I was giving an example of a similaritiy Ala has to do with earth and so does Ogboni only difference is that the Ogboni formed a group around it meaning that Ogboni it more like the Ekpe society of the Igbos

I'll try and find what is actually considered Ala in the Yoruba religion but I assure you there's a name for it

Ori has everything to do with Chi it is the spiritual self that resides in the body and they are stilll different languages so how exactly do you expect them to have the same name?

And it is impossible for the Kin and Kith of the Igbos to be in Central Africa because those in Central Africa belong to a completely different language group which the Igbos are not part of, Central Africa is Bantu meanwhile Yoruba are niger congo just like the Igbo so that statement alone tells me that you don't know shit about DNA, culture or even similarities in DNA and culture
If I post a picture of someone from Igboland, Southern Cameroon, Angola, Equatorial Guinea and Congo, can you spot them out easily unlike when I post Igbo man in the midst of other Nigerians except those from Akwa Ibom and Cross River?

Ori has nothing to do with Chi. This whole argument has become redundant.

We look phenotypically more like Central African tribes than Yorubas and west Africans.
And traditionally, we traded with Central Africans.
Fernando Po, Panya( Equitorial Guinea), Gabon, Cameroon (Ambazonia) were all our precolonial/colonial place of interactions, and not Ghana, Togo, Yorubaland and co in West Africa.

Where did you get evidence that stipulates 98% of Igbos dislike Nigeria? I have no problem with a referendum but it should be done when Nigeria is in a better position as in when a new constitution, federalism, civil reforms etc have been put in place but if proper change isn't realized in 2023 I will join you guys in pushing for secession
Can you expatiate on what you mean by "proper change" in 2023?

Don't tell me when a Southerner takes over as president o.

I'll love to know who among everyone jostling for the post now is the Messiah.

I agree Okpara was doing amazing things for the Eastern Region and at some point other regions would have observed the way other regions are working and would replicate that same thing they were doing in their own states so there likely would have been massive investments in industry and agriculture ( Eastern Region ) Investments to make education and healthcare free ( Western Region ) And investments to make ranching more sustainable ( Northern Region ) The way in which Nigeria would have develop if the first coup had never happened is crazy but all we can do now is look to the future and see how we can improve on our past mistakes

I don't care where said person is from all they need to be is compassionate, a person of integrity and a good leader and all they have to promise is
free healthcare
free education
restructuring
new constitution
But they would need a massive party structure for this my hope is the new third force coaltion currently in the works between all parties in Nigeria except APC and PDP will produce a massive range of good leaders from the LGA level to the Presidency levek and we can get the reforms we need but Nigerians will need to wake up in order for this to take place

The British didn't fight any war to be free of the Romans they were freed when the Roman empire collapsed from the onslaught of the Germans and they didn't fight any war to be free of the Roman Catholic Church either they simply persecuted those who fought against the conversion of the state and in the first place the basis of the separation from the Roman Catholic church was stupid he just wanted a son and the church wouldn't allow him to divorce
Not all wars are fought with guns and nuclear weapons.

I'm not against the war, I'm happy that it happened but we must get the fact that the war happened becuase of the injustice, the killings and again Gowon hijacking the center but Gowon is no longer there, we have our own weapons so why can't stand up to any enemy without declaring a new country, Biafra means running lets fight until Nigeria Nigeria becomes a failed state if it what they want then everyone goes home, I'm very happy that the war happened to us Igbos becuase at the end of the day we own Nigeria and we shall deal with anyone who tries to break it it in the future

China has a death toll of over 100 million since independence does that make China a contraption?

The ports being closed is due to the lack of good leadership but you cannot ignore the fact that three ports are under construction in the east the Warri port, Bakassi port and Bonny port so to say there's no progress being made in free trade to the east is false even with bad leadershio we're moving forward

The rest of your points are emotional and not based upon any actual economic basis so i'll ignore those the fact of the matter is that having an independent nation won't ensure progress or even good leadership you can't vote good leaders now why would you be able to vote good leaders in ethnic states just answer that question for me this is the sixth time i've asked
The ports were closed by British and Nigeria in 1967 following the blockade of Biafra till date. Its not due to any lack of good leadership.
It is a calculated plan to make Ndigbo permanent economic refugees in other parts of Nigeria. A move which is working perfectly well in Lagos and Western Nigeria.

As for your Chinese example. That is the answer to your why Ndigbo are strict with the few "saboteurs" determined to make Ndigbo continue in servitude and disgrace in Nigeria for their selfish gain.

China is made up of more than 80% Han Chinese numbering over 1 billion so for the Chinese to become great, they have to cut out the few West philic saboteurs that prefer China being under Western cage which unfortunately are up to 70 million (that is roughly 7 percent of just Han population)
I doubt those against Igbo freedom in Igboland are up to that 7%. So it China paid such price, it won't be that big of the future of Igboland.

Remember that you were the one that brought China into this, which more like someone coming with a rope for his hanging

What are you talking about look at Michael Okpara what exactly was happening to his Eastern Region that was so bad? The federal government worked with him to set up a federal mortgate scheme so if they worked with him to set up schemes that benefitted him and his people how exactly woudl the Eastern Region be worse for it?

Infact I suspect that had Nigeria continued he would have become premier at some point after Azikiwe or Awolowo

That blockade ended long ago and the ports have been opened just recently Onne port received a massive boat and they're currently constructing a 200 million dollar expansion to Onne port to make it a lot larger and more viable so to say they're still marginilazing the east till this day is wrong and I told you very clearly that more then 3 port projects are currently in the works in the Eastern region and a railway connecting one of these ports to Onitsha, Aba and Port harcourt is literally under construction although Nigeria isn't being led well progress is still being made so imagine what would happen if we actually had good leadership let's be positive and not negative

And those people in China who died were killed by Famine because of the horrible economic policies of Mao so what you said was wrong

There'd be no reason to leave if there's no marginilzation or problems, the fall of Nigeria into civil war started with the coup then the centralization of Nigeria into a unitary system of government then came the rejection of the Aburi Accord then as a punishment after the civil war Gowon and Obasanjo increased the oppression on the Igbos then we had a chance for change but instead got Shagari so the bad leadership continues but in the end if we can go back to the system we had at the start and make sure the military doesn't have the capacity for a coup then we should be good this time around

I ask myself, are Americans going to contest election here or is the structure and culture of strong men as against strong institutions finally eroded.

Even if Obama is president here, he would fail!

The structure itself is set up to make any who's ready to work, fail.

There's no hope for Nigeria and there's no prize in saying the obvious.

Look at the voting for instance. Are you gonna change the fraudulent electoral process now?

How then do you want this magic you expect in 2023 to happen, when election is voided over card reader malfunction in some places, but will allow election without the card reader continue in some places.

I'm sorry but I don't see any hope for an egalitarian society till thy kingdom comes. Except we unbundle like you suggested, be it restructuring or secession.

Before the war, the North opted for secession, the west too on the account of Igbo dominion the North wanted to float the Araba the West too took secessionist steps by Awo telling his people that Zik stuck out the secessionist clause meanwhile the west built their own embassy in UK is that not an attempt at secession

The fact remains that the Military would continue to be unitary becuase given regions each regions would virtually make laws that is intended to hurt others so Biafra would eventually heal and the North and West would get back to wailling, the North and West would get back to their elier fights while the Igbos would be the bride, the VAT issue is the eye opener,

The Igbos would get back to our maverick political status soon and 2023 would give you the game change ahead they had an option to exit but didn't now Nigeria's unity is damn costly and thats exactly what pure Igbos want, no one is more Nigerian than a pure Igbo

My view is the people will stand up and take a stance very soon maybe not 2023 but still 2027

The fraudulent voting process would once again be solved if the people took a stance you think one man can defeat a 100 angry people trying to get their votes registered?

They bring in gun men? We bring in our own if ESN can get guns so can we the people and we will fight back

My view is that the whole structure of Nigeria will be destroyed very soon not the nation itself but the whole form of government, the constitution, the civil sector even the way the currency is run will be changed and the sooner this happens the better it is for Nigeria and i'm very hopeful that it can happen soon because everything is aligning right now

Youths are getting ready to vote
Parties are merging to form a third force
Anger is rising amongst the people
People are finding more solutions to our problems
PDP and APC are continously failing reducing confidence in them
and finally we are starting to see our similarities and seeing where we can move forward
with the way things are going we're either set for a revolution or a massive change of who is in power

The problem with the first republic was tribalism had Zik won in the Western region as he was supposted to then a lot of the problems and animosity between the Yoruba and Igbo throughout the first republic would have never taken place and had Zik not supported Balewa instead of Awolowo as premier Nigeria likely would have achieved 100% ,iteracy decades ago but that's life proper leadership will come eventually

I prefer Zik supporting Balawa to Awo, his educational proposal to the North was a mere greek gift with a long time plan of destroying the caliphate by anticipating the Hausas

It's the exact same way that the leaders of a lot of kingdoms in Igbo land didn't want Western education or culture in his land but look at the benefits it has given us today.

The north will eventually get universal education it's not possible for them to not be educated and it doesn't even have to be western they can be taught in Arabic language and script but the ultimate point is that they should be literate and educated this is what Aminu Kano was trying to achieve but the top crop of Northern leaders were against it.

I support Arabic education for the North or something like that but they need our support not the Awolowo style when you realise he just want to launch a literacy warfare against the Caliphate/Fulanis

Education is great but if the intention is not genuine then it must be rejected, there is no way I personally will support a system of education that I know would destabilise the North, Awolowo's intention was covered in dangerous emancipation, which even the British did not instigate against the North

The Igbos and the North would always be better at respecting each other's space, if Nzeogwu did not lead the coup, I know that we could have been dealing with Northern terrorism from time to time

But it could have stayed in the North and once the Military could have stopped the terrorism if the system was not destroyed to this nepotistic one we have today the Igbos could have constituted the majority of the Military elite squad as it was

Nigeria's problem is quite simple but deeper than ordinary politicking can solve it first understanding our differences it is not even too late to stop the terrorism in the North,

That's if you are arguing on the basis of the second reason why Biafra lost, the first reason was that supposedly Biafrans was opposed to the war secessionist option or at best there was errors on the signals of support I had told you we lost becuase so many Igbo had different suggestion for the war,

Zik, Was opposed to Milirary option, Nzeogwu was opposed to the war and he preferred Nigeria and believed the war should be channelled to Kaduna instead of Lagos, Emmanuel Ifeajuna believed that once Ojukwu and Gowon were out of the picture the war should be over, there was no unity of purpose so tell me how we could win,

So many people were deliberately ignored Biafra of today is quite different at least it is surrounded in a call for referendum, it does not make logical sense that a real well planned and focused war that Nigeria would win Biafra but it turned out the way it did.

Ojukwu could have appealed to Zik, Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna, Ifeajuna could have been the face of Biafra giving his international reach then as an Olympic medalist while appointing MI Okpara as the premier while himself would be the chief of Army or Defence staff

These things happened too fast so I don't blame anyone, it had happened and it had happened but this generation needn't repeat a mistake I had told you,

Terrorism in the north is largely due to unemployment and lack of education make everybody literate to some degree whether english or arabic and make sure to invest heavily in agriculture, mining and manufacturing and the north should run terrorism out of its system in 10 years or less
