Most men just want to bed a beautiful lady, but they are scared that she's too beautiful to be faithful. You often see how some men discuss wanting moderate to ugly women, so that they won't stray to other men because they won't be attractive.

The assumption that beauty means trouble. I don't even know how Nigerian men concluded on this one.

Then there's the assumption that she's already taken, yet she may not be.

Then there's the belief that she's not intelligent and will be snobbish. By the time men have pestered a beautiful woman for relationships, she must be tired and would've created walls. Some are just introverts who want their peace.

There beautiful women married to poor men. The man is the determinant. Most men don't have good characters but expect so much from women. Beautiful or not, women also want peace of mind.

You will see a man married to a very beautiful woman but still cheating with a very ugly woman
Infact I have seen cases where the ugly woman completely snatches the man from his wife

The fact is that it's not just beauty that ties a man down because beauty is vain, meaning it doesn't last

And from experience, (many men can attest to this) not so beautiful women tastes better sexually on the long run, so a man will prefer choosing to marry a woman that he knows years down the line, he will still not get tired of having good sex with his wife. In order to avoid cheating in marriage

I have seen countless cases where ugly house maid snatch the husband of a beautiful woman and people will be asking how manage it happened

A beautiful lady can have a lot of admirers and still not get any marriage proposal. A lot of guys will not marry a lady just because she is beautiful, they will have to see the potential they want in a wife in her before they can marry her.

When a guy approaches a lady, does she immediately know his intentions? Does she know if he just needs someone that will satisfy his sexual urges? The guy might just see her as a sex material.

If beauty is the key, why are all rich men not marrying models or beauty queens? Bill Gates, ex wife Melinda Gates is a computer scientist, Mark Zuckerberg wife, Priscilla Chan use to be a pediatrician, Jeff Bezos gf, Lauren Sánchez is an American news anchor, media personality and an actress. An average looking lady with good qualities might be preferred over an extremely beautiful lady with no qualities.

Same men who say beautiful women cannot be wives, due to some silly assumptions, so they marry the ugly ones who they feel they can control.

Most men are scared of beautiful women and know there is competition. Everything comes with a price, but many don't and cannot pay it. It has nothing to do with beautiful women, because if trash men keep approaching her, she has a right to turn them down the same way a man would refuse to marry someone he thinks is a bad woman.

Beautiful women don't have to agree to marry you just because you're a man and she should be desperate to.

u are somehow right dear but,what about a case were by the man jaa been so patience for 4yrs with the relationship and the lady was on a bench warmer ,immediately the guy was ready ,I mean what dose it take for that lady to say yes I will marry u ,after the guy have spent 4 good yrs chasing this lady with all humblness but the lady still decline.

We once had such a thread on the forum asking ladies why they turned down marriage proposals. Truth is that men need to work on their characters, too.

Sometimes the problem is with the men. For instance a lady who wants to get married as a virgin. So many guys will come and go until she meets the one who is patient who she desires. Meanwhile onlooking men will say she is beautiful but old and unmarried and how they have gotten married and have children. That she's choosy etc

Life is more complex than what we think and see.

That sounds more like a person that doesn't respect his marital vows. Of course because a woman is beautiful doesn't mean she will love sex ten times a week the way the maid would be ready to oblige sir.

One might say there are handsome men whose wives cheat on them, too. Or who prefer to live it out with a laborer who may not meet up with the husband.

These things are complex and so we cannot say beautiful people have this problem or that, that they were haughty or after wealth etc. Life is such that we can't tell what is happening to another person thoroughly. Until you ask them, you won't know what they're going through.

This life is deep. Those ones u call ugly are believed to marry a "not so do well" husband so village people don't even reason them.
