My advice:
1. Look beyond physical attractiveness (modest beauty should be enough) when choosing a life partner. Beauty can be deceitful and vain, it covers a lot of character flaws.
2. Do not look for love (most women know how to pretend they love you, when you are giving them what they want), instead, look for good virtues (genuine and not pretence), you can learn to love anyone if you put your mind to it.
3. Look out for mental, spiritual and financial self-sufficiency, in your partner, so that you don't marry a liability.
4. Do not let it be written all over you that you are searching for a life partner, or else you will fall victim of emotional blackmail.
5. No woman is perfect, but as you look out for your desired virtues in your woman, also be aware of the vices she posseses that you can still tolerate. In the future, you will find solace in those good virtues anytime you are confronted with those vices.

How do you currently build your network? I got back in 2014 and IT WAS HARD! I mean, I didn't know my way around, my family wasn't here either. My colleagues were mostly Returnees like me and expats.
