You are right, this is exactly what Papapa just said today on this thread.

People just come asked questions fiaaaaaam den don go.

What God cannot do does not exist " boom dey disappear

"Help me thank the Lord bla bla.." na disappear dey end am.

People no dey post a well detailed timeline again.

Hello @kennyjoy and @liannna I’m sorry guys and honestly what you think. I just tot most of the whole process as been repeated on the group most of the time and there is a whole thread for it and I didn’t even do anything special. But to cut the long story short.

Started processing December 2020 applied for 3schools (2 in Ontario) and 1 in Manitoba got admission into all 3schools but I chose to settle for Cambrian college sudbury. I was denied visa in April 2021 I reapplied June 7th 2021 got request for medical October 23 did medical nov 9th at iom ikeja. Passed medical for me and my daughter 17th November 2021 . Got my Ppr 19th November for only me still waiting for my daughter’s ppr hence why I’m so worried. I’m sorry thank you

Good morning fam,

I have been trying to apply to Fanshawe College (online) but it keeps saying that applicants from Nigeria should apply through an agent.

Those that applied how did you go about it?

Hi guys.

I really appreciate the work y'all do here. I've been a silent reader and I've learnt so much from this platform.

I'm pleased to say that I got my PPR last week.

However, I have a question.

How can someone show proof of funds when asked at the Point of Entry (POE) into Canada?

All the funds I need are in my sponsor's account. Should I just print his bank statements and letter of sponsorship or transfer the funds to my account?

Please treat as urgent. Thanks.

Here we go again. Another one that’s gets ppr and only comes back when they have a question. The reason we ask you guys to drop your timeline is to continue to encourage others still waiting for theirs.

You can only apply via a recognised agent from the school. Visit the school site, you will see a link to check recognised agents in Nigeria who you can contact.

It is not a big deal at all, that’s what will keep this Thread alive, it helps others to be able to speculate and estimate their possibly PPR dates. Something that will not take 30mins to compose. Our people can just be ridiculous.

We both did Medicals on 9th of November and medical was confirmed passed for both me and my daughter 17th of November, however I’m yet to get PPR for my daughter. Please what could be the issue and is there a positive chance for my daughter. I am really worried because school is starting 15th of January. Please kindly advise. Shey I just wrote it..I tookmy time to read and observe thread 600 to 625..only two people came back..its selfish..you would think there is enough info until you realise it's how to submit passprt and documents needed to travel full the thread.
One of the two persons listed health insurance for her kids from her school..I had never thought of that until she dropped that info..people dont know how helpful it is to drop full transcript.

You can imagine. Please can you reference the post of that person that made mention of health insurance for her kids? That'd be very useful. Thanks.

PPR Alert!!

Indeed God is faithful. I'm so grateful to all the members on this platform that has helped me in my study permit application.

I'll try my best to keep this post short.

The very first thing I did when I began my journey to study in Canada was to take IELTS Academic. I sat for the exam on the 10th of April, 2021 and results came in sometime around May. Thankfully, I had an overall band 7.5. Listening-8.5 Reading-7.5 Writing-6.5 Speaking-7.5.

After that, I started applying to colleges because I didn't get into universities. I applied to Cambrian, Durham, Georgian, Lambton and Conestoga colleges (all in Ontario). Got admissions in all, thankfully.
I chose to study Computer Applications Development in Conestoga to begin in January, 2022.

Then my visa journey started...

TIMELINE
Application submitted: 12th July, 2021
Biometrics done and updated (Lagos): 14th July
Medical request: 30th September
Medicals done (IOM Lagos): 21st October
Medicals updated to pass/Eligibility review: 26th October
PPR request/BVL: 24th November
Passport sent to VFS Abuja: 25th November (awaiting stamping and delivery)

DOCUMENTS (Applicant)

All the IMM forms
International Passport
Digital passport photo
Letter of Acceptance/Co-op confirmation letter

Client information documents
- Statement of purpose (Very important)
- Degree certificate
- Waec result
- IELTS result
- Professional certificates
- Birth certificate

SPONSORS DOCUMENTS

Passport bio-data page
Birth certificate
Proof of first term tuition payment ($8,723)
Bank account statements for 5 months (February - June, 2021)
Letter of Employment
Payslips for 4 months (February - May, 2021)
Pictures of sponsor and applicant

Truly, it has been God all the way.
I know my application wasn't perfect but God perfected it.

I studied Chemical engineering and I'm going for a PGCert in Computer Applications Development. Isn't God wonderful?!

My sponsor is my elder brother, no lump sum, no landed properties or company registration. Just the first term tuition was paid ($8,723). I was worried about my family ties but I talked about my love for my family and opportunities in Nigeria upon completing my studies.

Though the application might be very stressful, the wait may seem long, trust in God and He will make everything beautiful in His time.

Indeed, it will end in praise.
