I had 2:2 also with a CGPA OF 3.16 and I have been working in the telecoms company ever since I graduated, I have worked with about 5 different companies with my 2:2 and infact I just completed my master degree in the US.
This is to tell you that your 2:2 will take you to so many places in the world if you believe, I will advise you to go for your MSc degree as well if you are still scared of your 2:2, you didn't mention your CGPA because that also matters when search for institution to have your MSc done. Most institutions will request for a CGPA OF 3.0 and above for masters.

Literally almost all university in Nigeria accept 2.2 irrespective of cgpa. Even some university will ask their product with 3rd class to apply for masters and they’d take them ( I saw this on obafemi awolowo university and university of Ibadan website.)

Going internationally some university will just state 2.2 grade why some university will include the cgpa they want which the minimum is 3.0.

If that dude is with 2.50, he should just chase only school that state 2.2 grade Nd shouldn’t near those with cgpa attachment.

You can do it yourself. Just go online and browse for schools, check for their website and message them or you check their requirements and apply. Also meet their requirements by having your transcripts at hand, get international passport or a valid means of identification but most schools do request for int’l passport, English language proficiency test result; some school can waive it with ur waec or you go to your university ad obtain a letter stating your degree activities is in English language, fill any schools u like online application, write your SOP, provide your professional work experience and finally have your money in your pocket because studying abroad is very costly. The commenter that got 9 admissions was very skillful with it Nd I’m sure he got his money too. Admission is not hard, 4 schools also issued me admission but the main thing is MONEY. Do you have the money? If go on u’d be admitted in no time. If you’re very skillful with your application you can even bag admission in Ivy League schools with 2.2. There are masters degree you can run online here in naija and online mode of training won’t reflect on the certificate, after completion you travel to the school for graduation and obtain your certificate or they send it to you.

You had 4 or 5 years to correct this but you are just SEEING your CGPA now. When you begin to pay bills you will understand how it feels.

Anyway, I had class rep that had 2.2 and now an assistance bank manager in Access. If your papa get long leg, hin fit help you. Otherwise, buy yourself a laptop and start learning some IT stuff ( or yahoo if you so desire). With IT skill your certificate will not matter.

Sincerely this is not the end of the world. Completing school with either a 2.1. or a 1st class does not equate to success in life. Just so you know, I finished with a 3rd class and I'm a director at an intl company. Pick yourself up, dust yourself and look for ways to improve yourself. There are lots of courses out there to help you evolve into a successful superstar... Just believe in yourself and keep your head up

Been there OP, I recall cussing at myself after graduating with 2.2 how I had set myself up for failure. But alas, grades don’t equate success smartness does. I cleared my head for the challenges ahead and not only did I excel, 2.5yrs after graduation I was already an expatriate, enjoying all expenses paid living, earning $$$. I don’t even know where that certificate is at. To think I almost got depressed for graduating with a 2.2 you will be fine.

Tell him in exactly the same way you told us here.

You're gonna have to tell him somehow you know.

So the sooner you tell him, the quicker you'll get to deal with the shitstorm.

- Got into the Telecoms domain and leveraged building multiple skills to ensure my portfolio was robust&diverse
- Kept applying for International offers till 1 finally came through (must have applied for more than 300 different opportunities)
-Once I japa I kept exploring more opportunities

If I was starting all over, I would learn Software Development (not Web development), UI/UX, Salesforce DevOps

Yes I believe everyone can, its a journey so you will need to start with some fundamentals, likely not in programming (software development) but you can build competence in UI/UX, Data Analytics, Network Administration/Security without an IT background
