I noticed most Mums go to Texas to have their babies, I would like to as well. However, I don’t have any family members there. Can I get a doctor’s report from Texas in other to get a visa, then use it to visit Colorado(where my family stays), cos it’s been difficult getting a doctor there, and I would like to stay with them.
Does it work?? Plz I need response on this..thanks.

That would be lying, don't do that.

Good day house, please does any one know if it’s possible to get passport without the notarized document as there is no appointment date for lagos/Abuja office in October and only available date is november 30th and return flight is already scheduled for 11th.

Is there also a way one can apply you passport without SSN? No passport appointment available in November in Houston . Only date available is Oct 29th as at today

Please assist

Not possible. As long as you have your child's birth certificate, you should be able to apply for his passport much later when you have all the necessary documents.

I think the 1st thing you seek for is early date. Or do you have date already? Then second step commit everything to God because he has the final say. And even if you are giving agents to help out with your form please read through before submitting.

Thank you soo much for the information. I was able to get in through Atlanta and was stamped in for 6months.

Just to share some information about my POE.

I declared i was coming in for child birth in 2020 for my 1st baby, so they put me through the secondary screening. They asked questions about my work, how much i have, advised me not to take discount and to make sure i come with all my hospital receipts when next i am entering.

For my 2nd entry through same Atlanta, i was asked what my purpose of visit was then i was taken straight to secondary screening. I guess i was already flagged in the system from my 1st entry. They wanted to see all my receipt of payments from my 1st childbirth, including documentation from the hospital. I showed them everything. They were surprised i was coming in for another baby when they noticed i was pregnant. Wanted to know where my 1st baby was, how long i intend staying, when my EDD is, where my final destination is, who i will be staying with, how much i had on me, if i had a credit card.
Then he said i should make sure i bring all my receipts and hospital documentation next time like i did now. At that point, i knew he was going to stamp me in. WHEW!! Thank God!!

I think low hospital bill is still an issue because they were discussing if the hospital bill was high enough. My hospital zero balance letter carried $5100 for CS, luckily i gave them the receipts for the other expenses first. I.e. Gynecologist, paediatrician, Anesthetics, etc. So they saw all of those receipts 1st before seeing the amount on the zero balance letter. That didnt make them conclude i paid only $5100. My total bill was above $10k.

No one can accurately predict your future chances of getting a US visa.

Usually, people can enter the US before their visa expires and are permitted to stay there for a period corresponding to the stamp on their passport (usually 6 months max), regardless of whether their visa expires during their stay e.g. visa expires the day after they enter the US.

Hello people.

Please I need advise on the forward. Below is the issue summary.

I renewed my B1/2 visa via Dropbox in November 2017 and discovered I was pregnant in January 2018. I make enquiries about cost and possible hospitals. My search led me here in April 2018 and I joined the

A month to my travel date I sent the intent mail and got the automated response.

At the Poe I declared child birth and vacation. The officer asked why I came a lone and told him my husband and son will come in a month. No further question was asked. I used Henrico Doctors Hospital Richmond. And total hospital cost came to about 7000.

My visa will be expiring in November and I intend travelling in December so I applied early and was refused together with my husband and son.

The VO said it wasn't documented that I declared child birth as purpose of visit and that the Csection shouldn't have costed that little even when she saw the clearance letters saying i wasnt given any govt grant. I also didn't say anything about the change of intent mail I sent at this interview cos i wasnt given the chance it was very brief.

So I want to reapply and intend presenting the mail and my itemized bill which wasnt requested at this interview.

Please any suggestion and advise will be welcomed. Thank you all

How did this go Have you been issued visa since then

My POE experience was smooth

I landed at Atlanta airport, the man asked ne how long i was staying. I said 3 months. He said welcome to Amurika.

that said there was a very long queue and only 2 officers on duty so I guess thats why he didnt stress me much

WOW, GOOD NEWS, THE MIGHTY ATLANTA POE grin
was it a direct delta flight?

Hi there
Do you happen to have updated information about this? Cost implications for MD doctors and which OBGYN did you end up going with? If you don’t mind sharing what your experience was like too that would be so helpful. Thank you so much
purpleribbon:

Thank you very much. These are my hospital options for now
1)Holy Cross hospital (Dr. Moore OBGYN)
2) university of Maryland hospital
3) medstar

I’ve started visiting these places as my previous medical records were collected. I need to 5-7 days to know whether my case would be accepted.

I currently do not know the total cost implications.

Yes, that is very correct. If you’re not fully vaccinated, you won’t be able to enter the United States.
