Since you say that you have reached the maximum number of deferral, then you have a few options:
1. Ask if you can start your program online whilst waiting for the outcome.
2. Keep emailing IRCC, informing them of the situation.
3. Just wait!

Hi,
Please I need your help good people of naira land
My visa application is still processing and I want to defer my Admission but the only problem I have now is that I have reached the maximum number of deferring request. Don’t know how to go about it. Please can some one help me out?

They dont requireIELTS if you have a C4 in English in your Waec and your University transcript have a B in an English course.
For the refund process, you will only get the refund of your confirmation deposit if your study permit is rejected.

Hi Teekay,

Are you going to KPU?

Hi, please what cgpa did you graduate with? I plan on applying for same program as well.

My CGPA is 3.44 ( plus recommendation and work experience) you can as well try reaching out to me via email since you plan on going for same program as mine. At the moment , I am waiting for my study permit as I plan deferring to May 2022 since January seems impossible due to the SP delay.

Hi Onaya, I believe you have requested for your GCMS notes to know the detailed status of the application? 7 months is a long time or is your programme start date still far?

Yes, I have. But I'm yet to get it since two months ago I ordered it. My program's entry point is fall only; so I had to defer to next fall because I didn't want to start virtually.

@Teemenzo. Refire. It's a delay. Your next app will be an approval.

To all ppr holders this week. Congratulations. The land of Canada will favour you all.

To those still expecting an approval including my hubby, this month will not pass you all.

Hi guys.

Please checkout my study permit application timeline.
Application submitted: July 12th, 2021
Biometrics done/updated: July 14th
Medical request: September 30th
Medicals done: October 21st
Medicals passed: October 26th
Eligibility review started: October 26th

I haven't gotten an update for more than 3 weeks since I passed my medicals and eligibility review. My program (PGCert) is to start by January and I'm getting worried.

I have raised two webforms complaining about the delay, one 2 weeks ago, the second last week, but no response.

I hear a final decision is made shortly after medicals is passed and eligibility review starts.

Please guys what's your advice?

Hi everyone
For anyone going through BA, can I hold my hand luggage and a back pack apart from the two 23kg given?

Yeah you can the smartest way is put ur laptop in. The bag pack add clothes in it if they ask say it’s ur laptop bag and chargers

The hand carry they rarely ever weigh it so it shouldn’t be too big 10kg is fine avoid boxes cos they have their own weight

Sorry where did you do your medicals?
I want to apply for visa now and I don’t know if I should do upfront medicals or not because of unavailable spot for medicals

You will need to keep sending, the idea isnt for them to reply but to get their attention to your own app and conclude on it.
7months is a long time.

I hope bombarding them with more emails won't result in more delay?

Did my medicals at IOM Lagos
IOM Migration Health Assessment Centre, Lagos
Isaac John St, Ikeja GRA 101233, Ikeja, Nigeria

Yeah.. you could do upfront medicals if there are no slots.
However, what I did was to book an available slot then I called IOM to reschedule my booking for a closer date.

Hello Andy

Send them at least 5 daily mails every day, until you get a response from them,
Individual mails to Nairobi, Lagos, London.

I had over 6 applicants who contacted me today that they got positive responses from IRCC after they have been sending at least 5 daily emails to IRCC for 2, 3, 4 weeks..

So start sending them at least 5 emails daily to those Visa centers without relenting, you should get a response from them in a week or 2 or 3, as the case may be...

Regards
Makano

I had a similar experience when booking with IOM. Though all the slots were completely booked, I called them and they fixed a convenient date for me.
