[quote author=atheistandproud post=106705949]OP I am not religious. But may whatever you worship bless you. I am seeing that women are clearly refusing to address any of the points he has made so far. Well it's not as if they have any shame. The only place I have seen actual female marginalization na northern Nigeria but those ladies dey milk am to their advantage.[/quote What do you mean they milk am men or female |

Kayyy:whats more funny is that, women in there small mind know they don't support one another enough, buh they rather shift the blame on men. Still on support, in music entertainment world you see likes of olamide, zlatan, naira marley, davido, even skales supporting n promoting both male & female artist in the industry. what are the likes of tiwa savage, yemi alade, sheyi shay & co doing asides shaking turgid yansh & oppressing one another. why can these women focus on promoting & supporting young female artists. They say men are subjugating women, buh are women lifting themselves. can a gurl with ride possibly give an unknown gurl a lift on the highway ![]() |

shaybebaby:Habba, is this the length we want to drag this to? I want to believe you are educated and you have brains to reason, I mean what's the point of your education if you actually made this statement. You can't certainly believe that Nigeria has a Law that stops women from contesting for positions. Women have been contesting for public positions in Nigeria and they get it and you are definitely not ignorant of this. UK Laws are easily documented online which makes it easier to bring them as proof at a click on a button on your phone, while Nigerian Laws take a lot of time to find online to bring as proof. Not that it doesn't exist or It's not a fact. Water is wet, why the hell does anyone have to proof that point to you. Sigh, this your statement really pissed me off this morning! |

Godoverevery:You have seen the dictionary definition of marginalization. You have to first accept that they are MARGINALIZED before you start raising these other points! |

Walkee:Here is dictionary definition of marginalization. You have to first accept that women are marginalized in Nigeria and Nigerian trubes before you start raising any other points. Of course a white person can easily win election in Nigeria

Hello everyone.... This is the truth....let's take out technology and go back to the old ways ....men are dominant (this is nature it's self) In a jungle there is always a king...we are not dominant because we chose to,we are because our bodies are built for it. Women in essence is the opposite of what we are. The society was made by man because women alone would be extint by bigger predators ...the marginalization syndrom does not exist with mother and child...this example is the reason women are limited .the average woman is a child and has to be taught by the dominant gender the mother(male).we created technologies that helped women gain confidence in nature.women can now hunt with guns and kill smaller meat for food..women can now eat without needing the male to severe the disgusting parts of the kills. This is the reality ..the moment we understand that shouting marginalization will bring more pictures about how women are the lower being .the fasters we lose our achievements |

The Scandinavian example is what the sexist have achieved...the system of equality failed because egality was absent...they can never be two husbands. Another truth is that marriage is not an equality task .the dominant and stronger gender must own it..not the brightes and brilliant |

Well my dear, life is full of competition Culture and rights are two different thing. The igbo culture for example give out lands to the male child because of continuity of linage. Assume there was war to take over land .who will protect you from the people who are built to be a predator.(must be a predator it's self) All things being equal .culture is not same with right dear. shaybebaby: |

We men have our flaws...and we can easily belittle little things that are part of existence.this it's self it's power. Women in the other way have same but in different ways..it's called the power to manipulate.these two things must coexist for an entity... Reality should not be misquoted with illusion ,leave the mind and see the world. Women don't have the strength to fight muscle strength...that's why is in their nature to avoid heavy lifting jobs that can wear and tear the tissue. Men also avoid jobs that has to do with emotions and consience.(marketing nursing sales rep)you can name it.that's why the society it's the way it is. |

shaybebaby:Why are you ignoring the question, have women being contesting for public positions and getting it? Yes or No. Is it an opinion or a fact as your brain stated earlier that there is no Law stopping women to contest? Yes or No. I don't have time abeg. |

FreeIgboho:1. Women aren't marginalised in Nigeria. Not even in the north. 2. A whiteman can never win an election in Nigeria, not even in his wildest dreams. A half caste sef can never win house of assembly seat in Nigeria. His opponent will simply go to the village and ask his people if they are going to elect a foreigner over their own son. A white man can't repeat such statements in a Caucasian society, he will called a racist and crucified. |

Right my friend. When someone is black he is black, let's be blunt for a while.history made us understand that the blacks are not Americans from generational origin. Same goes to woman.a woman is a woman and a man is a man that's all to it..if a woman feels cheated because she is a woman then she distastes her gender.there are certain things women can't do alone not because men programed it,but because she is built in that nature ,also they need help but shouting feminism will only cause more harm than good.well maybe because they don't know how best to do it than manipulate the world to it Walkee: |

shaybebaby:This reeks of pure hate from you, what does enemy within mean? She has a different opinion about marginalization in Nigeria & all of a sudden, she has become an enemy. So anyone that doesn't accept your POV is an enemy. So if crackhaus or raalsalghul disagrees with me on one topic , It automatically means they are now my enemies. Jeez! Thank God say man no be God o. |

shaybebaby:You see the boys asking if women will even vote for themselves and these ones come on along to prove them right. I hope there’s a reward in it for them. Of course many of them won’t vote for other women and yes it’s social conditioning. And for those asking, is patriarchy entirely men’s fault? No. Because it can’t be sustained without the support of women. So it’s a social issue for which men and women are at fault and the beneficiaries are men. Finished |

cococandy:I always hate the idea of coming hard on you because of your good side. Well, if you want to go and invite all your family members here/use your different monikers to support your erroneous claims to feel fly, that is up to you. The fact remains that as a bona fide Igbo son, in my family and Igboland in general, we do give all types of land/property to both males and females - in regards to ancestral land, the females here are those who choose not to marry for one good reason or another. No sane family in Igboland takes a contentious and contemptuous woman seriously and that is why they're usually ostracized or mostly married off to quasi-men within and outside Igboland. On the other hand, it's only a contentious and contemptuous married woman who gets a share of an ancestral land through her husband's family that will insist on also getting ancestral land from her father's ancestral land too - talk about greed pro-max. The funny thing is that your type can't be caught being against injustice because you hate it but because you're not the one meting it out against others. In summary, say no to bigotry, contentiousness, and contemptuousness. |

truthsayer009:It is what it is. Her case is the case of a turkey voting for Christmas. She is entitled to her opinion as are you, but when she dismisses the reality of data backed by data, thereby helping to uphold the same unequal system, she is just as responsible. Whilst you are it, why aren't you able to provide anything that backs your stance and hers asides from your vituperations. Newspaper article sef, you cannot share. ![]() |
