Hello everyone, I have been following this tread for a while now. Weldon to all the contributors and gurus in the house. I filed for my student visa application on the 13th of October, today I got a refusal letter reasons visa officer is not convinced I have enough funds to cover my tuition and living expenses. I had paid 8000 cad for first semester fees. I also have ordered my gcm notes. Please my question is, while I await my gcm notes can I plan to transfer money to a Gic account? My program is a two year diploma. Thank you. |

mokikeoj:You don’t need any app . After doing your vaccine you will be given a card to proof you’re fully vaccinated against ,on that card you’ll find a Qrcode attached to it .. and here’s where you’ll use your phone . Open your camera of your phone and place it on the scan attached to your vaccine card then it will scan it and take you to your browser .make sure you have your internet on then it will open their site and bring out your record . Here’s where you’ll see if your full vaccinated and the type of vaccine they gave you ... |

Long Post Alert! I said I was gonna come back This Canada waka has not been easy.I am a second time applicant. I used the service of an immigration lawyer in Canada for my first application. I was devastated after spending hugely ( over 500k)for my refused application. Shortly after using the services of the imm lawyer was when google brought me to Nairaland platform. So immediately after my refusal I contacted justmellow on Nairaland but fully engage him through his social media page on Twitter/IG @GCMSWriters after seeing an impressive review about him here. The rest is now history. Glory be to God. 1st application Applied - January 15th 2021 Refusal - May 27th 2021 Biometrics –january 21, 2021 Medicals – Upfront Eligibility Start: not sure cos my lawyer took charge of the IRCC account Reasons from notes ordered- source of family’s income was unclear. It was unclear whether funds provided will be available for studies. Motivation to pursue studies was unreasonable. Study plan was general . 2nd application Applied - August 8, 2021 Eligibility review- November 8,2021 MeDical updated- November 22, 2021 PPR- November 23, 2021. Our gurus on this platform are not getting enough exposure and support because these guys are awesome. @Justmellow also guided me on how to withdraw the service of the immigration lawyer and came up with quite an approach as if he was an IRCC rep. I screamed when I saw the approved message. It was like I was shocked by an electricity leak. Lol How I addressed the reasons for refusal , I contacted @justmellow for assistance. He went for his application guide & advice services and he also wrote my SOP and LOE ( as they said the initial one I did was general) And he also advised on extra documents I could add to back up my application. As par my family establishment ..I added my dad’s retirement letter and also provided CAC for his new business of which luckily I had a stake in( even though the business no dey function) As par funds not sure of being available- I provided my payslips for 6months to show source of funds( I didn’t submit my payslips in first application), 6 months MBS of my accounts.) As par motivation for studies- it was clearly narrated in my SOP by @justmellow. In the process of waiting for my application to be approved, I requested my GCMS notes from justmellow website www.gcmswriters.com Documents used All the IMM forms Letter of Recommendation from local government chairman Undergraduate degree certificate NYSC Certificate SSCE/WAEC WES Certificate Study Leave letter from my office Letter of Introduction from my office Offer of Employment from my office Payslips 6 months Work ID Card MyBankStatement salary account - 2m MyBankStatement Savings account -6m Mutual funds -350k Pension Funds - 5.5m First Semester Tuition Fee Payment Bank Letter of Reference savings account Letter of Support (Father) Deed of Assignment and valuation Documents My Car Pictures and it’s documents Affidavit of support from dad Retirement Letter of dad and certificate of Service CAC Business Registration documents and Business ID Card for dad Birth certificate for dad and siblings My resume Police report. I want to use this medium to thank justmellow for his efforts put in my application though it was paid and also for having a listening ear…also to the angels in this forum like Makano, frankrobbn, anon123 etc for helping in one way or the other through their questions and solutions to them, I say thank you and to the creator of this Nairaland forum too. It’s been a long journey but thank God it ended well. Pardon me if there are any typos, abeg manage the reading like that. It is still a dream. Thank you mellow. WHAT GOD CANNOT DO TRULY DOESN’T EXIST |

Makhel:Please, gurus in the house kindly reply me. I understand I have to wait for gcm notes, but I equally want to start planning since I already know generic reasons for refusal. |

I think we are not allowed to write websites here or so. Just send me a mail and I will share the link with you. It is only someone in Canada that can order on your behalf which is why people use those third parties. I think its 5cad actually from IRCC page but that is if you have someone that can order it for you directly. All the best GracefulG: |

Makhel:It will be advisable to wait for your GCMS notes to know the exact thoughts of the VO before making a decision to open GIC, opening a GIC does not take time, so wait for your GCMS notes, did you use sponsor? did you declare the sponsors' occupation? how close are you to your sponsor? |

omodunniolaiya:Omo, was it an agent that paid for you earlier? You need to respond to the letter with cogent reasons why the payment failed, you can also reach to GBemisola, can't remember her exact moniker , she had the same issue and was able to respond and has gotten her PPR, you have to respond quickly too. |
