The debt is $60m, the market cap of GTB is $2B. At 22% compounded interest and assuming GTB doesnt grow in that period. it will take him 20 years for his debt to grow to the point that he owns GTB.

if GTB grows at an annual rate of 5 % (very modest growth rate) then every year GTB is growing at a rate greater than the debt that is owed (in yr 1 for example GTB is already $100m more valuable, wheras Innoson debt has only increased to $72m), so as a proportion of their market cap his debt despite the 22% interest becomes a smaller proportion of GTB's market cap with every passing year........ therefore he can never own GTB because of this debt

There is no forged document, GTBANK brought the issue in court to avoid being asked to pay back the illegally deducted money from his account and lost the case from the lowest court to the supreme court.

Honestly, I am incapable of hate. I know the true background of the story and how but for the smart way Agbaje moved quickly to save GTB, the bank would have been killed like Diamond Bank.

When they changed their name to gtco then it became clear to me that they were running and hiding from something bigger than them.... But they can't hide, their stupidity must be punished accordingly so others can learn from it not to steal from their clients.

Nigerian banks are notorious for stealing from their clients without their knowledge.... They even steal from young hustling youths. If you ve a lot of inflow they assume you don't keep good record so they tap from it.

Seems you didn't follow the case at all but stupidly jumped in to comment as a tribal warlord, Innosson accused GTB of outright stealing and fraud in the operation of his account, they both went to court and Innosson proved his case with facts which GTB could not refute and a judgement was given in his favour, in normal societies where normal people reside and the rule of law is King, GTB would have paid up the judgement amount or it's assets would have been liquidated to offset the sum, but unfortunately Nigeria is not a normal nation and Nigerians are not normal people which is why we all live like animals guided by no rules
