in IBB power and always run to pay homage to IBB. I know a lot of IBB boys, they are not Kalu type of person and character. Kalu is more attached to IBB despite the fact that IBB and IBB boys are not looking at his side. In 2002 / 2003, he begged PDP not to allow OBJ goes for second term so as to prevent Yorubas from consolidating unto power after June 12 crisis. He said 8 years in power would allow the Yorubas to consolidate. His credential is mainly attending Unimaid and his public display of closeness to IBB. He doesn't have anything to do with OBJ despite his mother having to plead on his behalf when he was having issues with OBJ as governor. Finally, what is happening now is what a radical Northerner said since 2019 which I have posted severally. The South East governors hosted Southern governors forum at Enugu, but none of them in attendance because of 2023 Presidency and VAT issues. They have never contributed anything to Southern Governors Forum since inception. They are so full of themselves, so self centered and I Before Others behavior beclouded them . They are so weak and timid that they don't believe in the power of Southern unity and still harbour vendetta against South West and South South. They are now begging the North for Presidency. I wish them well. 2 Likes |

Igbos had being submissive and committed to the both in politics and in economical growth in this God forsaken country filled of political jobbers and people of political cluelessness, They had endured political subdivisions, all quarters of the region and it's political system has failed them, Those groups of Igbos that are talking about 2023 presidency are those that are speaking for themselves , We freedom lovers had seen that this present and the future people manning the affairs of una country amounts to nothing productive, 61 years gone! Nothing to write home about your country and you are proud, are you not a shameless FOOL . IPOB will continue their struggle, hard way is the only way. Abeg swerve, you don't worth my time here.. Danjikanbauchi: At that time, Yaradua had spent only 3 years in office, and SE seriously supported Jonathan to abandon the zoning arrangement, arguing that contests should be based on merit and not any mundane rotational arrangement. I remember many people reminded the SE politician that they'll be the losers ultimately if zoning is abolished but they damned everybody and shuned zoning just because they thought Jonathan was going to favour them. And he did favour them and they enjoyed it. They have eaten their own cake using Jonathan's mouth. Or is the SE now back in love with zoning again? 3 Likes 1 Share |
