Jesus also said to d rich man sell all ur properties /wealth and follow me. He went ahead in the same passage "it is easier for a camel to pass the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
Being a true Christian isn't meant to be easy. Matthew 6:33 talks about heavenly wealth and eternal life not wealth on earth

A rich man who doesn't know Christ

"Seek Christ first and every other thing (Money, properties) will be added onto it"

Many of these Pastors started humbly from nothing, they were preaching the gospel of Christ when there was no monetary gain, after winning souls for Christ, God is adding other things which he promised to add and this is why their blessings keep on increasing and their coast is being enlarged.

So whoever is reading this "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need" Matthew 6:33

This is a false quotation of the Bible and subsequently, false interpretation. The Bible never said God will give you everything you need.

The Bible said God will give you what to eat, drink and put on. Food, drink, clothes. The basics of life

This is legal as long as he isn't a politician that won't declare such a company.

Why is this nonsense always coming up before every election

From panama to Pandora

Who are the journalist 600 of them .. that are looking for free funds

Who have even investigate their claims and rubbish

Nigerians will buy anything everything as long as it to throw dirt to perceive enemy.. political or not.

The pandora paper is investigative journalists that don't care where you are from or what type of influence you have.

And they do their work all over the world, including the mismanagement of oil money by the Arabian sheikhs.

So if you think they are some kind of which hunting team set up by Nigerian government to discredit your holy Peter obi, then you better have a rethink and smell the coffee

Since it is a pastor...lol you will type this but if it was Atiku your typing will change immediately. The problem of Nigeria is the citizens.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it being in the pages of newspaper.
Don't be emotional because it's ur pastor.

My pastor? Perhaps the problem with Nigeria is that her citizens make judgements on mere assumptions.

I repeat that anyone who has broken the laws should be dragged to the court and not just media trial.

Churches should not be patronizing tax havens. Always give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Most tax havens are mammon worshipping entities
grin He did not patronize the “tax haven” as a CHURCH, he did as a person. Mr Oyedepo! Besides church funds are not subject to tax in Nigeria. So, is the business out to evade tax or just a citing in an inviting BUSINESS LOCATION? Pls reply

Lol. Jesus said “give to Ceaser what is Ceaser’s and give to God what is God’s”.

Christ is the bedrock of Christianity, He recognises that people should pay tax and not avoid them. Not criticising our daddy GOs though, they know best.
GOs don't know best. They are scamming you glaringly

You guys only employ logic when it's convinient for you Christians.
How come you don't apply this logic to all the ridiculousness in the Bible?

Stop intentionally mangling the bible. Christ clearly was against being worldly wealthy.
The quotation clearly refers to your NEEDS!
Here's the quote:

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

You can be wealthy, cool. Just don't mangle the bible

Bishop David Oyedepo setting up such a company is not a crime. If the story is true, he must have used his personal money, which he got ligitimate and not the church money.

I feel govt should be taxing churches according to the number of branches they have. My opinion though.
