Asides local farm produce which I'm yet to buy, things seems to more expensive here than in Portharcourt. The price of a 6kg gas cylinder is sold here for atleast 13,500 NGN that's the least price I have seen. The same cylinder costs for 11,000 in Portharcourt.

The loaf of bread sold here for #800 goes for #700 in Portharcourt as at the time of this writing.

Clothes are more expensive here than in Portharcourt (not boutique clothes)

A bag of sachet water sold for #150 in Portharcourt goes for #170 - 200 here in Oshogbo.

Every writeup here is based on facts and not assumption.

I have only spent four days in Oshogbo since I left portharcourt

More updates loading..
Things were very cheap in olOsogbo until recently. When I visited Osogbo in 2016/17 and compare it to now, I'm usually shocked at how things has skyrocketed in few years.
The Osogbo of yester years was very cheap compared to now.

Life in Oshogbo is just normal and kinda bored and there are less than a few busy places to visit. Crime rate is low here. The cost of rent is cheap but groceries aiint cheap, except weed.

As for business, it would depend on your line of business.

Bro, how your side? You still in Osogbo? Maybe the epileptic power situation is cos of the collapsed national grid.

Has the situation improved now?

Jos is okay but there's not much of business opportunities except your bringing it with you. About crisis well, if you stay within your lane you'll be just fine. Houses are cheap and transportation is also mildly cheap about night life Jos is top-notch and lastly don't stay more than 1hour in bauchi road ✍️

Yes, I'm in Osogbo. The power supply hasn't been stable since this year. It was really good when I came in last year.

I came into Osogbo in 2017 for service after living in Lagos my whole life, then after NYSC, I decided to stay back because the state looks cool and power supply was okay to me. I've living in Osogbo for 5 years now. Nice experience so far.

Oshogbo peeps, I'm relocating to Oshogbo this week.

I'd like to know if the power supply is NOW okay. Plus, I need an agent that can work fast.

Olawrites, how much does a room and parlour self contain go for in your estate?

@Reallover,I've quite followed your relocation thread. I look forward to moving in by the year ending. How has your experience been? I'm a tech guy and basically work remotely. However, I look forward to knowing some tech firms in Oshogbo. How's the tech life over there?
