Show me Dame's post season stats let me check something abeg!

Don't even go too far, show me his stats in the sweeps against the Pelicans and the Warriors, make I leave the Grizzlies. Ain't nothing wrong with getting swept but choking and not showing up consistently in those series? Come on man!

Hehehe. I will answer your multiple questions but you should answer my ONE question first na. After all I asked you first. Don’t do like patrick abeg.

What I am seeing is that you are the one disrespecting Dame. You gloss over his achievements. Imagine saying “ Apart from the Western Conference finals”. grin

But then you focus on his mistakes while glossing over Kyrie’s. Kyrie has not had any winning without Lebron in this league despite playing in the weaker conference all his life.

Weak teams line the Raptors, 76ers, dysfunctional Pistons, and unserious Nets were keeping him bottom of the conference pre-Lebron.

Dame has a higher scoring average, higher rebounds average, higher assist average. Dame is a better leader.

Dame has gotten to a conference finals as the best player in a team. Something Kyrie can only ever dream of. I feel confident in saying probably something Kyrie would never do.

You can make an argument for Kyrie (which I will disagree with) but not this outrage you are trying to propagate. This is not Dominique not making the Top 50 list.

No one is disrespecting Dame. His name don dey the list, we no fit remove am. We are only saying that if he deserves to be on the list, then Kyrie also deserves to be on that list.
What has Dame done to be on that list? I still see nothing from all the write ups here.
What has AD done to be on the list when Dwight is not there? AD won a ring with Bron....... So has Kyrie, simple..

It is what it is, but we just dey talk am as e be. I'll put Klay on that list over Dame

Who will tell this Jaylen Brown chap that his 3 ball is not falling? This is what tires me with that dude. So inconsistent this Celtics 'big 2'

Now he is going to the rim. This is the problem I have with both JB and Tatum.. They get carried away with one type of offense.

The disrespect on CJ mehn.
Dame got injured at some point last season and CJ carried that team until his return.

Baba, lets rum a little experiment with two teams of different competive spectrums. The Bucks and Celtics. Out of Middleton, Jrue, J Brown, and CJ what rank will you give CJ.
For me he is last, which means if he were in any of their teams, he will be the 4th best player on the Bucks (and 5th most important), the 3rd best player on the Celtics. The dude is highly inconsistent offensively and offers next to nothing defensively so that are we talking about

It is a finite list. Everybody can’t make it. Some people will be snubbed but heaven does not have to fall.

The person that should be shedding tears is Dwight Howard. That is the real disrespect.

Defensive beast. Multiple DPOY. Led his team to the finals.

AD in my opinion is overrated anyway. Probably because he is the best American big man around.
The guy is as soft as wet tissue.

P.S I don’t mind your Klay pick. Apart from his scoring he also plays quality defence which should not be overlooked.

From this list, I will pick CJ at least 2nd if not first. Haba now...
CJ and Dame complement each other, just like Curry and Klay. Take CJ out of that Portland team and replace with Middleton or Jrue or Brown... You see any improvements?
Giannis/CJ/Jrue... Same result

Celtics Record 55-27

Celtics record with Kyrie 41-19

Celtics without Kyrie 14-8

This is my problem with this era. You rarely see guys that can score from all parts of the floor. Everyone has bad shooting nights but it's the frequency and predictability. Everyone trying to be Steph instead of finding your own niche and bread and butter on offense
Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 2:35am On Oct 23, 2021
You people are thinking it should be easy to choose the list maybe cos subconsciously you are thinking mainly of current or modern players.

By the time they start adding Cousy, Maravich, Unseld, Lucas and other immovable players as well as the usual suspects you recognise just how hard it is.

I absolutely agree. There are many ways to score especially for guard players but they get into their heads and restrict themselves to keep bricking.. If you ask them, dem go tell you say "Shooters shoot"!

Lol me na that Unseld I go first comot. It's not about modern era sef cos there were many solid players in the old era that didn't make the list. Alex English is one, Grant Hill etc but there really is not justifiable metric to leave Dwight Howard out that list. That one is unconscionable

How about Bernard King's exclusion? Baba, I don't think anyone (maybe I should speak for myself) thinks it's easy. But if Reggie Miller who held different NBA scoring records felt uneasy until he found his name, why should a Dame with only a conference final appearance be on that list? People are going to be left out and that is normal, it's our own work to debate the left outs.

Dwight's exclusion is unacceptable and egregious to be honest! Someone mentioned Tony Parker and I absolutely agree with that argument but again, it takes me back to Dame.. How does Parker miss out but Dame gets in? Dame could have gotten in during the 100th anniversary..Some players that did not make the list during the 50th made the list in the 75th.

CJ is better than two out of Middleton, Jrue holiday and Jaylen Brown?
No GM will pick CJ ahead of any of these players. He is a negative on defense an inconsistent scorer and an average playmaker. Yes he can go off in some games, that's about much all he is

So defense is no longer part of basketball abi. He is the worst defender out of the group. The 3rd best facilitator and just as inconsistent a scorer as Brown.

I no watch am but I don’t see why Unseld would be on it and Dwight not on.

Generally speaking I don’t see how 75 players get in ahead of Dwight.

These kinds of lists are popularity contests once you go further than the GOAT candidates or record breaking stat padders/title winners.

They are other guys on the list I have issues with too. With due respect if there was a draft and with what we know now no one is picking Rodman ahead of Howard.

Jaylen Brown is not a better facilitator than CJ. The difference in their defense is marginal. It is clear that you simply have no respect for CJ. Brown is not better than him

Parker is another shout but he played on a loaded team. Duncan, Kwahi, Ginobili are miles better than any team mate Dame ever had. Miles.

Pop is levels above Dame’s coaches.

Not saying Parker is not worth consideration, but just keeping things in context.

Just like the Celtics teams full of Hall of Famers in the 60s and to a lesser extent in the 80s. Separate all those players and maybe some of them don’t make the Hall. Who knows?

P.S Bernard King was relegated to the back pages of history like he never existed. If not for Spike and some OG players younglings would never know about BK from BK. His drug problems surely contributed.

In terms of playmaking CJ is 3rd to Jrue and Middleton, so I agree he is marginally better than Brown on that end
