Thabk you sir
Frankrobbn1:

Since your MP is unable to assist you make an enquiry on your application. I will rather suggest that you continue mailing the responsible immigration officer handling your application to expedite the processing of your file. In the event that your file has exceeded the normal processing times, you may consider ordering your case file in order to ascertain the progress your file has reached.

It will end in praise

Hello everyone, I have been following this tread for a while now. Weldon to all the contributors and gurus in the house.
I filed for my student visa application on the 13th of October, today I got a refusal letter reasons visa officer is not convinced I have enough funds to cover my tuition and living expenses.
I had paid 8000 cad for first semester fees.
I also have ordered my gcm notes. Please my question is, while I await my gcm notes can I plan to transfer money to a Gic account? My program is a two year diploma. Thank you.

Long Post Alert
First Time Applicant in fact I have never entered a plane before.
God is faithful and is always on time
God stood by me and didn’t put me to shame when I started this Canada journey I didn’t even know I could do it because somebody told me Canada is a no go area so channeled my energy towards the U.K immediately I got admission there I was ready to apply for a visa but my dad insisted that Canada is the goal, not the U.K. I reluctantly applied to just one university (University of Windsor) Master of Management(HRM) I applied in February and in between I got a job offer that was very suitable for my career but they decided to bond me for 2 years I was willing to let go of traveling out to take the job offer and my father insisted that Canada is the goal I was hurt because I have gone through all the processes for the job but I had to leave it because of that I found nairaland but I have already applied to the university then I saw something like career progression then I was scared because I have B.Sc. in Insurance and I applied for HRM all in all I was granted admission on May 30. I also learned about the NSE route and that I have to take IELTS that’s when wahala started oo because right from day one my uncles have always told me that the exam is very hard so I have made up my mind to avoid it but at this point, there’s no going back I practiced by myself and wrote it. Through this platform, I met Spectro baba (lol) the first time I messaged him I was able to pay my tuition fee through his guidance something I’ve been trying to do for a month. I applied on August 31st I went for upfront medical since July I was intentional about it. The wait after getting my correspondence letter was very tiring I sent a lot of emails, ordered my GCMS notes yet to receive it though, and raised webforms but I calm down a bit after the MP I contacted told me congratulations I still waited for a week before I got my approval. The wait humbled me because I don’t even know who to beg I remembered sending mail and I used their creator to beg them. All in all, God did it NLP also helped me to pray and I attended reboot camp. The way I will dance in church tomorrow ehn in fact they will need to hold me. GLORY!!!!!

Please I am not sure I understand this. Please where exactly or with what app am I supposed to scan the QR code on the card to confirm the records they have.

You don’t need any app . After doing your vaccine you will be given a card to proof you’re fully vaccinated against ,on that card you’ll find a Qrcode attached to it .. and here’s where you’ll use your phone . Open your camera of your phone and place it on the scan attached to your vaccine card then it will scan it and take you to your browser .make sure you have your internet on then it will open their site and bring out your record . Here’s where you’ll see if your full vaccinated and the type of vaccine they gave you ...

The bolded is never compulsory, it was an option before when we still had NSE, but to anymore..

So you are saying it is now compulsory
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Ruby22: 8:03am On Nov 24, 2021
makano:
Hello Ruby

The bolded is not totally correct..

The normal procedure is that IRCC will send Medical request to an applicant when eligibility has been passed, but because of the delay in IRCC sending Medical request, applicants took it on themselves to go for an Upfront Medical to avoid the delay of medicals...

So you doing upfront medicals before or after the submission of your application depends on you.. If you do it before, you will need to submit the E-medical sheet with your application and make sure you state in your form/SOP/LOE that you have done your Medicals and you have attached the E-MEDICALS to the other documents you are submitting.. If you do it after, you will need to submit the E-MEDICAL SHEET to IRCC via Webform and also Email, and make sure your UCI and application number is stated in the content of your mail..

Peace

Thanks @makano just seeing your reply

It is necessary to get one as it guides you on your reapplication.

You can make use of thegcmsonline.com to apply or i can apply for you.

Alright.. Thank you
How long does it take?

viviangogos:
It is always advisable to get your gcms notes cause the VO will detail the main issues thereby buttressing on the generic refusal reasons you see on the refusal letter. This will give you better insights on how to tackle their concern in your re application.
There are some of the 3rd parties that can request the notes on your behalf like " Just Canada( I used them for mine and paid 19cad), getgcmsdotcom ( 20cad) etc.

All the best

It is highly recommended that you order for your case file once a refusal has been communicated to you. It will enable you understand the actual reasons for the refusal of your application. This will guide you on how to present your case in the next attempt with adequate information and persuasive explanation to show that your situation has substantially changed.

The bolded is not advisable..

You must complete a program before you enrol for the second program so you can qualify for a three years Post Graduate Work Permit.

Good morning everyone,

I got a question,

For Someone who is running a full time 1 year Program in Canada, can such person take a second Program that is One year but part time?

The school offering this second program is a DLI and is PGWP eligible, and they accept international students.

The intentions of this person is to do this part time 1-year second program and get a 2-3years PGWP

Thanks

You already seem to have a blueprint to demonstrate that you are a genuine student. However, ensure not to mention that you intend to pursue further study after the first.

TRU remains my choice!

I want to ask if it is possible for Canada to process PPR in 3 months? also can PPR go through express entry? am looking for a way to escape the 6 months duration. if you have any info as regard this please share it with me.

Best regards.

I think we are not allowed to write websites here or so.
Just send me a mail and I will share the link with you. It is only someone in Canada that can order on your behalf which is why people use those third parties. I think its 5cad actually from IRCC page but that is if you have someone that can order it for you directly.

I contacted @justmellow for assistance. He went for his application guide & advice services and he also wrote my SOP and LOE ( as they said the initial one I did was general) And he also advised on extra documents I could add to back up my application.

As par my family establishment ..I added my dad’s retirement letter and also provided CAC for his new business of which luckily I had a stake in( even though the business no dey function)
As par funds not sure of being available- I provided my payslips for 6months to show source of funds( I didn’t submit my payslips in first application), 6 months MBS of my accounts.)
As par motivation for studies- it was clearly narrated in my SOP by @justmellow. In the process of waiting for my application to be approved, I requested my GCMS notes from justmellow website www.gcmswriters.com

Thank you.

It will be advisable to wait for your GCMS notes to know the exact thoughts of the VO before making a decision to open GIC, opening a GIC does not take time, so wait for your GCMS notes, did you use sponsor? did you declare the sponsors' occupation? how close are you to your sponsor?

hello everyone! please I am in trouble. I applied for my permit in may and did my biometrics as well. recently I received a request letter for payment receipt in September. I did that and then on Monday I received a procedural fairness letter saying if I don't explain why the payment was invalid and pay the money I will be refused and not allowed to apply for 5 years. please after making a second payment, what documents do I submit to make sure i will be accepted for visa. because the message they sent is very serious. I do not know the issue with any of the payments because they were all approved by them but nevertheless I will pay again. along with new proof of payment, what else will I submit as an explanation for the previous payment invalidity? please this is urgent, I have till December 7 to reply
Omo, was it an agent that paid for you earlier? You need to respond to the letter with cogent reasons why the payment failed, you can also reach to GBemisola, can't remember her exact moniker , she had the same issue and was able to respond and has gotten her PPR, you have to respond quickly too.
