Some people just like trouble, why can't he buy a land far away from the landlord's building? All these is not necessary. Hope he will be able to cope with seeing the landlord always? As for me I will rather get a house far away and enjoy my peace knowing fully well that people can be very petty.

If you cant pay rent, its legal your asked to leave.. If he bought the land there by chance good, if intentionally how petty, hope it not water logged and washed away later, out of a desire to be petty and fight back

Why is virtually everyone jumping into conclusion that he wasn't paying his rent thats why he was given quit notice. Nigerians and jumping into conclusion. Have you thought of thr ordeals he must have gone through the hands of the landlord to warrant him doing this. Some callous landlord need to shown that live doesn't revolve round their piece of property

Why will he buy land far away from the landlord, na d landlord give am money to buy land. He can buy land wherever he chooses, after its his money he has the right to buy land any where he pleases.

The landlord must have served the tenant a quit notice for a reason. No landlord will like to miss a good tenant.

Some tenants will be building and owe rents for years. It's a matter of conscience. Nothing for this tenant to brag about
